Entering day 4 without mains water. No end in sight. Apparently they canβt find the cause of the supply failure.
Reported a domestic water leak almost 3 weeks ago. An initial visit confirmed it was the company's responsibility to repair but a follow up visit was needed. 3 weeks pass & the same technician turns up to take photos of the leak he saw 3 weeks before. In the interim no.proactive communication from the.companu. Promised callbacks never came. And.booked visits never happened. Awful! And I have no alternative provider.I can switch to. Simply.awful service

I have recently had installed ( I didn't ask for it}..a water smart meter by Anglian water. I checked my water usage regularly, and I noticed that I was using less water on a regular daily basis. {this was because I reduced my usage). So I asked the smart meter system to update my bills ,(,I pay monthly direct debit ) To cut along story short Anglian water increased my monthly payments??? Very strange. So I reduced to direct debit payments myself, on Anglian waters smart meter web page. It then stated I may not have paid enough to cover my usage?? The smart meter web page says I am in credit by around Β£20??? The web page even says I have used 17% less water than January AND February?? After reporting this to Anglian water costumer services via email,,they emailed me back saying I must have a water leak, or I've filled a pond or I have an new born child. They also sent a graph showing that I had used over a 1000 litres in one day (March}, Where they got this from I have no idea. On the day in question the usage showing was 184 ltrs?? Also I`m in credit by over Β£20 I do not have any water leaks. it seems to me Anglian water have full control over customers costing. I have asked for them to remove the smart meter and return to yearly readings,,manually. After telephoning this company about this matter they say I shouldn't ask the smart meter to update my usage and bills.?? Totally useless Why have the facility if they don't want customers to use it??, They had better sort out my bills correctly before I contact the ombudsman. Seems to me they just don't care. Makes me wonder, they reduce costs to the disadvantage of the customer. Further on to this review---. I had a wonderful pleasurable phone call, this lunchtime from a lovely lady. She works for Anglian water, at our local city branch of A W. After some discussion, and her explanation, we came to an happy agreement on my monthly direct debit payments. Thanks UNA. I still think the smart meter system, although very helpful,,,it is not 100% usable.

Worst customer service, water quality is terrible undrinkable only fit for toilet flushing even the toilet regurgitate it.

Sewage started backing up in loo, shower and sink. Plumber came and rodded 18 rods from our perimeter without finding blockage, but cleared our fittings. Anglian website yielded only WhatsApp - no phone number. Clearly AI answering, no notice taken of all information. Advised that they might take 4 days to come, as they were busy dealing with heavy rainfall and flooding (it's barely showered twice round here in a month). Sure enough, 5 days later a cheerful, polite young man turned up without any information, so I explained it all again. It turned out there was a blockage on my neighbour's property, which he sorted out and then checked ours was working properly. Can't fault the people on the ground, but the 'customer service' leaves a lot to be desired.

Customer service does not exist here. My bill shot up even though I received an email to say my usage was less than before and below average consumption. Spent hours on the phone with my wife trying to sort it. Was eventually sent a waste of time form to fill out which we said would be on phone as myself and wife both work so would not been entitled to the benefits they kept trying to fob us off with. After several emails and them trying to close my complaint they took loads of money from my bank, more than they said they would. So I've reached out again and onto agent number 5 as all they do if give me lies and turn the conversation off without answering my questions, disgusting corrupt organisation.

I accept that I have posted a previous review regarding the astronomical water charges that we endure from Anglian Water, but on this occasion they have outdone themselves. My annual water bill for 2025/2026 has increased to a mind numbing Β£958.88, an increase of Β£173 in only one year, and Β£330 in 3 years, how on earth can they justify such a high increase? They have put limited investment into the Water service structure, paid themselves ridiculous above inflation pay increases, then when they receive a fine for polluting the water ways, they increase the water bills by an astronomical amount to the consumers to pay for it. Furthermore, what is the point of the Regulator Ofwat? They certainly are not looking after my interests, if you are just focusing on one body (water companies) then your not fit for purpose.

Worst company ever .. every year have this trouble with . How they can just putting up my bill for a one bedroom bungalow am a pensioner on my own . To another I I have filter my water it's bad to drink the fillers are not cheep to biy..Β£125 a year on top I have 4water butts to have my widows to wash a garden to water. Have one shower a month washing once . I had a hart attack last year now have lung breathing problems. Shame on you. The money you want . On bonus am not paying more I had the bill for the I paying . You just put it for your profit. You changed my taff as well you should be ashamed of your selfish ifen do a review is nightmare
