Super quick response to the problem I reported

I reported a leak from the sewerage system using the Wessex Water online form on Monday afternoon. I received a call back from customer services 45 minutes later and then another call from the sewerage maintenance team who were on site at 20.50 on the same day. Rectification of the problem is now underway. First class response - well done.

The loo tank took an unreasonable time…

The loo tank took an unreasonable time to refill, but when I phoned Wessex Water the very kind and helpful lady talked me through and within minutes it proved to be a temporary problem and we parted on the best of terms both of us!

Hedge cut down to size.…

I have just moved into a bungalow adjacent to Wessex Water land where the hedge was 20feet high, I contacted them for help and within 5 days they had guys out cutting the hedge to manageable height, including my side as well, Mick Mahoney cleared up after cutting my side and was extremely kind and polite. A big thank you to Wessex Water for a really good job in PR.

Having to wait for months for a water…

Having to wait for months for a water meter on a house I’ve moved into knowing full well that the non metered bill I’ve been given until the meter install is twice what I was paying in the old house under a meter.

An efficient and dedicated service

All employees who have visited so far - Dean & Rudi; Jack H and Ben C. have been polite, conscientious, have been focused and have worked (!) and have clearly communicated all issues discovered as well as information re. future visits. I am only giving 4 stars (otherwise I would give 5) as the issues have not been resolved.

Blocked toilets and drauns

I reported our sewage problems online as the whole street had blocked toilets downstairs . Within an hour and a half Wessex water had sent a contractor from Rescue Rod in Poole Dorset . Poor guy had to unblock three streets worth of drains in the rain and cold . He was a hero and it’s all fine now . So thanks Wessex water and thanks to Rescue Rod Poole for the great job .

Water boards across the country have…

Water boards across the country have recently been getting poor press in the media. However recently we suffered loss of water due to a collapsed old water main. Wessex water diagnosed and connected a new water supply within 24 hours managing a road closure and connection to a new water main . The inspectors were excellent really helpful and work crew excellent.

‘Chat’ operators absolutely fine, it’s everything else.

The chat operator(s) were absolutely fine on both occasions and dealt with my query efficiently. Unfortunately, I was due to be contacted on 4th Feb. I had to contact Wessex Water again, late on Fri 7th Feb (today) as have heard absolutely nothing, despite being told on 3rd Feb it was a ‘next day’ issue. Yes I could’ve chased them up but I have work and prior engagements. I know I should’ve contacted them sooner but, in all fairness, I shouldn’t have to do so. **Thank you for the reply today and resolving the issue. Very much appreciated. It makes it more difficult diagnosing such issues given that we are linked to the pump. Regardless, we fully appreciate the goodwill gesture. Kind regards Sarah
