Awful customer service

Awful customer service, they started to take money from me on a day in the month that definitely didn’t suit me, refused to change the date. Took no responsibility for the mix up in dates, blamed me and the told me they will charge me €100 if I go to another provider. Avoid this bunch at all costs !

Yuno kept charging even after switching and bills were generated and still not able to resolve that issue and they debit money in advance and hard to get back the money

AVOID

AVOID - very unclear with payments I was unaware payment through card. My bills are double what I had paid with another company so disappointing. Poor customer service and trying to use webchat to no avail keep getting 'cut off'.

Good telephone response

Changed supplier to Yuno. The telesales person should slow down the explanation and remember people need time to write things down to get a good understanding of what their signing up for. Other the that, everyone was polite and helpful.

Poor savings given the advanced payment

The fact that you pay in advance for your electricity as opposed to 2 months after, means that the savings (which appear to be miniscule if any, as far as I can see so far) are not worth it frankly. Having our money 2 months ahead of when it would be due with competitors, should mean a much more significant discount. I also found a lot of the positive reviews on here a bit questionable.... so many people thanking Constance, Hannagh & Richard.... ask All seem to have been written by same person? May be wrong but seems unusual to see people singling out customer agents & same ones each time

Wouldn't recommend Yuno

signed up to Yuno, pay in advance billing very confusing, double normal cost of electricity paid in 6wks, explanation around billing also very confusing, impossible to leave them, trying for weeks and they won't close my account, unable to take payment details off my account.

Yuno more You better not.

I set up a fixed bill and when I received my bill it's registered as variable. It's a couple of months with no response, I have left messages on email and have had promises from customer support. Still two months on no help, bills more expensive than previous suppliers. The money goes out on time, they're no slouches in that dept. So far a horrible experience with this company, no wonder they make sure to squeeze more money off you for leaving early. Feels like a scammer company when trying to get your money back on a bogus item from abroad. Stay away from Yuno.

Yuno what you're gettin'

Very quick to reply in their live chat, smooth process signing up and very transparent payment and bill details. You will get more info if you have an ESB smart meter. Would just like to see a desktop app in the new year!

The customer service assistants are…

The customer service assistants are great. Constance is fabulous, she couldn’t have been more helpful, informative compassionate and kind, Yuno are so lucky to have her. She gets 5 stars unreservedly. The company however is getting a 3 star rating simply due to the fact I don’t have a smart metre so the initial predictive method they use was way off. Nov 8 I joined and paid upfront €63. The predicted bill 8 nov 22 Nov they estimated at €224 minus the €63 but then they add the forecast for December to pay upfront and the combined total for the 2 months was over €700… madness. They say it’s based on pass usage but m bills have never been anywhere close to that for two months. Had to leave as even with entering metre readings they wanted to see a few months of readings to get a true idea of my usage before altering the predictive usage.
