I had an issue on my property, I phoned Wessex water, the lady I spoke to was very helpful and they send an engineer out within an hour. And worked tirelessly to resolve the problem. The work took several days too complete and everyone concerned worked hard, and kept me informed of progress. Very happy and very impressed.
Phoned ref sewage blockage , (12:15 pm)Natasha answered call,took details ,informed me of all I should be aware of,told it would be dealt with that day. Received call from technician at 16:45 to say he was on way,arrived at 17:00 hrs.,very pleasant,informed me of his actions,17:36 job completed, VERY SATISFIED with results,all area left clean. WW were quick to answer the phone. Although there was a period of time to determine whose responsibility it was as it was a leaking external pipe (non household). Once fault was established they assessed and repaired within a few weeks. The duration determined by the requirement of road closures. After the repair was completed, the subsequent follow up to also repair the flood damage of a path was quick and efficient thanks to Mike Goad. Overall a friendly, efficient service that also explained clearly what the process would be.
I rang Wessex Water about a drain problem and found them to be excellent in all areas. On the phone Gemma, Shelley and Hannah could not have been more helpful and courteous. Less than half an hour after my call Lloyd H. arrived and resolved the problem quickly, efficiently and with a large measure of good humour. Thanks to all at Wessex Water for a great service.
Was late at night, but they turned up with their head torches and solved the problem without disturbing us, apart from letting us know that the blockage had been sorted. Very good service.
I have today received my latest bill from you and I note that this is a second price increase within 12 months. While I appreciate that I have used more water in the last 6 months than I did previously , I am still using less than I was 12 months ago and yet am paying £17 a month more. During the previous 6 month period I used substantially less and still saw a price increase of £7.50 per month due to the jump in your volume charges. I am a single person living alone , looking at my bill one would think I was sat here running the taps all day. I think it is the outrageous how such price jumps are permitted when there is essentially no change in the standard of service you are providing to us. If you keep raising the volume charges it is telling customers that no matter how they try to save water (which is the right thing to do for the environment), ultimately their bills will not go down and will more likely increase.

My first time dealing with wessex water,and i must say it could not have been easier,phoned to report a faulty stop tap,within the foot path at the bottom of the drive(not on my property) spoke to a lady,think her name was Kate,delt with the problem with ease,polite and efficient,told fault would be rectified within ten days

I mentioned this three weeks ago….why oh why are water companies so dreadful…..it takes far too long to repair leaks….no wonder Thames water are £13 billion in debt….when I reported a leak about four years ago there was no response for weeks saying that they knew nothing up eventually it was addressed. Dreadful….why do I other?

I arrived home to find a very high water bill and called Wessex Water for help. The lady at the end of the phone, Leanne Dickinson (I think), was so kind and empathic. She calmed me down and fully explained all the options to me. I cannot thank her enough for her kindness and calmness - I did cry, but she was so kind and helped me immensely. I cannot recommend her customer service skills enough. Whilst I am still working to resolve my billing issue, I am eternally grateful for the patience and understanding she gave. She made a very stressful situation much more manageable - thank you! Paula x
