If there was a zero stars, this company would receive that. I ordered the basket on Thursday night with the wrong shipment. Never realizing that the shipping rate was more than the basket (shipping was $104 and the basket $89). I immediately attempted to cancel the order, there was no option and customer service was closed. I sent an email directly following and called the next morning at the exact time customer service opens, 9am ET. And was told that I could receive credit for the order but she will need to speak with the manager and then comes back on the phone to tell me there is nothing she can do but the manager will email me. She promised me that I’d receive a response. I never received a response. 4 emails, 3 phone calls, no help. I hope your company shuts down. Do not order from them.

I expect the positive reviews found on…

I expect the positive reviews found on other sites are also fraudulent. The business model of this company is to sell products shown in a photo (the website is gorgeous) and "substitute" poor quality items as per the terms you "agreed" to in their substitution policy. This is illegal and fraudulent. You can see the marketplace documentary on CBC about this company. This is my personal experience ( I did not research before hand)

If I could leave a 0 star review, I would. I should've read the reviews before ordering. Didn't send what we ordered, substituted it for something random. The random items were old and moldy. They won't refund us.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY, my parents ordered A hamper from the Uk for our 25th anniversary. It arrived late, the flowers were crushed and half dead, several items were crushed. It turns out several items were missing from the order as well! When I tried to contact the company to complain I was sent an obvious standard reply “not our problem” I think it’s absolutely disgusting that especially at this time a company would take people’s hard earned money and deliver such an appalling service. Please do not use this company or you will be sorely disappointed.

I recently ordered what I thought was a beautiful gift for my in laws 65 th anniversary. I paid over $80 dollars for shipping and to my dismay the cupcakes were mush. I complained and I was told that they are not responsible for the mushed cupcakes. It was extremely disappointing to have a special gift for a special occasion be such a flop. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. Their product and service is over priced and extremely poor.

Company is a scam. Stay away

This was one of the worst experiences ever. I bought a tray of chocolate covered fruit for a friend. Without notifying me the company changed my order and sent chocolates instead (that were a horrible quality and visually unappealing). Not only did my friend receive a different item, but it took SO long for the item to arrive. After reaching out to the company they told me that they changed my order because they knew the fruit would take too long to arrive and would be rotten. I should have had the opportunity to select another product myself if Hazelton’s had no intention of sending me the product that I selected (and had no intention of delivering it on time). The company is a huge scam - everyone knows that chocolate covered fruit is a pricier option than chocolates but they take people’s money for a product that they never had an intention of sending.

Ordered Thanksgiving gifts for an important friend. It's two days past Thanksgiving and the gifts are still nowhere to find. My friend have to check up with her reception twice a day...so disappointing.

Awful experience!

Awful experience!! The cake broke in pieces inside the basket and the balloons were missing. The whole basket was ruined and no refund or replacement. Very Bad costumer service. DON"T BUY FROM THEM

RUN AWAY !!! Criminal experience

RUN AWAY These people have NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, they are DISHONEST, THEY MISREPRESENT the products, (not a single product was what I ordered). THEY RUINED MY GIFT FOR A MILESTONE BIRTHDAY, I was so embarrassed, and felt like I sent something to show how much I didn't care.one of the "highlites" was THE GOURMET COFFEE BASKET HAD NO COFFEE!!! (but the Christmas hot chocolate was a "reasonable substite" for a July birthday).--IF I COULD GIVE THEM NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD. I hated every part of my experience-- except finding Pacific Basket Co. that delivers all over North America and is amazing, honest and the real deal-truly beautiful baskets. Hazelton's was the worst retail/online/deliver experience of my life...they should be shut down- beyond a waste of money -this was theft and misrepresentation.

Scandalous!!

Well - my order is already late. Supposed to be delivered to my daughter in Singapore on Monday 5th October for her birthday. I chased up with Hazeltons next day. They have just come back to me today Thursday to say it was delivered on Tuesday 6th October. My daughter definitely hasn't received it. It was a lot of money to me so I guess it's pointless asking for a refund after reading all these reviews. I have asked for proof of delivery to try to find out who they've actually delivered it to but I won't hold my breath. Terrible company.

Crushed to crumbles

0 customer service and down right crooks. My ordered was missing balloons and chocolate that I paid for. The cake that got delivered was absolutely crushed to crumbles. If you call the 800 number, no one answers. If you email, you get a form letter reply that basic says: FU.

