Unclear additional charges

My delivery to a business address was tried to be delivered after business hours which was not clearly mentioned that deliveries may happen after hours pre-purchase and was slapped with additional delivery charge of $50 which again was not clearly mentioned pre-purchase. Still awaiting delivery after 2 weeks since purchase at the time of this rating.

Scam company - not processing order but charging CC

Last week, I attempted to purchase 6 bottles of wine from this site. The order kept failing at the payment stage with no explanation. I got no order confirmation. A few days later, I found two charges from this company on my CC account. I contacted them to reverse the charges, claiming that no order ever went through. They claimed they couldn't reverse the charges because ... there was no order they could locate. The irony of this and the balls of this company to turn the problem I am reporting into an excuse for literally stealing my money!

Horrible customer service

I ordered a birthday basket but cut and paste the delivery address with one number short. The package wasn't delivered and when I asked them to change the address, they told me to contact the courier company myself. It was out of their hands. Courier was closed all weekend. They also said I would have to pick up the package from the courier company. It was a birthday present for a 75 woman who requires oxygen and cannot drive a car. They said I could not cancel the order and they would not give me a refund. I only wanted the address corrected and shipped. They refused to help at all. Absolutely worst customer service I received in years. Hope you have no problems with your order if you do choose to work with them.

Delivered to an address I did not supply

The company sent my hamper to an address I did not supply. I showed them proof via screenshots of the correct address I sent them and the incorect one they gave to UPS. They told me they would do nothing to fix this and took no reposibility. I have now been charged for a product I will never recive. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Scam company - no delivery, no refund.

I paid for a hamper which was not delivered to the recipient. After confirming with the courier it was delivered to the incorrect address (not lost or stolen), and therefore Hazleton's would have to claim in order for them to process a refund to myself, I informed Hazleton's. However, they refuse to do anything about it, will not speak to the courier, nor will they honor their terms of service. They have firmly stated in no way will I have a refund, despite the claim option with the courier being available to them.

Ordered a gift basket to be delivered…

Ordered a gift basket to be delivered to a friend in the hospital. Per Courier it was delivered but no one has seen this basket. Tried to call Hazleton's to see if they could assist and as others have said there's no way to get to a live rep but left voice mail with order # as instructed and no reply after leaving two messages over several days. After leaving a review after they sent an email requesting one THEN I finally get a response only to be told that if the goods are lost or stolen it's my problem not theirs. Even though that was never communicated up front and they select the courier company. Please do not waste your money dealing with these people.

Very disappointed with their service…

Very disappointed with their service this time around. I ordered a cake from them for a birthday celebration but instead I received cookies and muffins. When I complained they showed me their policy where it states that when they don't have the products they replace it with similar ones. However, cookies and muffins are far from being similar. Never ordering from them again!

Very disappointed

Very disappointed, delivery person even didn’t rang the bell… I ordered pumpkin pie but I got apple pie I picked different balloon I didn’t understand one thing about you guys, when you don’t have something why you have on website and who gave authority to change order which I had paid… I was very specific about pumpkin pie Customer service was worst, they don’t have any information Worst service ever

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS TERRIBLE…

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS TERRIBLE COMPANY!! Ordered apple pie as a gift for my friend and he received a half smashed Pecan pie. I also ordered coffee in the basket and they sent a box of crackers instead. The box that the basket came in was not elegant either. I spent over $100 for this gift. It was embarrassing, How on earth is this company in business?

Don’t order from here !

Terrible company. I ordered a hamper for my friends wedding. It wasn’t cheap and arrived broken (wine glass and cheese board) smashed.I was told a refund would be processed if I showed photos. So embarrassingly I asked the couple to take pictures as I really wanted to replace the gift for them. I have since only been offered a refund of 25 dollars. I can’t rebut the gift with this and the married couple are left to enjoy their cheap champagne with one glass. Customer service was appalling and you can’t get through on the phone. A shocking company in this day and age stealing peoples money. Do yourself a favour and avoid at all costs !!!

NEVER ORDER FROM THIS DISGUSTING JOKE OF A COMPANY

I am absolutely disgusted & appalled by this company. I ordered a cheesecake for my boyfriend and the state it arrived in (after FIVE days unrefrigerated) was appalling. Squished and misshapen. They forgot the card as well - not that it mattered at that point considering what he received was complete garbage. I seriously have never experienced such HORRIBLE service. Emailed and of course they refused me a refund. Why is this company even still in business?!! Do us all a favour and close Hazeltons. There’s a special place in hell for scammers like you.

