It’s very confusing. I wish it would’ve told me how is someone my cousin (by mother or father). I purchased this kit thinking that I’ll be able to narrow down who’s my father. I have my mom listed on my tree. But I’m trying to figure out which parent would she be listed as.

Way too long to receive. Feels like a marketing strategy to sell you on all kinds of things as an up charge. The basic information was helpful.

Too little information, if you want more you have to keep paying for this and that. Considering that we sold you our blueprints and that you have control to resell it over and over, we should be able to see more information about our genes without breaking the bank.

Can’t open file

For some reason my paternal side family said maternal, and maternal says paternal

I bought the DNA test submitted it was told my results were in, but when I go to Ancestry website it says I have not purchased it, don't know why

I know my father served in the military. I know the rough time frame of his service. But that's all I know, his name, that he served and has since passed. It's cruel that when I finally have a glimpse of hope to learn more of the man who helped to give me life, I'm stopped by ( if you want information, pay us) I understand that this is a business, but I don't believe there should be a charge for this. This feels wrong.

I really wish I had gotten more info I didn't have enough time to finish but it was awesome finding out some of my family history I wish I could of kept going

I don't think that is correct. Needs to be redone. And no one that list can't be related to me. I was expecting a lot more information.

This was a very simple process. I was disappointed that the results showed only limited family relationships. I know of other direct relatives that have gone through DNA tests, yet none of them appeared in the results. Ancestry does not make it clear, in the beginning, what pool of available DNA data they are using.

I sent you people money to find out about my family and I have not received a Damn thing from you and I still don't know shit about my family nor myself you took my $40.00 plus dollars and haven't mailed me a damn thing. What a waste of my money I will be sure to tell everyone I know not to fool with you guys 😡😡😡😡

After sending my sample in 3 times I didn't see anything any different.

Too long to wait for results and then nothing specific to pinpoint the origin. Very broad spectrum of possibilities.

Be upfront regarding results. I did not learn anything new. Include cities, especially in other countries

Gives little information, if you want to find out more you have to pay

It was quick and easy. The only thing I found disappointing is that my results only showed regions and no sub regions

Look at history and the genealogy of your family and you can tell where you came from not worth of the money

Excellent, learned a lot about my Family, I didn't know! My adventures have only started. I feel closer to my Family then ever before!

I found out that my paternal grandfather's name was actually Albert Russell and I always thought it was Russell. I also found out that my friend from work is actually my 2nd cousin. I also found out where my freckles came from. Still researching my results.

My dad was in foster homes growing up so , I didn’t have a lot to go on about our heritage . Since using Ancestory .com I have discovered my heritage and family members wasn’t aware of . Thank you it has been a joy discovering my heritage
