Constant problems with no water can't replace the pipes but can pay their shareholders
Entering day 4 without mains water. No end in sight. Apparently they can’t find the cause of the supply failure.
Reported a domestic water leak almost 3 weeks ago. An initial visit confirmed it was the company's responsibility to repair but a follow up visit was needed. 3 weeks pass & the same technician turns up to take photos of the leak he saw 3 weeks before. In the interim no.proactive communication from the.companu. Promised callbacks never came. And.booked visits never happened. Awful! And I have no alternative provider.I can switch to. Simply.awful service

When recording my interest I found them very efficient and helpful. Utility companies get a bad press but Anglian are clearly investing in customer service

Have had a on going problem since April regarding a blocked kitchen sink,Anglian water came out looked in the drain and said all looked fine and left.No further forward! Contacted Homeserve who visited my property on numerous occasions to tell me the blockage is out in the drain. This scenario went on for several months.Anglian water was called out once again To have a wonderful man by the name of Geoff Everett arrive,Anglian water are very lucky to have this man working for them.He was very polite ,understanding, caring man,We felt Geoff actually wanted to help.He was very thorough explained every thing he done.Geoff finally managed to clear the blockage..At last.Geoff is a wonderful example for anglian water and new recruits should be trained by this man.Geoff actually cares about how he works and how to conduct himself professionally. You should learn from this gentleman..there are so few like him..So thankyou again Geoff Everett.carry on with your kindness and professionalism. You are an assett to Anglian water.

House and front garden and back garden flooded with sewage through no fault of our own . The storm drain overflows into the sewage drain (which it shouldn’t ) the sewage drain for the whole estate then burst flooding us with other peoples waste . This was twice in 6 months it has happened . I rang and was told we would be a priority because it’s sewage and it’s in the house. We also have 2 dogs and a 15 week old puppy who needs frequent loo trips in the garden . 48 hours later and 7 phone calls promising phone calls back with a time estimation and we’re still waiting . No ones called us . Poo and tissue paper everywhere my whole house stinks ! To add insult to injuries there’s 3 Anglian water vans round our estate on their day off just parked at their houses ! Surely you need to get more emergency staff on or at least more staff working weekends ?! If there was competition for water supplies I’m 100 percent sure this wouldn’t be acceptable . Just hope we don’t all get ill.... Update : man arrived told us to claim on insurance and that he’s been called here on his day off and it’s not an emergency that there’s people without a toilet and there’s nothing he can do . Thanks Anglian water so nice to know you care about your customers ! Absolutely appalled.

Horrendous customer service, barely worth one star. Have been sending my family some sort of outstanding bill of £600 despite them having never lived at the address. It very much seems you are taking advantage of people with language barriers as they cannot challenge your ridiculous out-of-nowhere debts. The worst thing is, upon sending proof that my family never lived at the charging address they have never bothered to reply so the bill has now been passed to some debt collecting agency. You should be ashamed of yourselves. UPADATE: Turns out they have given us A WRONG CUSTOMER SERVICE EMAIL. Please train your reps better because mistakes like these cost people a lot of monney. Anyone needing their email it's customerservices @ anglianwater.co.uk

New to the Anglian water area, no choice of water companies have to go with Anglian - Funny, but i thought i was in North Lincolnshire, is seems i may be in North Korea !! how many time do you have a bath, how many times do you take a shower - yea Really!!! and the relevance of that is what exactly? There is absoutely no justification for these type of questions.. but failed to ask how often i fill my Jacuzzi, drain and refill my swimming pool, or top up my massive ornamental fountain....... Seriously Anglian water, do you think you need to add a new water main to feed my extravagent lifestyle. nor did you ask what my water meter reading was, or when i should send you another accurate reading prior to being billed - or are you just going to guess my usage, based on my excessive baths and showers. Get a grip of yourselves anglian water, show your customers some respect, If i had your ceo's email address he would have received this too.

Called them today to discuss the direct debit increase to £35 & was threatened that if I did not pay that amount it would be report on my credit file by a very rude & abrupt person….. all over a £70 balance what a nasty & arrogant way to treat your customers, 0 out of 10 for customer service. Paid the outstanding amount only wish I could move to another provider.

We are becoming very frustrated, since we have been with Anglian Water for years and never had any issues until recently. When we moved house around one year ago, our water bill increased significantly, even though there are only two of us still and our water consumption has remained the same. We are still living in the same area, in the same type of house. Our garden is very small, and we mainly use rainwater to water it now, which we were not able to do before. The house appliances are also the same. We spoke to Anglian Water about this and were told that we may have had a leak. In all fairness we did, it was a small one but we had it repaired and sorted immediately. We asked our trusted plumber to check for other leaks, and he did not find any. However, after this was sorted, we were still being charged the same amount as before the leak had been fixed. We carried out leak tests as advised by Anglian Water daily, and the results always confirmed that there were no further leaks. We therefore tried reducing our water consumption even further, for example by using our washing machine and dishwasher even less than previously. Shockingly, our bills still had not changed however, so we called Anglian Water and discussed our water usage with them again. They confirmed that our usage corresponds to that of 2-3 people. When we told them how much we were being charged however, they explained that we were being charged as though 6 people were using our water. They did not seem to know why and offered no further input or support. Interestingly, I have spoken to a couple of people in our area that have reported the same issue. We would appreciate if you could get back to us ASAP please, because this is simply not sustainable, in terms of cost and time spent on trying to resolve this issue. It is simply not acceptable. Thank you in advance. Regards, Rebecca

Had a water leakage in home.Found that I was unable to turn off the supply as the cover to the meter was jammed solid. Rang emergency help line and a lady was most helpful saying that she would have someone contact me within six hours. Approximately twenty minutes later a representative arrived and removed, after some difficulty the cover. He was extremely efficient and very polite. Sometimes Water Companies receive a bad review and a good review was warranted in this case. Well done! Job reference was 58993003.
