I have been buying bits and pieces from…

I have been buying bits and pieces from QD in Anglia Square Norwich since the shop opened. There are few high quality items in the shop but this is reflected in the prices charged. The main problem with this shop is some of the staff who are rude and can't be bothered to answer a simple question. After my recent bad experience I won't be shopping here again.

Wrong item sent

Ordered an item online 25 Dec. Package arrived 31 Dec but had the wrong item in it. Contacted customer services and received a generic email stating reply should be within 72 hours (allowing extra c/o bank holiday). Have asked how to return item for full refund incl postage costs without incurring extra postage costs to send back (it is their mistake after all), and I still haven't heard from them. Concerned I will miss the 14 day return deadline but unwilling to pay for return postage as they sent the wrong item in the first place. I suspect only way forward would be to contact CEO?

I don't even entertain the idea of this shop anymore. Cluttered, not the cheapest prices for the poor quality and staff members rude.

Terrible service

Terrible service, ordered a bed.half a bed was delivered to left sleeping on the floor. Told customer service manager will be informed and told can take 72hours for a reply, they are now saying they have to wait for the other half of the bed to be returned before they sort out the order, best thing is parcel force have damaged it and returned to sender and I haven't even seen the parcel. Cannot contact service manager on the phone and leave messages with no return calls, so in short half a bed, no replacement until they have damaged part back I haven't even seen and more time off, waisted

Let the buyer beware

I have been buying the odd few things from QD for probably about the last 10 years. Although a few of the items have clearly failed to be of any quality, generally speaking I would say I was still neutral about the company. I wouldn't recommend them but I wouldn't say don't shop there. That was until I bought some curtains that looked good in the packaging but were so thin they were translucent. They clearly weren't fit for purpose and I tried to return them. Unlike practically every other store in Aylesbury it appears that QD has a policy of only issuing credit notes for returns. This policy is apparently prominently displayed throughout the store; which is patently untrue. At the till I was standing at the policy was hidden behind a pile of boxes of bulbs and there was definitely no notice anywhere near the curtain department. This is just a warning that I wouldn't buy anything big from QD that you can't inspect properly first.

I bought a garden swing seat from QD…

I bought a garden swing seat from QD and it was advertised a white glove delivery service. I contacted QD to say I was going on holiday and when would delivery be and they said it was not up to them, but the supplier and they would make sure they contacted me. Upshot - the swing seat was left in pieces in my front garden whilst I was on holiday. Luckily my neighbours kindly rescued it. On return they have not answered two emails, and have taken no responsibility for the item. I have had to contact the manufacturers who eventually sorted the problem. I would expect, and I believe under consumer law, the seller to be responsible for fulfilling the claims on their website. Do not use them, even if they are cheaper it is not worth the hassle.

TERRIBLE

TERRIBLE Managers Chris Moll and Gareth Pownall have to change their business and how they look after clients. This is potentially the worst company I have ever ordered any product through. Ordered garden furniture with express delivery. Didn't turn up so chased it and they couldn't explain why it hadn't showed. Two months later the product turned up. Left outside my house and damaged for anyone to take. Called QD who agreed it was terrible what had happened and provided me the suppliers details who I had to go to direct to get it resolved!! If you order through someone you expect to deal with them only and not have to use the supplier. Product turned up finally. Even though there is a discount I would avoid QD at all costs!!!

never order from these company worse customer service.

total fraud company ordered 3 litre ariel liquid which has 60 washes. paid 6,99 delivery charges just because they were the only company who were selling 60 wash product. when received the product it was 57 was which is 2 litre bottle. emailed regarding problem but no reply had to call after 3 days and still they were looking into the matter after 15 days still the same on 20th day final resolution was take £1.39 refund or send back the product on your own and bear the charges yourself. customer service is worse i have seen in 12 years in UK. had no option but to forcefully keep the product rather than going in more debt.

Terrable customer service be warned

I have had the worst customer service in my life with this company. I bought a lawn mower from them in August 2017 spoke to them in May 2018 regarding a electric fault with it. Took 7 weeks to get it resolved spoke to 6 people in their company each time giving a 72 hour window for a reply via e mail nothing back no answer . Absolutely abysmal customer service. Everybody in this company should be sacked my advise to anybody would be to stay well away from them terrible in everyway imaginable will never shop with them again .

Would NEVER use these again!

Would NEVER use these again - ordered boxes to arrive and no lids fit them sent 4 new lids (2 weeks after due to apparently one person being away so nothing was sorted) to them still not fitting apparently no one checks items before they’re dispatched. HOW CAN YOU NOT CHECK A LID FITS ON A BOX! Baring in mind I ordered boxes for a house move which has now been done! Customer service is awful - would avoid at all cost!

Only gave 1 star so I could write this review. QD needs to catch up with the times,... Instead of giving a refund for a purchased item, they give a poxy credit note instead!! Worst shop ever, won't be shopping in there ever again.

Very pleased

I am very pleased with my online purchase of Optima Evolve water filters at an unbeatable price. They arrived in good time and I would certainly recommend QD Stores. I'm sorry to see some people aren't happy with them, my experience has been a very positive one, and I intend to purchase from them again.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. I had items in the shopping basket and went to the payment section. At the payment section I clicked on standard delivery option 2 then when I checked out, the receipt charged me more than double for the delivery.(more than 20 pounds extra) I spoke to a customer service guy who was helpful and requested a refund for me. 5 days later I received an email from Maria (customer service) who said this charge was due to the weight !!! they refused too give a refund. They are ripping off their customers. Be Aware!!!! Won't be using again.

Worst company ever! Avoid!!!!

I wouldn't of given it one star but had no other options. Reasons.... 1...waited in all day and goods never arrived. 2..no card left with address and apparently delivered them to a Mrs Cleaks. 3.. emailed customer service twice 7 days ago 4. Rung customer service. 8 days ago, they had no idea were goods were delivered too. No response from email, no goods! Shocking customer service

I ordered a £690.00 garden set from there cherry lane web site A deliver was arranged for this morning but didn’t happen. Called customer service and they didn’t even know if the order had been dispatched. Called the supplier direct and told I was due between 2 & 5 pm. Not exactly the am delivery I paid for but never mind as currently at 1815 it still hasn’t arrived Worst value for money company I can think of....

QD Sudbury Suffolk - POOR

Having been fined for using the QD car park in Sudbury, Suffolk, it is safe to say that I will NEVER be spending another penny in the shop. I phoned the store, and head office, and neither would answer my questions regarding the matter, stating that I would need to put all corrospondance in writing. Very poor show.
