The dna results took way too long to receive. Most of the "traits" are wrong and most of it is dumb, unless information. The website is too hard to navigate. I supposedly have over 41,000 matches- there is no way I can go through all that, it's just a bunch of names that I don't know what to do with. I learned nothing from it all. This was a waste of time and money. I really was hoping for more useful information such as health info or seeing my matches actually put onto my tree. I would not recommend this service.

Extremely Disappointing Experience with DNA Ancestry's Test Kit I purchased a DNA test kit for €89 to gain insight into my ancestry, as I have limited family information. Unfortunately, the company's process has been highly frustrating. After registering the kit, the instructions indicated that I needed to print a shipping label to send my saliva sample to their laboratory. However, the website provided no clear information on how to obtain this label. I spent nearly three hours searching for guidance, only to find numerous online complaints from other customers facing the same issue. The lack of customer support and clear instructions made the process incredibly stressful. Ultimately, I was forced to abandon the process, resulting in a wasted €89. The fact that you ask for membership payments on everything is rediculous! By the time I join each one, it will cost more than a house note! Website is confusing and difficult to navigate. Sent my dna sample in and results shown very little information, unless I pay for each research! Rediculous!!!

Scam! DO NOT BUY!!! It sells you that it will find your ancestors building a family tree, but it only found me 8 and the rest, I have to manually enter it!!! Stupid ass service. Glad they're going under.

For me it took 3 DNA samples to get results. Also I was disappointed in the extra costs that can occur when you want hints. I found that I had to do all of the work myself and didn't get anything for the initial cost except the 6 ancestral regions.
Definitely not a scam they do take your DNA and give you some sort of results. The membership fees to access most of everything is insane. 3/5 stars because I definitely should have gone with a different company. Not for anyone who wants to learn more about their family when they don't know very much to begin with. Was kinda hoping to learn about my dad's side of the family but I don't know anything about him so I guess I'm just out of luck and out of a lot of money. Not the company's fault for that just wish marketing/how they handle asking you what your looking for and how experienced you are with your family tree differently. And maybe not charge an arm and a leg for a distant 10 times removed cousin to maybe reach out to you in 6 years

Not what I expected. I thought it would tell me who my real father was, but it was disappointing. It only tells you info you already know and input yourself.
After paying much more than advertised for a DNA kit ( VAT not included, expensive shipping) there are more costs to do anything with the results like seeing matches. It's interesting, but not THAT valuable to spend these amounts every month!
Took so damn long, but I guess that's just the way it goes. Costly too for all the extra shit.

Having been a member of Ancestry for many years, the Customer support is currently really bad. You can't email them, you have to start with Web answers, or ask Leaf the virtual assistant who may then pass you onto a human. Then the help is torturously long winded. I gave up! My issue is that I was offered 3 months at a 30% discount to renew my paused Worldwide membership. I tried to take this offer up, but could not for some reason, and then was sent a "have you left something in your basket" email. Again, I could not check out with the offer. I subsequently found that I had been billed full price for this month. I am very disappointed at the level of difficulty to contact Customer Support to resolve this issue which is why I have posted this on Trustpilot. Ancestry...please resolve this issue !!

Terrible. Tomé una prueba gratis con una cuenta mía de Outlook, antes de que expirara, les escribí para que me la cancelaran porque no encontraba la opción CANCELAR. Todo bien, hasta ahí. Tengo otra cuenta de Gmail con la que tomé una prueba gratis, no habían terminado los 14 días y ya no se podían ver los archivos y figuraba como si no estuviese tomando ninguna prueba gratis. Estaba como visitante gratuito, sin plan ni nada. No había opción de CANCELAR prueba gratis. Al término de esos 14 días, se cobraron de mi tarjeta 58 euros y algo. Les escribí quejándome y no me respondieron nunca. Ahora, ha pasado otro mes y se han vuelto a cobrar la misma cantidad sin brindarme ningún servicio porque igual que antes, los archivos estaban bloqueados y cuando los pinchaba, me llevaba directamente hacia la página de los planes de pago Ancestry, como si no tuviese ningún plan. Pero aún así cobraron y han vuelto a cobrarme. Les he escrito otro correo electrónico y nunca responden. No tienen un canal de atención para España, alguien de carne y hueso que no sea un simple robot. Esto es un robo, una estafa. No ponen opción cancelar, no aparezco como suscrita, pero sí me cobran. ¡Los voy a denunciar!