In light of all the terrible reviews

In light of all the terrible reviews, I thought I would share my experience. I selected a very close delivery date, and it was delivered on time. The basket itself was exactly as advertised, beautiful, with a bow. My friend loved it so much and so do I. I would order again.

Do NOT order from this company!!!

Do NOT order from this company!!! They will not deliver what is posted in their pictures! I ordered a $100 basket with chocolate covered strawberries and champagne. Paid extra for a balloon and It is so embarrassing what my daughter received as a gift from Her parents! She got the basket several days late, instead of chocolate covered strawberries they sent 3 chocolate bars from the dollar general worth $1.25 each, instead of champagne they sent a wine bottle that costos $10. The basket was broken, and no Balloon. Worse customer service! They hang up on you and don’t take any responsibility. I wish I would have read all this reviews before ordering from them. They Are Scammers.

Shock and furiously angry

I am so frustrated and stressed on my experience with this company, this is fake and a scam. I ordered BBQ Set with cake thinking my husband will be surprised for his birthday as he lived in the states and I’m in Australia it has been 1 week that he supposed to get his gift but he just got it today, its supposed to be surprised but not anymore because it’s been taking too long so I told him when he received it take a videos while the driver infront of him, when he opened it is nothing like what I asked for, inside it was a hard rock chocolate brownies but that’s not what I ordered I ordered birthday cake with written on top which I paid extra for the writing, the tray was all smashed. The bbq set supposed to be in a metal case but was put on just in a bag, I paid extra for a birthday card but wasn’t even on there. Just wanted to say how furious I am and regret that I spend an expensive amount of money for nothing. Sincerely Down under Australia 🇦🇺

NO customer Service Whatsoever!

I placed an order for some wine to be delivered to a bunch of people that I work with. I painstakingly put in all the information and placed the order. I got back a $0 invoice/receipt. When I emailed them to ask, someone responded and said that there was a system error but the orders were recorded and they would deduct the money from the credit card. I then emailed back to that person to ask for a proper invoice showing the full amount being charged. I emailed several times with no response. I have NEVER been able to speak to anyone on the phone and I have sent in several "tickets" as well and get an email saying it has been received and someone will call me back but have not heard anything from anyone! Thankfully all my people received their wine but now I have a credit card payment for my boss that cannot be reimbursed because we have no receipt... I am EXTREMELY disappointed - this place doesn't even deserve the one star. The only reason I gave that is because the people did indeed get their wine.

This is one of the worst companies I know.

This is one of the worst companies ever. Avoid at all costs! My family from outside Canada sent me a birthday package to BC that was supposed to arrive on a Thursday. Instead, it arrived at the Tue. after. The package included a balloon that was already deflated, bouquet of flowers that were partly wilted, the wrong gift basket , and a cake that was in the usual cardboard cake box on its side with a tissue in a zip lock that we assume was frozen to keep the cake cold. The cake was messed up outside and moldy inside. From the gift basket my family ordered everything is different and the items are not even in the website, from the basket, cheeses options,even the birthday balloon is not the one my family ordered. In the order they choose to write a birthday card what I did not receive either. I think most of the good reviews here are from Ontario. This company should either limit delivery to Ontario only or, better yet, shut down! I am blown away that the Health Authorities haven't shut this company down due with the WORST food handling, poor customer service and complaints to the BBB. Just wondering after been reading so many complaints online, how can I sue this company and make them close down to avoid more trouble to possible future costumers. If all the company´s victims we could get together , I think we could shut down this place.

HORRIFIC!

So... let’s start with the fact that my gift basket didn’t even come with a... BASKET. Then, it was a day late, which I had to push to find out any information about at all. Luckily, there was a nice customer service representative who helped me as much as he could. Anyhow, it came late. So then, it finally shows up. It seemed fine at first, but when the recipient opened the box, she noticed how the cupcake box was tipped to the side, so we were already worried. We continued opening it, and most of it was fine... except there wasn’t even a basket? I was quite embarrassed that I’d sent a gift basket with no basket. So she took the stuff out and we got to the end and there were a NUMBER of things missing. Considering the gourmet food items were $40 of the whole $100 you’d expect much more, and of course I did because 4 things I had selected just weren’t there. Ok... let’s move onto the cupcakes. Wow. This was shocking. When the recipient opened the box, the cupcakes were destroyed, completely destroyed. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. Do not recommend.
