Restaurant recommended not to use delivery.com

Can’t believe I even gave them another shot. I was just trying to use my credit from the last time they messed up my order. Daughter wanted sushi for her birthday lunch. Had a future order in and they cancelled it an hour before. They said “the market was closed” after I calling them I found out it means they had a shortage of drivers. I reorder from the restaurant and they told me to never use delivery.com, use DoorDash or Grubhub instead.

Atrocious service

Atrocious service. 2 hours to get fast food, food arrived cold and soggy, had to call customer service twice, no apologies given. Will never use them again

If I could give no stars

If I could give no stars, I would. I had made an order at 5pm on a Saturday for 6:30 delivery because I was hosting a party. I tracked my order and everything was going great until about 5:45, when my driver stopped moving. I thought it was a glitch. I gave it until 7:15 when I reached out to delivery.com support and they said, “your driver is on the way with your order,” but the tracking did not show the driver moving at all. I then called the restaurant and asked if an order had been placed and listed the items. The restaurant said it had not received an order with those items and stated, “we tell people to stay away from Delivery.com.” At this time, it was 7:30 so I decided to place my order with the restaurant and told my guests I would have to go pick up our meal in about 45 minutes. I then immediatelychatted with Delivery.com and asked them to cancel my order. They stated, “we can’t the order has already been placed.” I told them that I wanted it canceled because I already placed another order. I picked up my order and got home around 8:45 and saw food on my doorstep from Delivery.com. The receipt was attached with the time ordered listed at 7:39...about 10 minutes after I asked Delivery.com to cancel the order. Since no one was expecting the food, it had been waiting on my doorstep. The food was cold and I had to throw about half of it away. I asked for a refund and Delivery.com stated they would give me a $10 credit. I don’t want a credit I am never going to use. So, they said they would reach out to management. I have emailed them three more times (1 time a week) and each time, “I am so sorry. We will have someone get back with you in 48 hours.” It has now been a month. If they were registered with the BBB, I would submit a complaint.

Had to leave one star could not leave…

Had to leave one star could not leave zero. Placed and order received a confirmation email, account was hit then received a call that no driver was available so my order had to be canceled. After a text message return I called and said the text said I was sent and email and I had not received it. Took a few minutes finally got one sent. Took my knee instantly and will return it in less that 5 days. Will never never place an order for this company to deliver again. NEVER

If i could give them no starts i would

If i could give them no starts i would. Ordered food. After 2 hours no food. Called and they said it would be another 30-45 min. Operator wouldn't let me talk. Kept trying to over talk me. Rude and incompetent. NEVER USE THERE SERVICE!!

Flagged by fraud department every single time I order

This is not going to be a review about how long I have to wait for food, or about the restaurants or drivers. Stuff happens, we all know that. As you sift through a sea of Karens all-capping and screaming, I hope you find my review and read about my experience. We have been using delivery.com and another delivery service to deliver food since the pandemic started. There are only 2 services available, so we alternated based on which restaurant was on which platform. We ordered about 3 meals per week, all delivered to our home address, and all paid for with the same credit card each time. I always tip at least $5 or 20%, whichever is more. We ask that food be left on the porch. Easiest customer ever. Now to the nightmare. About a month ago, after placing an order for Thai food, I wonder why it's taking so long and check my delivery status. It says my order has been canceled. My account deactivated. The "fraud" department was flagged. I immediately email customer service and was told they would review my appeal. An hour later I receive an email stating they were sticking with their original decision. So I called the phone number. The rep told me they would send another appeal. A day later, they reactivated my account and issued me a $5 credit. A few days later, we order Thai food from the same restaurant again. Once again, my order is canceled and my account deactivated by the fraud department. Once again, I appealed and once again they granted my appeal and reactivated my account with another $5 credit. So herein lies the problem. I can no longer use this service. As soon as I order, I'm flagged and deactivated. It really doesn't matter if they change their mind upon appeal, since I can neveral actually get any food. I find it preposterous that I would constantly have to "appeal my case" to a "fraud department" when I've done absolutely nothing wrong and am a paying customer! Why would I fight to spend money with this company? That doesn't make any damn sense. And so now I will place my food orders with the competition. If you don't want my business, I'm surely not going to beg you to take it.

Worst delivery service ever

Worst delivery service ever. This was a 2nd chance order, the first time I used them they messed up and took forever. This time, ordered from Applebee's at 11:59 for ASAP delivery. It is now 1:40 and we still haven't gotten our order. I called at 1 to cancel, the Rep told me it would be arriving in 20 minutes, which of course has come and gone. I just called again, and they say delivery time is 2:01. THAT IS 2 HOURS. UNREAL. We will NEVER EVER use this service again, and that is too bad, we do lunch delivery at least twice a week.

Afraid for my safety

Afraid for my safety! I usually do not do this and am very big about benefit of the doubt. But now that peace of mind has been taken and do not want it to happen to anyone else. The driver was very rude and unprofessional my order was picked up at 8:14pm I did not receive it until 9:15pm contacted the service said 8 minutes. 30 minutes later still no order. So you backed up that's fine but now over an hour my food has been sitting in your car. It was cold and soggy and unreheatable. Not only that the driver scoffed at me, didn't say a word just the scoff, squealed her tires as she sped the slammed on the brakes out in front of my house, then just sat there at the stop sign for awhile didn't leave until I took a picture to send. Now this person knows my address and I have kids. So my peace of mind has been taken worried about the safety of my family and concerned about my vehicles. Not only is that how the company has represented itself but that of the restaurant they have delivered for. How dare you steal that from me and home. Watch out for them as I will never use again and head you to use extreme caution.

