Certificate was not generated alongside my test results. Also it seems that this company doesn’t sell tests anymore; my guess is their platform (and customer service) will steadily decline from here. Just another company trying to make a quick buck from the pandemic.

Economy Covid Self test kit

In some places Covid Self test kit costs around £15, how ever the kits which I got it from Now Test was for £5, its easy to use and with self explanatory instructions.

Unprofessional Behaviour

Exactly the same experience as most others. Absolutely zero communication and delayed day 8 tests. Had to arrange another provider because we couldn’t sit in quarantine not knowing when the kits would arrive. Day 8 kits were never received by the time we left quarantine after Day 10. Just had a pathetic response from NowTest today, 17 days after leaving quarantine saying delays are beyond their control and there would be NO Refund! Communications are completely under their control and their failure to respond to emails in a timely manner is inexcusable. Stay completely away from NowTest - appallingly unprofessional and untrustworthy, unless you’re prepared to lose your money and incur significant costs staying longer in quarantine. The fact they they are on the UK Government’s list of approved providers is equally galling. How did they manage that? Quite topical these days.

Two sets of instructions sent with the…

Two sets of instructions sent with the first test and one of them was wrong/not clear at all. Second test turned up a day late and I've still had no results over two weeks after my quarantine period has finished. Absolute rip off and unbelievable that the government is forcing people to use companies like this.

Massive scam

Massive scam. Didn’t not receive results until literally a week after they claimed they would provide them. Because of this, the service is useless and thus I paid for nothing. Meaning the company scams you into buying it’s tests and then claims it was unable to provide results due to an ‘overwhelming’ number of tests. They only DO NOT admit failure and issue refunds. Despicable.

More advice of taking action

We need to stop these scammers so the more people that complain, the bigger our chance to recover our money! On top of all the useful tips some people have already offered here, here's what Citizens Advice told me to do: find their postal address, send them a letter (better with a track & sign for service or any service requesting their signature upon delivery), claim a full refund for breaching their contract (state reasons), request to know what their complaint process is and demand a reply within 7-14 days. The actual name of the company is THEAPPCOMPANY LTD and their postal address is 20-22 WENLOCK ROAD, ENGLAND, LONDON, N1 7GU. If you send them a letter, please keep a copy for your own records. We should all fight to get our money back from these scammers!

Gross profiteering

Day 2 and 8 tests arrived late (on day 11 instead of 8 for instance) results are being given in 72 hours if you are lucky. No way to call them, emails are being answered within a week...or 2. To AVOID! No need to ask for more info from me as you refused any refund and very kindly explained to me by email that turnaround times were not guaranteed. Well thank you! Lesson well learned and how professional of you to sell day 2-8 tests when clients do not get the final result until day 14!!!

Avoid this company.

Did not receive Day 2 results until day 21. Day 8 test arrived late and result not sent until day 15. Finally got an email today from them today. I have been refused a refund as they claim “ Our website does state that turnaround times are not guaranteed.” Apparently a three week delay is perfectly acceptable under their terms and conditions. Avoid these scammers. Wish Trustpilot had a NO STARS option. Update: Had a further email today 13/3/21 claiming that they are not a scam company and asking me to revise my review as they were apparently beset with problems beyond their control. Doesn’t change the fact that they take money for a service that is time sensitive and fail to deliver it in a timely fashion, to the point where the results are pointless as they arrived well past the quarantine period. So, not scammers, just useless then. Avoid this company.

The tests and results on time

The tests and results come in time. Use the application from their website: app.nowtest.com -> Results (on the bottom). The application from App Store is not working. They always answer you by mail.

Good service

Very happy with the Home test kit, clear instructions, day 2 and day 8 arrived on time, day 2 results arrived quickly. Day 8 results arrived 18 hours later than expected but overall a good service especially considering the price of the kit which is below average

Zero star rating, appalling service

I had to leave 1 star but only deserve Zero star, poor customer service. Late with day 2 test and result and on day 11 still have not got my results of day 8 test. Scandalous bearing in mind the amount of money they charge and all endorsed by the government. To add insult to injury because the service was “only” 1 day late , in their eyes that is still a good service so no refund. Who wants to stay 2 days more in quarantine? Results arrived on day 12!!! Appalling,
