I paid for Priority Processing and according to Ancestry's own system, my DNA was analyzed on May 1st with results expected by May 4th. Sounds clear, right?
Apparently not.
Because once that date passed and I dared to ask where my results are, I got treated to a festival of excuses:
“We can’t guarantee timelines.”
“Every sample is unique.”
“Maybe it needs a second quality check.”
“There was never a promised date.” (…except there WAS — I have the screenshot.)
After that, support just stopped making sense altogether. First they blame the lab, then the system, then pretend the app doesn’t say what it clearly says. I’ve never seen a company try so hard to avoid saying “we messed up.”
If you're thinking of paying extra for faster results — don’t. The only thing they process quickly is your payment.
