Do not rent from this company. They're a bunch of scam artists and will charge your credit card multiple after you drop it off. They will charge you for the wrong dates of service and will not provide backup or documentation. They also claim you have to take their insurance because it's a Colorado law....all of it is a lie.

I used Routes in Cancun... PLEASE don't do this to yourself. WOW I have never experienced worse communication, or worse customer service. I was robbed absolutely blind and misinformed about everything from insurance to the deposit cost. The number they gave me to call the insurance company was an 800 number to an American company, and using the Mexican area code didn't help. I was told flat out that additional insurance that I purchased through Expedia could not be used to file a claim - yet no insurance they have covers tires. So I had to pay out of pocket for a tire I got a nail in. They took almost my whole deposit and got a new tire out of me... I'll use ANY other company next time. Ended my vacation spending WAY more than intended. On top of this, the shuttle driver messed around pacing in front of the store when me and the other lady had ONE hour before our flight. Then he had the nerve to ask for a tip to "speed to the airport" he told us he wasn't waiting for anyone else... clearly just screwing us around for money. What an absolutely backwards company. They offered me a discount if I would leave a 5 star review - I'm sure thats what 80% of these good reviews are.

You guys only rent your vehicles for flight bookings in and out of O'Hare. You should have on the first page that those are the terms! It is only after you pay that this is realized! Actually, I booked with you on Saturday and it wasn't mentioned,and then it stated that I was to pay at pickup 🛻. So what's the deal! I had a very important event that I was in need of a vehicle for, and you guys ruined it for me. If I hadn't called and just came there to pick-up and was told that, I would have been mad as hell! You need to state your terms up front!

I came 15min late and my car still not ready, guys working very slow, not concentrate on 1 client, it took 45 min to pick up the car. Tank were totally empty. Other times all were good. Price good.

We waited at the airport for almost two hours. We eventually took the shuttle to the office who had no knowledge of the payment we made online and the cost was way more The online information should be the same as the actual location.
Several issues and I will never rent from this company again! I rented a mid size SUV and when we got there they had none. They told me I had to drive a full size pick up truck and I told them I wasn’t comfortable driving one, plus the gas would be so much more. They ended up finding us a mini van instead. Then they told us we had to have their insurance even though when I booked online it said it was optional. Nowhere did it say that in the state of Florida it was required and I found out from my own car insurance agent since we got back that that is not true and my insurance policy would have covered it. We got in the minivan and there was only a quarter tank of gas and it was filthy! But there were no other cars other than the huge pickup truck so we had no choice at that point. The van had clearly not been serviced in quite some time and the brakes were going bad and the wipers were terrible. We also had multiple lights go on and off during our use. Overall it was a bad experience and we were lied to and given a disgusting and unreliable rental.
