Low quality material
Bought a cheetah print dress from silkfred. Turns out to be low quality material and the fabric is separating along the seams. I do not recommend silkfred. Bad experience not worth your hard earned money.

Ordered a dress advertised as 100% cotton - the dress arrived, the lining was infact, not cotton and cheap polyester. Who wants a cotton summer dress with a hot sweaty polyester lining like this?! Item was returned and received by silk Fred on the 11th June & I’m still awaiting my refund on 5th July! I have to pay for the returns too, when it’s not as described… Won’t be shopping here again!

They said the credit wax spread across all items so only a few pounds have come off the dress I paid 60 pound for! On top of this, I then added up the cost of the items and they have charged me about 50 pounds extra! I am still waiting for them to contact me!

I had a problem with an order…incorrect item sent to me. I contacted customer services and liaised with Helen. She was amazing! She kept in contact with me and resolved the problem very quickly. Thank you Helen! I purchase a lot from Silk Fred and find the quality and service first class. Their customer service, should you require it, is superb.
Great Customer Service, I had trouble with an order not arrive and I had updated every day on where they were up to in sorting the query. Was really nice to know that they care so much about their customers and was reassuring know that they were doing everything they could to resolve the issue. Definitely recommend buying from Silkfred

I have tried to return a dress that is too big. I printed off the returns label at home and took it to the Evri drop off at my local Tesco Apparently, the barcode is not being read and I’ve no way of returning this item.
It has bits of cotton hanging off it everywhere you can tell it’s poorly made and it definitely isn’t too relaxed fit it is very small. It is awful. I will not be purchase them from yourselves ever again if this is the quality of your clothes. I’m disgusted that I have to pay to send something back that you have falsely advertised disgusting.
The selection is great but you have to pay for the postage for each brand (or shop they come from) separately. It's more cost effective to go and look on that specific brand website and buy direct from there as you usually get first time sign up discounts.
I’ve been shopping with Silkfred since 2017 and I’m really disappointed with the return and refund process, no improvements seem to have been made at all in the last 8 years. You still have to print return labels! This is quite inconvenient, especially as I have been without a printer for a while. When my returned items were received I was told my money would be refunded within 14 working days…19 working days later still nothing. My items were received 4th and 5th June. It’s now 2nd July. That’s almost a month! This experience alone has put me off shopping with Silkfred again. I would rather shop direct with brands. £52 for a dress, paying extra for delivery from Silkfred or £52 from the brand with free delivery and swift refund. It’s a no brainer. Sorry Silkfred, your platform is outdated and can’t keep up with other sellers.
I encountered a small problem with my hatinator/fascinator hat and it was sorted immediately and efficiently. There was a unique personal touch from Helen, who couldn’t do enough to help. I would wholeheartedly recommend this company.
I ordered 2 of the same dresses by mistake - contacted customer service and they replied within 20 minutes, totally understood the issue without needing clarification and going through the arduous process some others make you do, and tried to cancel the dress. As they use independent designers, unfortunately 2 dresses showed up (the letty tie shoulder midaxi dress is fabulous btw) and I had a text the next day saying they had already processed a refund! From start to finish, super efficient, pre-emptive, friendly and accommodating. I’ve had such a good experience I would not hesitate to use again, and will recommend to my friends

I made an order before I realised I hadn't changed my address, when I realised minutes after ordering I was looking for ways to contact silkfred, but there's no telephone number, can only use chat choosing from their prompts, when someone did come on line much later they emailed to say if the item hasn't been processed then they might be able to change it, if it has they can't do anything about it, no other advice or helpful suggestions. If my parcel go to the old address I won't get it, I will have lost my money. Also can't see a way in the app or online to change my address details. I am not happy with this service? Very poor
Bought two dresses and returned one, as was too big - refund took over 3 weeks to be processed and was only processed when I chased up, I complained to customer service and got there generic response. Its a shame as I like Silk Fred clothes, but this has put me off using them again.
Ordered a dress which was actually nice but small for its size. I didn't realise that there was a time limit on returns and I ran out of time. I appreciate that this is my fault but if the dress had been a truer size then I would not have to return it.
