1 star because I had to leave something. I have used these people 4 other times, but tonight was a nightmare. Ordered food at 4:41 pm. At 6:04 I called to see where my food was. Put in hold 10 minutes layer was told it would be here in 20 minutes. Called restaurant at 6:18 to see how long the food had been ready for pickup. It had been waiting 45 minutes!! Called back delivery.com, couldn't do anything until food was delivered. An hour later my food arrived cold,soggy and unedible. All they wanted to do was credit the account linked to delivery.com 10 dollars. That's it. I spent 53 dollars on food I had to throw out. He said he had to talk to a supervisor to refund my money and he would call me back. Still waiting. Do not use these crooks!
Ordered a 4-piece chicken dinner and requested "all legs" which are the cheapest piece of meat, so really shouldn't have been a problem. Get a text message stating, "That do all dark neat". Not sure what that's supposed to mean, but I replied stating that I wanted to cancel the dinner, and order 4 drumsticks a la carte plus a large mashed potato and gravy. This was evidently too difficult for the person to comprehend. Requested to cancel the order completely, which they simply replied, "Cancel". Then less than a minute later I get 3 text messages stating that my food order is being delivered. Ridiculous.
Horrible experience. Placed order at 1159am for a nearby sandwich shop order. Message said delivery time 130pm. Called at 120pm to confirm that delivery time as it was getting close. Was told restaurant was "busy" with orders. Told delivery.com I had to leave for my office and if order arrived after 145pm it would have to be thrown out. Refund refused. Called restaurant and they said they were NOT busy, and that delivery.com waited until 139pm to GIVE them the order. Order arrived at 2pm and was thrown out. Called customer service, who four different times said someone would call back, but no one did. They admitted they didn't have drivers, and that is why they waited so long to give the order to the restaurant. DON"T ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!!
Stole 75.13 off my debit card for my moms chemo won’t provide a refund scammmers…..
First off they told me my order would be delivered in 60-90 minutes then three hours later I still hadn't received the order. I placed a follow up call and was told the restaurant opened late (ten minutes ago) and I could get a refund or wait additional 45 minutes. I choose the refund and that was twelve days ago and the funds have yet to reflect on my bank account. They insist it is my bank fault while I continue to insist the money was never refunded. Crooks. Never use this service anyone. Absolutely horrible.
cannot order from web site. the site is buggy not allow to choose an available time and not allow asap order also???? Even i am ordering at 3:50 and the restaurant is open from 12 to 9pm???? At check out my order was just removed not allowing to choose any alternative time for delivery
They go to great lengths to resolve any issues with the restaurants. Their customer service is outstanding. I have reached out a few times and was assisted politely, quickly and had issues resolved immediately. Recently, they actually reached out to me because they noticed a cancellation (pickup) and re-order (delivery for same). So nice to have chat/phone options if an order (rarely) goes south. I wish more restaurants would team up with Delivery.com!
Placed an order tonight and they couldn’t get a driver after 30 minutes and cancelled the order via email. No phone call or follow up, just happened to check my phone to see the order was cancelled. This new company is Terrible we used to use the old the VroomService with no issues but have transitioned to DoorDash and Grub Hub because they have a better and more reliable delivery service…. I have only used delivery.com for one restaurant and since they can’t even deliver from there they are dead to me. Oh and by the way they said they will refund my purchase in 3-5 days, seriously ?
My order was quoted 45-60 one hour originally, for a sandwich shop okay it’s kinda busy, nope I called the restaurant and it was ready and waiting for a WHILE. After 60 minutes I chatted with an agent they said 60-75 minutes. After over 90 minutes of waiting I chatted again. It was still later than 90 minutes of waiting for food that ready over an hour ago that is 10 minutes away from my address. Customer service is nonexistent , ‘I’m sorry for the inconvenience’ is the best they did after extending the time I was quoted twice.

Gave it a star so the page will open to write my review but in reality they don't even deserve a star. First and last time I use the service. Received the incorrect order, called the restaurant to confirm that my order was still there and was told that drivers constantly pick the wrong orders because they don't verify the names an orders. Told me to call Delivery customer service, I did and they asked if I wanted the keep the incorrect order and they will reimburse me. Really... if I wanted nachos I would had order them and not shrimp fajitas. They called the restaurant and the driver was going to go back to pick up the order that was made at 6:06pm and was sitting on the counter. It's been an hour and 20 minutes and I am still waiting for my food. Guarantee is going to be cold and the fried ice cream melted. I will definitely avoid this delivery service and will not recommend it at all.
So they have this promotion, where I should spend $15 on order, and next day I’ll get a free meal. I spend $16.28. So next day, I reach out to the customer service with question how to get it. And respond is that I don’t qualify because $15 had to be subtotal and not total amount. And my subtotal is 5 cents short .. R you kidding me? Lots of other companies who don’t mislead their customers and actually provide great service. Won’t be using your services again
Waited two hours for an order that got cancelled. I ordered 3 hours before the store closed. Then I got blamed for it, saying “you should have checked the restaurants hours and ordered sooner”. I worked a 9 hour shift and am 7 months pregnant, starving and PO. Should have picked it up myself.
I wish I had read these reviews before I used to delivery. com. My delivery was over an hour late. The person on the phone was trying to think of a way to solve my problem. The jerk who delivered my food when I said the food was late his answer was" I don't care." Don't use this service if you are in Missoula Montana.
NEVER USE THIS SERVICE. They jacked up the original restaurant price by a significant increase. A $23 order wound up costing me $42. This included three fees on top of the 32 % food increase. They are rip off artists. Should be closed down
Delivery.com is a middleman between the customer and another middleman or delivery rep(Doordash or Grubhub) to the restaurant. If you have problems with food or delivery itself - delivery.com cannot do anything but offer a $10 credit for your next order. They will escalate your concerns but the delivery rep or the restaurant has no obligation to respond and if they don't you are left holding the bag. My order was delivered early when noone was there to receive it despite having a later delivery window selected and confirm via receipt. After 5 calls to delivery.com and the only response I would get was my complaint had been escalated but not responded to so they will resubmit. After 29 days I was forced to dispute with my credit card.
I am furious with this service. An hour (53 minutes exactly) after I ordered i had not received a confirmation email that my order had been accepted. I then began a chat with a representative @ 12:07 who told me an eta of 30-45 minutes. After chatting with the person further I found out that my order had not even been placed it because they did not have a driver assigned to the order. I chatted with this person for about 36 minutes in all. The person continue to give me the 30 to 45 minutes ETA avoiding the fact that my order has not even been placed yet and I did not have a driver available. At 12:40 I finally asked to cancel my order because I didn’t have the time to wait. They then let me know a driver had been found and gave me the 30 to 45 minute ETA again. At this point I will have waited 2 hours and 15 minutes to 2.5 hours for my lunch. This is ridiculous and should not be acceptable. This service is to help those who either need the convenience of delivery or are incapacitated (my reason). All I got was an apology. Just awful!
Order from any other company. My order was over two hours late, called customer service and was lied to. Told me I couldn't cancel my order because it was already picked up. I called the restaurant and the order was still there. Called back customer service who told me to decline the order for a refund. That was a week ago still have not received my refund. Waste of time and money.
This company obviously has a staffing issue. I can see my driver is making deliveries a city over. My order is so far over two hours behind. When you call the 800 number they just tell you they’re understaffed and to wait. A better option would be the ability to cancel an order when it’s going to be significantly late. I feel bad for the drivers. This service would get zero stars if possible.