Worst customer service

Worst customer service. I called and was told it was a glitch that it scheduled my delivery for the next day. They said they fixed it. Almost 2.5 hours later I am getting my food or so they say....it is on the way....Don't waste your time with this company.

Ordered once took 2 hours from a place up the street. They gave me $10. Gave them the benefit of the doubt but happened the second time too. 2 hours to get food from up the street, I’d have been quicker walking.

I ordered food from a place a mile away because I'm disabled and can't drive. They changed the delivery time four times and the driver once, and the food didn't show up until 2 hour after I ordered. It would have been faster to wheel myself down there in my freaking wheelchair!

I ordered using Delivery.com BAD IDEA !!!!!!!!

I ordered using delivery.com only twice, like 7 years ago; BAD experience! So naturally, as a paying customer I stopped and began using some other Superior Delivery Service to get the job done. Recently moved and decided to give delivery.com another shot as there were items available for delivery near me needed. 1st time store rep was nasty, and then the order took FOREVER despite a way shorter ETA quote. I reluctantly let it go because of needing the items. 2nd time (same merchant) I paid for an item but received a significantly smaller size than what was PAID for and the order again was significantly late despite time quote given. Again (in hindsight), stupidly, I let it go; not even requesting the refund of the difference; figured it was petty. 3rd time (because of needing the essential household items), I ordered again from this same merchant on Delivery.com I know I know but listen... This time I had it!!!!! An hour and a half passed, order never came, called delivery.com customer service ( I figured hey there will a professional on the other end of the line to help!) Noooope. Delivery.com rep goes delivery attempt was made. Go check your front door. Checked, nothing. Called back, placed on, told to hold on they will call merchant store. Ok. 15 minute wait. Back on the line. 20-30 ETA quote given. Ok cool! .... NOooooPE. -___- Another hour passes no delivery that I paid for. So I call the merchant directly this time. Unprofessionalism from the jump, but the worst was Merchant rep named "Jigger", (yup that's what he said his name was when I asked) from "Village Farm and Grocery" store : [ NEVER SHOP FROM THERE UNLESS YOU LIKE BEING ROBBED AND YELLED AT] { Check the other reviews }!!!!!!!! ), ... He says, Delivery guy called the wrong number and brought order back to the store, we'll redeliver it to you but you have to pay, when i explainied how unfair that was after everything he continued to haggle with me over who pays the delivery fee. The customer is never right apparently with this business , they only want to take your money. After hanging up the phone on me and me having to call back twice I was told by a confused woman who spoke English as a second or third language that they cancelled the order. Delivery.com was no help in this; I called them four times and all they did was tell me information I already knew. Huh ...Looong Siiiigggghhhhh Please! Save yourself a delivery NIGHTMARE and YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY (especially in these uncertain times) and definitely opt for a better Delivery Services like the popular UberEats, GrubHub.com, DoorDash etc. Disclaimer: I'm not a bad review giver as a matter of fact this is my 1st one but it HAD TO BE SAID. These people are swindlers they definitely are unprofessional and money-seeking as opposed to conducting fair business and taking care of their customers. That is all. hmm! Stay safe out there.

delivery took 2 hours...came cold

I ordered something to be delivered at 11:45, it has been over an hour and it is still not even prepared. I have contacted the company and they keep giving me the same response that it will be there soon. It is currently 1pm, and my driver has not even gotten to the restaurant. This company is not worth it, I should have just picked it up myself and saved some money. Just got my oder 5 minutes shy from two hours later and of course my pizza is cold.

If only I could give half a star

This is an awful and highly unprofessional company. I did not receive my correct order that was an 20 mins late passed the delivery time. I called to check on my order and I was told by customer service worker thah it was on it's way and to call back if anything was wrong with it since it was already late. My delivery driver did not have a mask on and sent tracking messages that was untrue. A message said he was "around the corner" and to "get ready" and I still didn't recieve my food until 15 mins later. When I checked my food my order was incorrect. I had a sandwich I couldn't eat and paid for a large side item and got a regular size. When I called the customer service line I was held on the line for 30 mins, during which I was laughed at by the worker, and was told I never paid for an additional side order. I asked to be escalated and to speak with a supervisor and he was unable to get me connected. He attempted twice and came back to tell me I would get a refund for my item. Which is what I had called for and explained over and over again, only to have wasted 30 mins on the phone and still not be able to eat my food. I feel disrespected, hungry, and HIGHLY upset at how I was treated. Will NOT be using delivery.com. I made sure to refuse a credit because $10 would've only paid for the delivery fees and FORCED tip. Wow

Never again will I use this app

Never again will I use this app. When I place the order at first it said 40 minutes for delivery. Once I paid I got a confirmation that the delivery will not arrive for 2 hours. After 2 hours I contact customer service. By the time they finally responded it's been two and a half hours and still haven't received my food they offered me a miserable $5 coupon for my next order. $5 coupon for a two and a half hour wait and still haven't received my food. I never had this problem with any other delivery app
