The communication between American Water Resources representative and the plumbing Company's that are contacted out to help customers is very bad!!! American Water Resources does't wait to hear from the plumbing Company's to confirm the date inwhich the plumbing Company's can come out to do the work. I couldn't use my toilet for 14 day because of lies and not getting clear and honest communication and that is after speaking with 10 representative from American Water Resources. I was lied to by representatives Miria and others regarding the date inwhich A Bailey plumbing Company's would be coming out to fix my plumbing problem.I called A Bailey myself to confirm the appointment A.Bailey plumbing told me that they could not confirm the appointment because they didn't have room on their schedule.On this survey if their was an option to not give American Water Resources a star that's what I would have done. Fast response time, fixed everything. People on the phone and the plumber were nice.
Bud plumbing was able to open my sewer drain and then showed me with camera a potential problem on down the road. But they did excellent work to really open up my main sewer and drain in my garage.
The service agents that came out to do the work were absolutely fantastic. The problem I had was with the person trying to schedule the appointment. It would be nice if American Water Resources would use people whose first language is English those of us who are senior citizens and hearing impaired have difficulty dealing with foreign accents from Thailand or from wherever And they wanna go over stuff we don’t care about we just want our issues taken care of but these people you can’t shut them down they get on a roll and they won’t stop try hiring people that can speak English

A repair man was out in an hour and a half and the repair was done in 30 minutes with a cheerful and respectful person
After the fourth try we finally had someone show up it was longer then expected. Long enough for the Mayor of our community to come out and knock on our door plus the Assoc to send out a warning with a due date for fine. Too much stress over two weeks for a broken sewer pipe. We had no control. However when the right folks finally came they took care of it. Please keep a list of contractors for specific areas and types of work. We appreciate the diligence in getting someone for us.

I put in a claim on my main water line leaking . Plumbers were dispatched in a timely manner and they replaced the water line. I would highly recommend this company.
You got the next day help I needed because you were sending me ABailey and they couldn’t make it until Monday. I called Thursday 5/8/25. And you got me the help on Friday 5/9/25. The only other thing that really needs to be done is either lowering the monthly payments or stop charging a service fee of $50.00 every time someone comes out. Because the monthly payments should be enough. Its not cheap

It was somewhat difficult to get someone scheduled. Then it was pouring rain. However, he did get out in a timely manner and fixed the problem despite the inclement weather.
I signed up a year ago for a yearly water line/sewer insurance on my condo for $150, on auto-renewal. I just got a notice from my credit card company that American Water Resources had just charged me $300 for my yearly renewal! They DOUBLED the price, and when I called to try and find out what was going on I was told that an email had been sent out to inform me this would happen, but I never received that email. Last year when I called to sign up I spoke with a wonderful guy here in the US who was personable and helpful. When I called today I got someone in another country who I couldn't understand, on a bad phone line, and after 15 minutes of straining to understand her and being put on hold twice, I finally called back to speak with another agent who was equally as hard to understand. This was just a frustrating experience and I really don't appreciate being ripped off like this.

Every time I called there in the last month, it was very difficult to communicate with people who speak not clear English. This has nothing to do with race, but I am 70 years old and I don’t hear that well to begin with. But if you were going to have people that receive our problems, it’s important to be able to communicate clearly. That was not my experience. I was actually denied claims by a number of representatives before I was able to get things approved. One of my claims was actually denied because the repair company suggested to re-wrap the pipe rather than break up concrete. Make the repair and have to re-concrete. They told me that was my responsibility which is extremely unfair. You should be looking out for your customers to repair with the most efficient means. Instead, they denied the claim of bypassing the repair which cost me $1950. I will no longer be using your services in the future. You should look after your customer instead of finding a loophole to not cover their problem.
