I've been booking my flights with Southall Travel for over 20 years now, and they've always delivered great service. This time, I worked with Norman, and I have to say – he was absolutely brilliant. I had quite a few changes and back&forth with my travel plans, but ahndled well. Just wanted to say a big thank you to Norman & team.
Vandana is an excellent travel Consultant. She has always dealt with our requests in a very prompt, timely and most effective way. She has always been polite and understanding of our flexibility in booking tickets. She is an absolute asset to the Southall team well done well Vandana.
I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the service I received from Southall Travel regarding a trip I booked with them back in November. I informed them within the next couple of months that I would have to cancel. I paid £1000 deposit and did not get a penny back for it they were very unprofessional when I asked them to help me out in someway for me to use the deposit on another flight but they were asking for a ridiculous amount of money on top. I chose this company based on their reputation for excellent customer service and well-planned itenary. I suggest you handle complaints from customers better and offer appropriate solutions!
Overall my experience with Southall travel was highly unsatisfactory I expected a much higher level of service given the reputation and price point of your Agency.
Buyer beware! I booked what I thought were the cheapest business class tickets for an Air India flight, only to find at the point of departure that it was a Vistara aircraft. Why does this matter? Firstly, I was not given the opportunity to make an informed choice because the sales person (who I’m choosing not to name publicly) at no point mentioned it was a Vistara aircraft. Secondly, I was travelling with a seriously disabled relative who found the Vistara business class seats to be significantly smaller than an Air India aircraft, which limited her mobility, the flight attendants were unhelpful (for example, they did not provide landing cards so all non-resident Indians were delayed on landing), and the wheelchair provision was delayed and careless about our short transfer window. All this could have been avoided if Southall Travel had been honest about what tickets we were buying. I would not recommend using Southall Travel to anyone.
Naina has been fantastic at helping us to plan our first trip to India! She is knowledgeable and has made suggestions to make the most of our time on our trip. I would not hesitate recommending Southall travel and especially Naina! Thank you Naina - looking forward to our holiday x
We booked a flight to Goa for January 2025, we booked the flight in September 2024, we paid a £600 deposit, unfortunately my wife has had to have an operation in January so we asked if we could move our flight, Southall said yes but it must be 12 months from time of booking, that was fine, we contacted them to book a flight for late April, they found one for us and when we went to pay they said we had to pay up the balance of the original flight and pay full price for the new flight, in effect we lost our deposit, i could not understand why, wanted to speak to a supervisor and he tried to explain to us that we were not losing the deposit, i cant understand how!! i will be taking this further seeking legal advice and using social media to see if there are others with the same issue.
Absolutely disgusted with Southall Travel. We book with them all the time but this time they've really disappointed us. We booked 3 passengers with 3 luggage to Budapest firstly we were charged for our hand luggage at the airport as it was not in the system that this was included. We were then stranded at Budapest airport after our delated flight late at night with a child in the cold as Southall travel booked a small car. We had been dealing with Samrat who I've emailed continuously since then but he has not bothered to respond. I spoke to Samrat whilst I was stranded and he advised to book a taxi and send him the receipt to reimburse us. I've sent him the details yet no response. We have a carbooked for our return today yet again it's a small car booked for us so the car will not accommodate us. Samrat and Southall Travel need to sort this out with us so we can get back and also be reimbursed for payments we did not have to make!!!
Worst company to deal with, full of lies. They are holding seats under my name and I am not allowed to book with any other companies. This is discussing!!
i am very impressed by Harleen, she has given excellent service while booking my seats for kenya. she offer ed all options and even confirmed seats late at 9 pm .
