American Water Resources immediately responded to our call, initiated a claim, and had a company arrive at our house within just a few hours. The service was prompt, thorough, and complete. Most of all, we did not have to pay anything out of pocket. I recommend to everyone to take out insurance on their sewer and water lines. It doesn't cost too much and in the event of an eventuality which could result in major costs, you are covered. It was a relief that we had coverage with American Water Resources.

I love knowing I am covered if my pipes burst or have any issues within my property. Recently my kitchen sinks were clogged and backed up, toilets were not flushing and bathroom sinks were draining very slowly ... I called them and they sent a plumber out right away to fix everything... NO CHARGE! Yeah! This was part of my package that I pay for... very affordable.

The second company was very professional and informed. The job was done in a timely manner. Patient is always needed.

Stay far away. After their visit, we discovered a broken sewer pipe that wasn’t damaged before. They’re denying any fault and won’t pay for repairs. We’re left with a huge mess and a big bill.

I paid this insurance through water bill for several years starting with the drain and eventually adding 4 more policies, I had a continuous problem with my main sewer backing up every 2 to 3 months, I reported the problem and usually waited a week for some plumber to show up and snake it out, Never the same plumber twice. The last blockage I got a new company who used a camera after clearing it found the problem and recommended a repair. The quote was $2000 ,below the maximum named in the policy. I asked them to authorize and schedule the repair. At this point it became nightmare, they lied to me twice about allowing the repair. Changed the claim number and tried to start it allover again. After numerous calls and arguments hey flatly denied it. I have since scheduled the repair at my expense and canceled every policy.

They charged me double for the contract. I called them to cancel and then they offered me 50% discount. At that time the loyalty representative told me I would see the credits on my card in 72 hours. I called today and now they are saying that the credit takes 3-5 business days; therefore, I have to wait 5 more days. If I don't see my credit I will cancel both accounts.

First all I enrolled in four programs. I found out I was actually in 7. I have placed 2 different claims with them. After them telling me I was covered. They denied me. Took me 30 minutes on the phone to cancel. This company in my mind is a scam and just taking money. Of course they offered me discounts. But claims were still denied. They can't make it make sense

Things were arranged and done in a timely and courteous manner. The representative we spoke with was extremely efficient and very nice; also plumbers they sent were excellent. We appreciate the time and help of both.

My personal experience was great! I called in my claim and was immediately dispatched to an outside company that set up the appt for the plumber. The company they sent out was very reputable, Roto-rooter. I thought the pipes collapsed because there was dirt and weeds growing from it. To my surprise it just needed a heavy duty pressure hose to push all the dirt and debris through to clear the main sewer drain. From the beginning to the end, the process went smoothly, fully covered by AWRUSA.