Stay away from this company

Stay away from this company. This company is a scam. Do not use them. They never delivered a gift basket, refused to refund my money, then when they realized their delivery person never delivered the gift basket, they offered me store credit, but only if I buy more merchandise. What??? They lied to my credit card company when I disputed the charge. They also have an F rating from the better business bureau.

Delivery Policy

I placed an order with instructions that my gift was being delivered to a school with the hours of operation in which someone would be able to receive the gift. The gift was delivered after school hours with no one able to receive it. I was told that I would have to pay a 20% redelivery free with no guarantee that it would be delivered during the hours of operation(which I had clearly stated). I was also told that I had the option of receiving a refund with a 40% deduction for a restocking fee. Had I been contacted prior to delivery and informed that the delivery would not be possible with the operating hours of the school, I could have made arrangements. I was only able to contact the company view email- The customer service manager was not empathetic to the fact that this was a school delivery. When I asked to speak to someone above him. I was told that there is no phone number that could be shared to contact a representative. The customer service manger informed me that he could not share a mailing address or email, so I could speak their supervisor. A stressful and anxiety filled experience, with a special person not receiving their end of year gift.

Update on my hazeltons Canada…

Update on my hazeltons Canada experience….. though they refused to answer any of the questions about the quality of the product , or the company’s standards for delivery of the product …… and refused to give any refund ( fruit was mouldy and over ripe …. Was in transit for 5 days from west coast bc ?to Saskatchewan ) ….. I paid via PayPal ….. and filed a grievance with them ……. I won my case , and was awarded the refund ……. I was only asking for 35 dollars …… to be honest I should of asked for a lot more ….. but I just wanted a small compensation for the poor quality , and to be treated as a valued customer , a little respect , a simple sorry about your experience……… but they refused …. They lost a paying customer, they lost any potential customers from family , friends , recommendations, they possibly lose customers who might read my reviews on sites ….. and I get my small refund anyway …… way to go hazeltons ……

Worst service

Worst service, won't recommend to anyone They just drop the parcel anywhere, without any confirmation or with the consent of the receiver They will take you money, and will never deliver the product They just made day, worst couldn't expect any thing worse than this !! Complete disappointment

I am beyond disappointed with the order let alone the customer service. I have never experienced such disappointed in the many years I have placed orders with different companies over the years. We ordered a basket for our father for father's day and added 2 extra cheeses as it came with brie cheese and we knew it was not his favourite. The basket arrived and they sent 2 brie cheese and another similar to brie. When reaching out to customer service not only do you not get to speak to a person and it all needs to be on email they refused to rectify the problem in any form and fall back on the policy of being able to switch out items without notice. This is the worst customer service I have experienced. My excitement for this company and using them in future is shattered as I definitely will not be doing so. Please fellow Canadians use at own risk especially if you pay extra for certain items.

This does not even rated as 1 star. Beware of the company that has this statement in their policy. There are a lot of them operates this bad practice. These companies are scammers. They also add their own fake reviews to make customers believe. "Substitution Policy For a variety of reasons, we will occasionally run out of a specific item. While this situation does not occur often, we reserve the right to substitute an item of equal or greater value in our product."

Horrible company

Horrible! The strawberries came bruised and mushy and the chocolate was melted and broken in spots, and the company didn’t care because they claim the picture looks like it would when shipped from the warehouse? I sent a picture which clearly shows broken chocolate pieces and strawberries that are bruised.

AVOID

AVOID! This is a horrible company. I ordered the beer tasting kit for my husband. And I got different products than advertised. The kit showed 4 different beer glasses. I received 4 regular drinking glasses that were all the same cheap crap. When I contacted support, they said that happens and it's in their substitution policy. Also, they said that they don't contact customers ahead of time because of their large volume of orders. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. HORRIBLE COMPANY. Stay away and order from somewhere else!

Worst customer service ever!

Worst customer service ever! I ordered the Gourmet Grandeur Wine Gift Basket, with added liquor, 2 fancy cheeses, fruit and snacks. The basket wasn't delivered, my client had to pick it up! The basket was missing items that were part of the basic basket. Many of the upgraded items were completely missing or replaced with cheap alternatives. I went through the proper channels to lodge a complaint. Sent pictures (which was embressing to ask from the client) and after being told the company can put what ever they want, I asked to speak with a supervisor. Eventually the company stopped replying to my emails and god forbid I actually could get someone to answer the phone. It was a total waste of 300.00. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY PEOPLE
