Useless card
When I first got a spafinder gift card I was able to use it at a small local spa. Now it’s telling me I have to go to Golden Colorado for a manicure (I’m in New Jersey). No longer useful to me. Rip off.
Spafinder has room for improvement based on customer feedback. Customers particularly appreciate service and professional, though some mention concerns about customer service and poor quality.

I placed an order for gift cards to be sent to my employees for the holidays. The cards were not received and I had to follow up 3 times to get them to send them to me for me to then forward them to my employees making the whole interaction strange. I also never received a confirmation receipt or invoice so I could expense it. I had to reach out to someone 5 times and I still can't get someone to send me a receipt. So aggravating. A complete waste of my time during the busiest time of the year. I will never use Spafinder again. 12/28 My recipient for the e-gift card had to reach out to tell me that the link expired. They attempted to book a massage and when they clicked on the link it stated "address not found rerouting to home page". I then had to contact Spa Finder a 8th time asking for them to fix the issue. When I asked why the link would expire 7 days post purchase they told me it was for security reasons? How does that make any sense? I was told they would fix it and email me the updated e-cards. 10 hours later...still no email of the e-cards. 7 days later, credit card charged, 8 attempts to fix it and I still do not have functioning e-gift cards for my employees. I've given up on a fix and now I want a full refund and will ask my employees to expense a massage instead.
I paid for a monthly subscription of $10/month and you guys charged my business account 31 times. Not a good way to start off a business partnership. Why are you deleting my comment? I called customer service and nothing was resolved. I have a case number.
I want to change my review to a 5 star. Was unhappy and thought I couldn’t use my vouchers but I called them and they sent me 2 new vouchers which I can use in UK. Thank you!
Hard to believe this company is an actual business. It is a complete scam.
Avoid! I don't know who actually accepts these but I have had a couple I have received as gifts in my bag for literally years now trying to find someone to accept them. I have not been able to find anyone to accept them in Austin TX, San Francisco, CA, or Chicago, IL. Maybe someone somewhere actually accepts these but I have yet to find them. I actually have only called places their website lists as "accepts SpaFinder!" and not a single one of them actually accepts SpaFinder. If I could actually use these it would be great, but its just $200 worth of plastic for me.
would give zero stars if possible. Received a £100 e-gift card as a birthday present but nowhere in the UK will take it. Further more I am disabled and would really benefit from a spa day with my carer. Please refund this useless card so I can book somewhere local.
They don’t even deserve a star. This is a scam site and business! No help from customer support, all lies and no response to my requests to refund the cards. Can’t use any of the cards my sisters bought me for over 1 year. No one takes these gift cards from any city of locations. Don’t trust them!
I've been waiting 5 months for a credit on my gift voucher after it didn't work after a facial. Now the email is bouncing back. How are you still in business???
Total Scam. Ordered a $100 gift card, after submitting payment, was charged $200. Called and told of a no refund policy. Fraud/Illegal.
I was given a $50 Spa Finder Gift card in US dollars. I am in Vancouver Canada. On the Spafinder website, there is only one place in Vancouver at the Marriot Hotel that will take it according to the Spafinder Website. I booked an appointment but I was told by the Spa that it will take 4 to 6 weeks to get approval from Spa Finder for me to use the card. I phoned Spa Finder and they told me I cannot use that card in Canada even tough it is very clear that I can. Here are the exact words: Spafinder US Gift Cards are accepted at Spa by JW Vancouver, but require a 48 hour advance notice. What a waste of money. Don't ever buy this card. It is a scam. July 21 - Spafinder asked me for my card info which I sent to them. They also wanted proof of purchase. This was a gift and I don't have the receipt plus I will not ask the person who gave me that gift for proof of purchase. I never heard back from them.
Received a pair of Spafinder gift cards from my sister. Tried to redeem them with a local provider, who reported problems with the card numbers and sent me to Spafinder to resolve. Spafinder website confirms balance. Spafinder support said I need to resolve with the provider... and hung up.
SO far I cannot use my gift card because there is not a place to enter the card number and I have no one to talk to to help me!
I don't understand how Walmart and other reputable places are still selling these cards! My young son spent $50 on this piece of worthless plastic. That's a lot to us and it makes me sick. Can't find anyone to accept it. Could we go after the stores that sell them for refunds?
No spas in a hundred mile radius take this card, yet every store around sells it. What crap. $100 down the drain.
UPDATE: (4/14/2022): The company said on 3/29 that they had sent a refund check that should arrive in 5-10 days. It has been 16 days now and nothing. To just say you are going to do the right thing is not enough, you have to actually do it, Spa Finder. Again, they only reply to you if you make the issue public, otherwise it is like talking to a wall. When I first called, they said the issue would be resolved with 24 hours. It's been more than a month now. UPDATE (3/29/2022): The company said they would refund me my money last week but that their accounting team needed a "few days" to process. Now we are in the middle of the following week and they have not replied to either of my emails. In fact, I notice that I only get a fast response when I say something publicly. I asked them what the latest date that I would receive my refund is and they won't reply. That should not be a difficult question. I am now concerned they are telling me they will refund me to get me off of their backs but actually have no intentions of doing so. Will keep this updated. UPDATE: Still no progress here. On Monday a customer service rep said this would be resolved within 24 hours. I called the next day and they said it might take from 24-48 hours and that I just needed to wait! Wednesday came and no updates. It is Thursday now and I still do not have money back. SpaFinder listed a business on its website, I signed up for services through the Spafinder website and then the business says that they do not take SpaFinder cards because they don't work. The customer service reps just pass you off to the next rep and offer no real help or updates. I've been told that this case has been assigned to an account manager but have not heard from them. I would tell everyone to avoid this company!!! Someone gifted me $300 for spa finder. I tried to use it at businesses and they said they don't accept it, even though they are businesses listed on the spa finder website. SCAM!!!!
Not really sure yet you order was never delivered and they said it shipped on the 8th but it hasn't arrived yet so I'm not sure if it's a scam yet it took a while I guess because they said send that all of this stuff without tracking numbers of course both packages were lost the people were very nice ride along a very odd situation but they credited me back my money definitely not a scam they just choose not to use tracking numbers for whatever reason which complicates everything
I was given this gift card for Christmas. There are no spas close to me to use the gift card, The closest one was 300 mi away. Spafinder is a total rip off, a scam, bait and switch. DO NOT PURCHASE
They charged me for a giftcard on 11/18/2021 which my niece never received. I called early december to check and got someone who did a lot of mumbling and double talk. I have now disputed the charge on my credit card. A TOTAL ripoff.
I won't do business with them anymore. They are offering a nice discount on cards for the holiday. I forgot to use the code and called them 3 minutes later. All sales are final and they wouldn't issue a credit, cancel etc. Pretty ridiculous! I've had problems with them in the past regarding a spa visit. Not nice people.
