HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
I will never use Travelocity ever again. It was a total nightmare. We lost over $600 even though we bought travel insurance. Our trip had to be canceled because a hurricane hit where we were going the day we were to arrive. I have spent countless hours on customer service with people who can barely speak English. And in the end they refuse to reimburse us for the money lost. They even admitted that if we had booked the flights and hotel on our own that the airline and hotel policy would have fully reimbursed us but because we booked through Travelocity the policy is different. Unbelievable. We’re school teachers who saved up for our anniversary trip. So very disappointed and upset
ABSOLUTLY SCAM COMPANY Booked tickets to Miami over 1 1/2 year ago and the trip was cancelled due to Covid - still fighting them for a refund. Each time I call them - they tell me that the refund is there in 14 days!!! THATS 1 YEAR AGO!!
I made hotel reservations for two nights I made them for the wrong weekend called them as soon as knew the wrong weekend was booked was on hold for over 45 mins talked to three different people and they said they couldn't do anything I will never use them again. Please beware the suck.
Complete scam and customer service is a JOKE! Don’t EVER buy from them...hope the government gets involved and busts this scam company. Business practices are fraudulent!!
I booked a flight to New Orleans and had to return a day earlier due to the hurricane. Travelocity was of no help in doing so - you cannot get a person who understands English on the phone, and their web-based "virtual agent" line is useless - so I made another reservation directly with the airline. After approximatly 5 hours on line and 2 hours on the phone, I was told I would get a travel credit on my travelocity account for the unused portion of my flight. A week later, no refund. this could have taken two minutes if I had booked directly with the airline, which I will do in the future.
This isn't something I normally do because I like to keep things positive but this time I will make an exception...... DO NOT USE TRAVELOCITY!!! We booked a trip scheduled on July 8, 2021. As part of our package, we paid for transportation to the hotel from the airport. The transportation never showed up. We called Travelocity immediately and they told us to find another means of transportation and they would reimburse. Fast forward 2 months and I still have no refund. I am on the phone with a rep and she said they are waiting for a response from the company who was supposed to pick us up. I paid TRAVELOCITY for this service. Them getting a refund from the company that was supposed to provide my transportation is not my problem. This is the 3rd time I have called about this. I asked how long should I wait for you to hear from the 3rd party? 1 year, 2 years....and the rep said "I don't know mam". Unbelievable.
Gross Groeslon - Terror at the Ty Mawr Tearooms From the churlish male welcome to the black mould, damp, faulty water system and lack of heating, there really isn't anything positive to say about the stay here. In all my extensive international travelling I have never encountered such poor quality accommodation and lack of customer service. Chose not to eat breakfast due to the slovenly arrogant attitude of the male. Also upon returning from one of our days out our window had been left wide open, with all our possessions inside, next to a busy road. We can therefore only assume that any positive reviews are reflective of the accommodation in the main building, and not the chalet type rooms in which we stayed. Payment was made by us for the room as we felt genuinely sympathetic for the female owner of this business who obviously requires both staff and training in people skills.
I would give -5 stars if possible. Booked a room and cancelled 3 days in advance.. Travelocity said the cancellation was good BUT hotel would not allow and would keep my $167.. I called the hotel (Hampton Inn) the same day and the day after to explain what happened in case I had to file a dispute with my credit card. Sure enough the charge went through and I just got off the phone with hotel who said they WOULD refund all of my money as to them it looked like a “ no show” SO Travelocity never notified the hotel 😡 Beware and just book directly with the hotel group. No more third party deals
travelocity and a travel company made in the backyard , I bought a travel package to orlando , canceled my flight from Nj to Orlando , and not even told me , I had to buy another ticket at the last minute , and travelocity not an email me madaram, did not give any support to this site and as a scam, do not use this site, this site is a danger.
