As with other reviews, if you purchase and are happy with your item Silk Fred are great. However, as expressed in previous reviews they DO NOT follow their own refund guidelines. I have contacted them twice and had no response other than automated on my outstanding refund of beyond their stated 14 day policy, thus I am now posting on here. Buyer beware- I'll not be purchasing again from them.
Company doesnt follow its own time frames for refunds. I have sent back a few things now and had to chase every single time to get my money back. Their refund policy states 14 days after receiving the items back and both times I have had to contact them after 14 working days to chase them up. First order they refunded saying they've already initiated it but it was only initiated after I chased them. Now waiting for their response a second time. Won't be buying from here again for this sole reason.
Review on behalf of my girlfriend. I ordered some boots from this retailer which arrived in a battered box. When I opened the box the boots were in good condition, however were too big. I tried these on upstairs in a carpeted area, walking from one bedroom to the other to check the fit. I decided to return them and was intending the order the smaller size. After a week and a half I received the boots back and the box was even more battered. I checked my account and had a notification about my return - they had decided they were not authorising my return as the boots were not in a re-sellable condition as there was a mark on the side (the boots were in the exact condition I received them in). I raised this with SilkFred and after a long wait they decided to agree with the brand saying that I didn’t mention the mark - why would I when the mark was barely perceivable. Effectively calling me a lair and insinuating I had made the mark. They were also patronising, telling me to try boots on in a carpeted area in future. I will not be buying anything else from this dodgy retailer who I feel are out for all they can steal from their customers. I’ll be spending my money on quality products with reputable companies in future. Edit following a response from the retailer: they’ve just been calling me a liar saying the item wouldn’t have passed a quality check when they were returned in the same condition I received them. Don’t use this company, spend your money on quality products from a reputable company

Beautiful, high quality clothing I just wish that they would use Royal Mail or any courier other than Evri. I recently placed an order for two dresses, one was delivered by Royal Mail within a few days the other which was eventually delivered by Evri but was continually delayed and Evri just kept fobbing me off with different excuses, however I love SilkFred's dresses and will continue to order from this fantastic company. Had the other dress arrived by a different courier I would have wholeheartedly given a 5 star rating.

Item arrived in good time but I had to chase up a return which was sent back weeks ago. I finally get told it's been processed and yet it still isn't in my account. Lovely clothes but wouldn't buy again due to not being able to get your money back without constant chasing.
