Do not buy these cards as gifts

We were given a spa choice giftcard as a Christmas present. When trying to use our card online, it didn’t work. We contacted customer service who informed as the card wasn’t active and had to be activated at point of sale. This is a ridiculous process, and not how the majority of gift cards work. We’re now relying on the buyer of the card still having the receipt (fat chance) and having to go back to the shop they bought it from to activate! This gift card is probably one rung up the ladder from a straight up scam.

Spafinder/Black Hawk putting a hold on the payment of their employees due to COVID19

What type of company are you guys Spafinder and black hawk network? The type of company that put a hold on the labor agreement and salary payment that you have with your employees around the world due to COVID19? Do you know that those people have a family to feed? and due to quarantine they are unable to go out and apply to another job? Very disapointed of the treatment you are giving to your employes in El Salvador, UK, USA, etc... You are not only putting a hold on their salary and labor agreement, but also in the food and need of their families...

Not happy with this provider

My business was signed up for Spafinder for a few months, this company in my experience is slow to pay and I had to request payment several times before payment was made. Not happy with my experience.

Do not buy these gift cards!

There are no salons accepting the spa finder gift cards & there are no refunds available. Waste of money- do not purchase these gift cards!!

Terrible experience

Terrible experience. I ordered a card through email and their payments system does not work. It crashed multiple times at checkout with my credit card (which works everywhere else) but I got it to go through (but pending) with PayPal. But it remained pending for a day. I contacted customer service twice and asked them how to clear the transaction. They told me just to wait. Even though PayPal released the funds Spa Finder could not clear the transaction. I contacted their customer service twice and they did nothing. They didn’t tell me how to give another card or another way to make it go through. The payment was ultimately rejected and they didn’t even give me an email to inform me the card was never sent. Their tech does not work. Very disappointing.

Error when trying to redeem gift card

I was trying to redeem my gift card but it gave an error. tried reaching out to spa finder but it has been two weeks since the ticket has been created and Im still waiting until now.

Zero stars, avoid!!!

I printed out my gift certificate and took it to a spa that that was listed on the website. After almost 40 minutes on the phone with customer service, being transferred, verified, whatever, the spa owner, and myself, still have no answer as to why this gift card is being deinied on their "redemption hotline." Not to mention they take an unreasonable amount from the spas... just buy directly at the spa. Unfortunately this gift certificate was a gift so there is no way to get my money back. Terrible company. Avoid this service. 0 stars.

NO MONEY on the card!

There was NO MONEY on the card when I tried to use it after my spa treatment. There was a 3 week delay in the balance being loaded. Unfortunately, it was of no use to me 3 weeks later. When I called for a refund I was told it is not their problem as the money has since been loaded. I'm now stuck with the gift card having paid for the treatment already. POOR service and stressful experience with a company promoting wellness!!!

So disappointing

So disappointing, got a card, the phone service to find the balance never worked, so had to call. Then fees are not listed on the offers, so you have to go find out if you can afford the places they list. Most are very expensive, so then adding a tip makes it really too high. Their search is weak, at best, and they agent on chat sent me listings that were really far away or way above my card amount. Overall a very disappointing experience- was so jazzed to get a gift card that ended up not being useful. Wasted time trying to see if there was an option that would work and the response I got was, 'wait maybe some new places will be added'. Gee, thanks- Nice idea, but really underwhelming service, don't use them. If you want to give someone a massage, ask where they like to go and get a card from that place directly. This was a waste of time.

The ordering process is quite confusing…

The ordering process is quite confusing and i ended up purchasing 2 $200 gift cards (an E-gift and then a physical card) and when i opened a claim to inquire about what happened, their answer was that my claim was closed because the transaction was already processed so there was nothing that could be done. That is ridiculous, they should be able to refund. Their only recourse was to go to a gift card trade site. This is terrible as I can't just go without $200 in a pay cycle. Why should I have to spend time and energy to find someone to trade with when it was an honest mistake. This was a terrible customer experience which will make me not use them in the future.

Sorry not sorry attitude, not helpful

Received a card last night and today my puppy ate a portion of the card while my son was watching her. The entire card number and security code is perfectly viewable and undamaged. I called to either get a replacement card or to see if the numbers could be manually 8mputted and was told sorry but it has to be swiped and we per terms we can not replace the card. I said i could understand not replacing a lost or stolen card but i still have the card and clearly gave you the card number so basically you are just taking my 72 yr old mothers money and the card is useless? She just repeated herself. So I guess my dog can finish eating my moms $50.. There needs to be an exception or a way to manually imput the number for situations like this. I will not ever purchase from them and I will make sure to inform my family and friends of this as well. This makes me really mad at both my son for not paying attention and at spa finder for not even trying to help.

Scam

Scam. They took my money and never gave me the $300 in giftcards I paid for. I spoke with customer service 4 or 5 times. Their customer service is outsourcer to Mumbai and it wasn't helpful. It was a waste of my time and money. Gift cards never came to my email DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY

I asked to help me with double checking the card I received more than a year ago They wrongly responded that the card was used 8 months ago., and not able to provide who used it or where was used, ...Something was not right because I did not use it. It was a 100 dollar card, bad company, no ways to really claim your rights

never again will I purchase from this company  horrible experience  worst customer service  fraudulent advertising....sends out a promo code for cyber Monday and when their system doesn't accept it... their customer service department refuses to honor it and holds up your refund for 10 days don't use them ...you've been warned wish I could give negative stars

The lady decided to let me try cupping…

The lady decided to let me try cupping for free, which left HUGE bruises on my back. So 2/10 do not recommend that but otherwise, it was amazing! Also glad I got to try that for free but will not be doing it again haha
