Marc at the Burscough branch has always been helpful and knowledgeable. He is easy to talk to and listens to your requirements. Also when I had an issue with a past purchase he quickly supplied information that I needed quickly and made me feel nothing was too much trouble

Very helpful and delivered as promised

I derderd an LG TV and ordered was confirmed and the money went into their account yesterday. Today, I received an email from them that they don't have the TV! They offered another model by paying £1000 more. Interesting enough, the model I rdered is still there, the only change is the price(£500 more!)! So, they had the TV, just didn't want to sell it with the labled price! Now I have to wait for my refund to order from somewhere else!

Have bought things from Smiths before, they are local, knowledgeable and their prices are competitive.

Very helpful shop staff and the engineer who set up the TV was exceptionally helpful.

Very great service and delivery was well communicated and they even set up my TV for me. Very happy with them. Will recommend.

I rarely write online reviews so it takes something very special, or bad, for me to do so. I recently ordered an LG OLED on Smith’s website where they offered very competitive pricing. I was hugely disappointed to be contacted the following day to say that the model I had ordered was unfortunately out of stock. However the disappointment didn’t last long as they offered me the very latest model instead - at a greatly reduced price. I have now received that TV and am thrilled with it. What superb customer service from Smith’s TVs. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I cannot recommend this company. After reading all the great reviews, I opted to buy an LG TV from Smiths TV on 21st July. Like other reviewers, I was told it was out of stock, but was offered a newer model for an extra £200. After three weeks waiting, the TV has not materialised. I have called the company numerous times, and been fobbed off with excuses. Since reading other reviews, it seems to be a typical ploy; you order a great value TV, only to be informed it's unavailable. You're then given a "too good to be true" option to upgrade to a better model. Be warned, you will then wait weeks, all whilst they're sat on your money. The company do not respond to emails, and rarely answer the phone. I will be asking for a full refund, when I eventually get through to them

I was really impressed that when the LG TV I originally purchased on line was found to be out of stock Smiths TV offered to provide the newer model at a generous reduced price. Not many firms would have done that. Excellent customer service, which is good to see.

I didn’t have to do anything apart from paying! Everything was done efficiently and with no fuss and you delivered on time! Very pleased with my new fridge/freezer.

I recently bought a Samsung OLED TV from Smiths TV and wanted to share a quick review of the experience. Overall, I was really pleased with both the product and the service. The TV itself is excellent – the picture quality is impressive and I’m very happy with it. What stood out even more was how smooth the buying process was. The website was easy to navigate, ordering was simple, and I appreciated the regular email updates about the delivery. Everything arrived on time and in perfect condition, which made the whole experience feel very straightforward. In short, Smiths TV offered a good price, a quality product, and reliable service. I’d definitely consider buying from them again in the future.

My experience with Smiths TV was incredibly disappointing and frustrating. I ordered an LG C4 42-inch OLED TV that was listed as in stock on their website. Shortly after, I received an email stating the TV was actually out of stock. They then offered me an LG C5 OLED at a significant discount, claiming it was an upgrade. I accepted the offer, but the TV never arrived. After multiple missed delivery dates and a complete lack of communication, I was informed that the C5 was also out of stock. This seems to be a recurring issue based on other reviews I've seen. The company appears to be misleading customers about stock availability to secure money, which is a deceptive and unethical practice. I have since reported them to Trading Standards. I cannot recommend Smiths TV to anyone. Potential customers should be cautious and research this company thoroughly before placing an order.

I can’t believe but is true!!! I was trying to buy LG G4 65” and found smiths tv offering it on competitive price but was Saturday 20.07 and nobody to talk to the shop! On Monday I received a mail for that they don’t have G4 65” but as a gesture of goodwill they can offer me G5 65 for £ 1999 and was promoted by LG WHEN YOU BUY from participating retailer £400 cashback so price drop to £1599 and G4 65 was offered at £1499 -just £100 difference!!! ITS HARD TO BELIEVE-isn’t IT???? All what I can say to everyone-YES ITS TRUE! But today I received my tv and is 05.08!!! Yes it was long wait , yes I’ve been nervous on phone and email in middle of nowhere…. BUT the wait was worth it! Thank you SMITHS TV! Anastas Anastasov -Servicemaster Kingston upon Thames !

Great choice of tv's. I looked on the site first and went to Burscough shop to compare options. Very helpful manager not pushy. Always have had good service since 1971 when I rented our first tv.

I initially purchased the TV I wanted over the website on 28th July but received an email the following day saying that model was out of stock but offering me the 2025 version for £300 more and asking me to contact the Southport store to arrange this. I tried on numerous occasions to contact this store but was unable to get through so spoke to another store and agreed to pay the supplement. Delivery was made on 1st August but after powering up the TV I noticed that I had been sent the wrong model (one which was for sale at £600 less than the one I ordered on their website). Tried calling Southport store but again couldn’t get through so emailed on 2nd August asking for the incorrect model to be collected and the correct one delivered the same day. Received a response on 4th August saying they could collect the incorrect model but couldn’t deliver the correct model until another date. Surely a simple exchange could take place at the same time! I must say I am so disappointed in this company. I understand things go wrong on occasions but this isn’t the right way to resolve said problems.

Placed order for TV, was informed it was in stock but a few days later was informed can't get this version and would need to pay additional money for TV. No response to emails after order placed chat line hopeless, reading other reviews it seems a typical ploy. still waiting response from company and when I will get my TV. Now waiting for refund!!

It has been a smooth process ordering from SmithsTV. From the initial order to delivery it only took few days and I have been updated constantly through email. Bought a bigger TV and Panther has been really helpful delivering directly to my living room. I would recommend SmithsTV to everyone who wants a really good value for money as well as a great customer experience !
