Awful customer service, they started to take money from me on a day in the month that definitely didn’t suit me, refused to change the date. Took no responsibility for the mix up in dates, blamed me and the told me they will charge me €100 if I go to another provider. Avoid this bunch at all costs !
Yuno kept charging even after switching and bills were generated and still not able to resolve that issue and they debit money in advance and hard to get back the money

My experience is always going downhill with Yuno. The signup was easy, but they forgot to add my OneBigSwitch bonus. They did not ask for my eircode and when I asked what they had on file it was completely different. The app is an absolute nightmare and has not worked once in over 6 weeks, the forecast and prediction system does not work, and it thinks lower values are higher values so you end up paying more than necessary. The bills do not arrive on time and you are left wondering how much you will have to pay. Since I signed up I have only had problems, left to solve them for myself, and then another problem follows. I would not recommend this company simply due to the app not working as it should. In addition: I have talked to Richard, Constance and Connor about these problems and nothing is being done to solve them. They say its being looking into, but weeks pass and the app is still broken and is giving me total nonsense figures.

Chasing for 2 months for my final statement and refund. I have called, I have sent emails I have contacted support. I am yet to get my final statement and refund. Paying in advance seems fine unless you not going to get your money back when you leave.

Hi, Aviod this ponzi scheme at all cost or they will clean out your bank acc. while also harvesting the government energy credit assistance!!! I'm almost €500 out of pocket in a month & was assured on the phone they would be taking no more money from my acc. for a while as my credit total was so high. They helped themselves to €45 again a few days ago!!!! My bill for the 1st Month was €74 - No Saving over my last supplier @ 45 cent per Kw even though Yuno claim they charge 31.55 cent per Kw? This company is structured to bypass your Smart Meter with no saving for me & remove any control I have over my bank payments bypassing the usual Direct Debit system!!! I checked and there's no record in my bank acc. so Yuno Energy must be presenting a Standing Order etc. to lift my money from my Bank Account?? ie; I can stop Direct Debits at any time through my Bank app.!!! This Ponzi scheme is brought to you by Pre Pay Power - need I say more? Ripoff Merchants !!!

Unfortunately, I must give a very low rating to this company. Although the fixed plan has excellent rates, the Sales Team at Yuno Energy has done a poor job. The following reasons explain why I am scoring them one star: Yuno Energy's pricing model only works if you have a Smart meter. ESB has confirmed that I can't get a smart meter for another three months, but YUNO assured me that it only takes two weeks to get a Smart meter installed, which is incorrect. At the time when I signed up, Yuno Energy should have asked for a meter reading, but they didn't. Without having an accurate reading, the predicted usage that their app shows is based on the national average. Seven days in advance of the date of the bill, you have to give them a meter reading if you don't have a smart meter, but at the time when I signed up, this was not explained to me. This explains why many customers have mentioned in their reviews that they don't understand why they are being charged more when their usage is less. According to ESB, even if you have a smart meter at the time when you open an account, you need a meter reading so that you get an accurate bill based on your usage. Overall, Yuno sales teams need training, and they need to provide accurate information to the customer. In the coming months, I would expect to see many customers leaving Yuno Energy. Again, it is a great tariff but sold incorrectly. If you have a smart meter, provide a meter reading when you open an account, and use the app correctly; it is possible to make some savings. However, charging people in advance based on predicted usage needs to be more transparent, and at the moment, it is unclear.

I changed over to Yuno as they were supposed to be cheaper than the rest but so far they are way more expensive than my previous supplier when I called they told me it was because they underestimated my previous bill so it was added on to the next bill. I don't like that they estimate what you might use as opposed to what you actually use they should charge for what you use at end of the month like other suppliers.

I left Electric Ireland after 30+ years as their loyalty didn’t match mine. I signed up for Yuno after checking price comparisons very carefully but I did not read any online reviews. The Yuno app showed that I was using over €5 a day on the first few days after signing up - a 80-100% increase over my current total costs. I used the in-app chat to query this and, while I found the chat app a bit clunky to use on my iPhone (it sent messages before I had finished typing them and I lost the whole chat if I left the window), I spoke to Josh who was very patient and reassuring over a number of chats and picked me up again when the chat dropped. He explained that this was not real or accurate data showing as I had not changed over to the Yuno service yet. This was enough to stop me cancelling the new contract but I do wonder what it means - if it shows usage/costs when I have none, how reliable will the data be when I am actually using the service? But thanks to Josh who kept me on board a while longer. Next day I also got the good news from Yuno about the first Government €150 payment coming in before 15 December. Yay

I had to file a complaint as a last resort with Yuno energy. I was looking to switch from Energia to Yuno but when I told Energia why I was switching they gave me a better rate so I cancelled Yuno within the 14 day cooling off period. I had to ring on three separate occasions to ask for my money back and each time I was promised it would be returned within 5 days. After the third time and nearly a month later I filed a complaint and got my money back. I didn't get as much as a word of an apology. Worst experience I've had with any company. And this to me was simply not good enough.

Thought we were making an initial enquiry and now find that €126 was deducted from our account. The application was made last Monday and after some consideration we decided to stay with our existing provider. Now Yuno are now going to deduct charges for electricity used that they are guessing what I have used without having a current meter reading. Very disappointed indeed. Will await my refund.
