Item not delivered and no email to say…

Item not delivered and no email to say it’s ever been dispatched. Received email yesterday asking me how they had done. This prompted me to look at my log in as had still not received dispatch email after 4 weeks. Login says it’s been delivered! Policy states I need to complete form Within 28 days of dispatch if items not received. I wasn’t notified of any dispatch so could not have done this. It’s impossible trying to make contact with you as email returns undeliverable. Chat is automated and I can only pick certain options. This is starting to look like a scam. Where is my order?

I wouldn't shop with them again

I wouldn't shop with them again. The quality ok I bought 4 items. I didn't like quality, or it was too big, and I had to return 3 items. Returned it promptly after receiving. Was waiting for refund ages. Until I decided to email them. Got a refund same day, but they charged me £10 for return, for each item. So you pay for delivery and for each item you returned. Most ridiculous shopping experience.

Refund not processed even after a month

Silkfred confirmed receipt of my return on 30th July, they advise 14 working days for returns but I am still waiting. Unfortunatley puts me off using them again as other online shops have been quick to refund once items received.

Disgraceful Company

When someone orders 4 items (same order no.)and they all arrive in different packages so when you need to return all 4 parcels you have to pay individual shipping charges on each parcel and you have also paid a delivery charge to receive them . It’s disgraceful and will never use this company again.

Discerning shopper

Although I've not bought a lot from Silk Fred, I can only express my complete satisfaction with the goods. The size, design and quality are superb. My only disappointment is that there are not a good selection of petite options, nevertheless I will still buy my beautiful clothes from yourselves

The choice of products is really good…

The choice of products is really good but the returns policy and delivery charges are what let them down. I received my order in drips and drabs as they had come from different companies then had to return them back in the same way being charged delivery on each parcel that was returned. This has put me off ordering from them again.

Refund waiting time is unacceptable

The website offers a great range of products from a number of brands but unfortunately their delivery costs and returns policy really let's them down and I will think twice about ordering from them again. I returned something on 31st July which I had confirmation had been received on 6th August so nearly 3 weeks ago. I appreciate that it states on their website to allow 14 working days for a full refund but I just find this simply unacceptable. There are other companies, of a more discount kind, where you receive a refund with 48 hours. I feel it's really unfair that as customers we have to pay so much for delivery and then wait so long for a refund. Sort this out Silk Fred! You'll lose customers.

Gorgeous Gold Sandals

Lovely gold Linzi Reeva sandals which have been much admired and go beautifully with so many things. They are also extremely comfortable. Ordering was easy and the sandals arrived promptly, well packaged. Thank you so much

Beware as they are very slow to process refunds

Bought a couple of dresses on silkfred but when they arrived although they were the right size fit wise they were far too long. So I did a return on them which they confirmed they received on 31st July, and I was told I would be refunded within 14 days It's now 22nd Aug and I've not heard anything else from them and I'm still chasing to find out when I will get my money back. Not impressed, this is the first time I've used them, and won't be buying from them again.

All that glitters is not gold, be careful.

I saw an advert for Silkfred (SF) on 09/07/25, it looked ok, so I placed an order which came to £79.15. On 10/07/25 £87.50 was charged to my credit card. I was disappointed with the poor quality of the items, they were cheap. To return them via Evri was a problem. Evri said they have a returns collection at the range in Penge, they don’t. Their customer service is rubbish. Eventually I returned the parcel via Royal Mail. On 11/08/25 I messaged saying ‘I returned your parcel on 25/07/25. When can I expect my refund’? SF responded saying £75.15 would be credited to me. There was a lot of going back and forth from 11th - 13th regarding the refund. I said 'If the order came to £79.15, why was ££87.50 charged to my credit card? If £4 delivery charge was applied as you say and I wasn’t charged the return postage fee of £1.99 my refund would be £83.50. Do you have an accounts department? If so please forward my emails to them. I don't want this unpleasantness to drag on'. SF said ‘Do you have a screenshot from your bank showing the charge as I can only see we charged you £79.15?’ I sent the screen shot. I was ashamed about my experience and wasn’t going to write a review, but that doesn’t help others. My advice to shoppers: do a quick check if you’re not familiar with a brand and always pay with a credit card. On a scale of 1 – 10, they get 0.

I loved my purchases but unfortunately what I did choose didn't suit ,and also waiting on an order,had to query it and (oversite on my part )my question was dealt with promptly and efficiently,which was to me fantastic customer service..I have used this silk Fred many a time and had some lovely items .many thanks

Replacement of faulty garment …

Received a dress which was faulty got in touch with customer services who have arranged a replacement to be sent to me. Received communication daily updating me on what was happening. Shout out to to Tamsin and Helen thank you for sorting.
