Dreadful service

Reported a domestic water leak almost 3 weeks ago. An initial visit confirmed it was the company's responsibility to repair but a follow up visit was needed. 3 weeks pass & the same technician turns up to take photos of the leak he saw 3 weeks before. In the interim no.proactive communication from the.companu. Promised callbacks never came. And.booked visits never happened. Awful! And I have no alternative provider.I can switch to. Simply.awful service

Charged me for wrong meter for 2years

Worse service there is, found out other day that anglian water were charging me for wrong meter for over 2years, like how can they make such a mistakes???

Excellent Service

The drain directly outside our front door was blocked up and a real state. Anglian Water came out swiftly and the two men who came to the house were absolute super stars. Friendly, informative and got the issue resolved really quickly. Excellent service all round, especially how busy things are at the moment.

Rude customer service

Rude customer service person who took my wife’s call this morning. Private business with a captive market. Terrible company. The person was so rude, she wouldn’t let me speak to her manager.

We had a leak just inside the house…

We had a leak just inside the house where the water pipe comes through the wall. Irritatingly just before the stopcock which meant the only way to turn off the supply was the via the Anglia Water stopcock outside the gate. We couldn't reach it, the plumbers tried and it turned out the stopcock had rusted in place. So we contacted Anglia Water who turned up same day (took a phone call not just online reporting) tried to turn it off failed, said that someone would come the next morning to install a new one. They turned up early morning, fixed it and came back in the afternoon to help when it turned out that stopcock served several houses. They managed comms with our neighbours while the plumber fixed the leak inside the house. Overall very good service from very pleasant water engineers. We are now dry - thank you very much.

Anglian water con artists.

The biggest bunch of con artists going. Paying 50.00 pm to settle account and this was raised by them to 57.00 and I pointed out that the whole country was under pressure and they want more money. So direct debit is cancelled and now we pay manually and their website is rubbish.

Brilliant service, I had a problem with not being able to afford my bill and was met with nothing but respect.

Due to unforeseen circumstance I faulted on a payment plan that I had set up around a year ago, when I rang the Anglian water line I was met by a very well spoken and respectful young man. When speaking about circumstances the man explained that my bill was exceedingly high for a 1 bedroom flat. He put my account on hold for 30 days and forwarded me through email, a test I could do to see if there was an internal/external leak. He also explained to me that I was eligible for a couple of reductions for my internet/phone bills which I had never even heard of which was very much appreciated. When trying to complete the leak test I ran into a few problems, I rang the line again and was directed to another member of staff which was just as helpful. Unfortunately he was not able to resolve the issue as it relied upon my landlord and not Anglian water. I spent a good 40 minutes on the phone with the man, which I'm sure tested his patients yet I was met with complete respect. The phone call ended with him passing it onto a manager and said they would ring that day or in the morning. Not 15 mins after I received a call from a female manger who again spoke to me with the uttermost respect. The convocation ended with her stating she is sending someone out to change the metre due to it being old and that they will also look for a leak/cause of the higher bill rate. I write this to just thank and show respect to the people that dealt with my issue, I have honestly never had such helpful people on the phone before, and this isn't to call other company's, but to show the level of either training or overall character of the people Anglian water have working in the offices. I cant find a single fault with my experience with them over the past couple of days, I never write reviews but I feel it was just needed for the overall friendliness and respect I've been show. Disappointing poor service from Anglian Water

My neighbour and I have a shared drain which is blocked & allowing sewage to seep into our respective gardens, neither of us are flushing our toilets or running washing machines or showering until the drain is cleared. This problem was called into Anglian on Saturday on the 2nd of January 2021at 4pm, it is now Monday the 4th of January as yet we have no indication of when we are likely to hear from Anglian much less have them attend. My neighbour has called them twice as have I my second call was at 10am this morning, the response they will contact us within the next 6 hours. This does not mean they will attend here today, it simply means they will contact us in almost two days we have had no direct contact from them. In the meantime sewage is still seeping onto the paths between our respective back doors, we cannot flush our toilets, my house smells of sewage and we have no indication of when the work will be tackled. Such disappointing service from Anglian

I cannot fault these

I cannot fault these. On the death of my father, they cancelled any outstanding amounts owed and guided me through what happens when the house was sold. "You have enough on your plate. We will send someone out to read the meter on completion day" etc etc. Given that a couple of years ago, they also sent an engineer to our house to advise on saving water (complete with a number of freebies!) I have to give them 5 stars. Superb company.