NEVER NEVER book through this or any other 3rd party!!!!! If the airline makes changes they simply tell you there’s nothing they can do! We currently have a flight booked through Travelocity in November with Delta. Delta has made five changes already to this flight. Now we cannot make our connecting flight and all Travelocity can do is say it looks fine on our end. If you cancel it all you can do is get a voucher still with the same persons name even if you would never use this airline again. Only book directly with the airline where you can make cancellations an actual changes! I put in three calls and there’s such a language barrier that it’s impossible to understand one cost 35 minutes and I got disconnected, the second 45 minutes disconnected the third just says there is no such thing as a manager nothing they can do!
Pire agence d voyage .. plusieurs annulation et changement .. et à chaque fois il me refuse l remboursement .. je ne recommande pas cette agence .. mauvaise expérience .
The worst company ever...Sold me two tickets during covid to Europe and neither one I could you but they promised a refund...that's funny a refund should be your money back, instead you have to go to the airlines you were supposed to fly with and fly the same route and pay the extra costs! I live in a different state and I'm not going back to my destination of before. But I cant use it in any other way....So I'm out $900 because they can
Never ended up going, we ad issues with check in times and the lack of on site staff so we ended up needing to cancel. When booked everything was very vague until we got the confirmation after the fact stating it was non refundable and check in was after 4 pm! We canceled and disputed it with Travelocity and they are basically keeping our money, reselling the room and make more money hand over fist. The are selling invisible equity it's disappointing and frankly terrible. I wouldn't use either EVER again, Travelocity or Americas Best Value Inn (what a joke I can hardly even type their hotel name.....
Worst travel experience I’ve ever had. I tried to change my return flight from Florida & they cancelled the entire flight! I paid for the insurance and they would only give me travel credit (that has to be used within 1 year of purchase) & I rarely travel on planes. I was able to speak with one of their representatives (in the Philippines) & she said that I had cancelled the flights. I told her that I just tried to amend my return flight & she could see the flight to Orlando was exactly the same! She said there was nothing she could do. I asked to speak with a manager & was told the same thing. I paid for 2 flights, $80 more for the second booking (+ $19.00 more for the insurance!), and I had to check my bag (I was only allowed a personal item!)! I will never use Travelocity again! BUYER BEWARE!!!
Absolutely horrible company. After purchasing the “cancellation insurance” over possible travel difficulty that may arise should Covid surge, I was basically left with absolutely nothing when that time came. The insurance was a complete scam, and Travelocity just had me on hold for 2 hours and ultimately said I was screwed. NEVER use these fraudulent horrible people to book your travel. Go through Costco.
Terrible experience with Travelocity. I attempted to book a flight using a credit from a canceled flight. I thought all was well until suddenly I saw that the flight had been canceled (something that I never requested). I attempted to contact them and waited... and waited... and waited... Finally, I gave up. When I returned to try again, I discovered that the canceled flight credit hadn't been restored to my account. Instead, it had been wiped out, along with any record of a canceled flight! When I tried to contact them again, it said that the wait time was 5-6 minutes. It also says that if you leave this page, you could lose your place in line. It's been 30 minutes (so far) and counting. They wear you down until you quit in disgust. Don't do business with Travelocity. They suck!
Horrible don’t waste your time or money because that’s all they did to me and my father in law they took his money and both the hotel and the car rental would not give him what he paid for I spoke to 5 agents just to get a refund the hotel that he booked under this company was Rude and unprofessional and also not only did he have no car but he had no where to sleep because the company he purchased from wouldint give him the car or hotel until they tried to scam him again to try and pay. Absolutely horrible.
Our stay at the Victorian Jeremiah Mason House in Limerick, Maine was delightful from start to finish. Valerie could not have been more friendly and helpful, the room had every amenity, and breakfast was great. Not much doing in Limerick at this time, but a great hopping off point for New Hampshire and Maine
Travelocity is not providing an honest and clear booking deals. They seem to misguiding people by bookings with lower amount than real prices. They are not giving you any detailed information about the original booking via email or text, so you cannot prove that you were overcharged.
