After our garden had flooded several times, an NRV was installed by Jacob and Terry, they were exceptional. They were friendly and reassuring, talking me through the stages of work they were doing and what to expect next. Their workmanship was excellent and they always tided up after themselves.

Very helpful when she didn't really know what was happening but still good service
For 3 weeks in a row Wssex Water have coned off a dangerous manhole cover, for 3 weeks in a row the cones have been removed with bugger all repairs taken place, for 3 weeks they have wasted cutomer money using manpower for no actual outcome, but in a couple of months will rinse customers for a huge increase in bills just to make their owners much richer. Reference response Roman Road Salisbury Wiltshire, there is a seriously dangerous manhole cover that has been reported and rereported for over 6 months Reference 2nd response Absolute nonsense, the side of the road that the manhole is on nobody parks on, its adjacent to a wall of the cemetery, I walk past this point 3 times a day, nobody parks there

Sometimes only direct contact can answer a query, and it was difficult to either phone or find a link for online chat. That said, once the chat was opened things moved forward, and when that connection was broken, they made contact via phone, which was still more productive and the operative was extremely helpful. The cyclical nature of FAQs can be frustrating on any website - please make it a little easier to make human contact.
From the helpful caring response on the initial call to my blocked drain to the excellent guy who turned up to unblock it, I have been very impressed. Wessex Water you have some wonderful people and are doing a great job. Thank you

I had blocked sewer drains outside back door - very unpleasant. All staff I spoke to from phone calls to getting job done were understanding, helpful and professiinal Job completed within two days despite all flooding in local areas.
Zero customer empathy
I tried 6 times to make a payment via credit card - each time the software prevented me from doing so. The form is also repetitive and asks for the same information multiple times. Having provided a map and a 10 figure grid reference, I am now being asked to provide a second map. What exactly is the £146.40 visit actually for? Pretty disappointed so far - all I want is a garage tap
