Well 1 STAR because there's no zero stars. Be aware of this Lebara scheme ; I dont have a contract i buy manually a bundle meaning im intittled to buy it when i want is not a contract is buying a service but im told by Lebara costumer service that automatically it will renew himself ????? Wait a second i dont have a monthly contract i buy a service manually that last 30 days but its me that choose when i want yo buy it . But gets even better one day BEFORE expiry my bundle Lebara automatically charge me the same bundle i bought previously without my permission . Meaning its FRAUD im being charged a service whithout being provided the service itself because didnt expire yet . How can this be possible ??? Again i dont have a contract !!!! Its a bundle there's no subscription or fix payments thats why you buy it when you want but still Lebara charge you like a monthly contract. Dont fall in this shit cancel Lebara payments in your bank app and only switch it on when YOU decide to buy the bundle not LEBARA charging you 24 hours in advance and without your authorization. Dont use the APP cancel erase it frpm your phone if you buy bundles they will take your money without your permission this is illegal AGAIN i buy a bundle not a monthly contract

I had switched to Lebara a year and a half ago and everything was smooth up till end of May 2025 when I noticed that my data was disappearing from fourth of June till fourth of July. I have spent on Lebara £75 just to add data so I was buying plans to have data. The best was that in four days time in three days time, sorry I’ve used 50 giga data. Is that possible? Lebara is coming the customer with the data and when I made a complaint they gave me five giga data back then all of a sudden that’s gone And on my account I’ve got extra 20 gig and after 2 1/2 weeks that I was waiting for someone to contact me they decide to contact me on Sunday 2 o’clock just before lunch with my family to tell me that I have to keep my mobile data off when I am on Wi-Fi They think they talking to a child even my children on TikTok they don’t use that much data they reinstalled some of my data back even though I explained that I need to travel and I need data on my phone. I haven’t been planning to change network but now definitely I’m leaving Lebar I’ve been with Vodafone with sky with EE with O2 never ever ever. I use more than 30 GB per month of data. I always have spare data in the end and Laura 50 GB the disappearing in three days what is your secret? Lara? Tell it to the customers guys go away don’t go near

Scam asking for details and then hanging up when given

i bought a lebara recharge and impossible to activate it after i gave all my details on the phone the network suddenly stops. I tried to contact lebara in all the way possible (phone, email, chat from laptop, chat from app but impossible to get a reply from them.

Sim swap by scammers just asking for…

Sim swap by scammers just asking for pac code, no proper i.d. Failure on lebara security, I should need to authorise. They said extra security put in place, but happened again. UNBELEIVABLE And lebara if you want to contact me don't call my number it is still with the scammers. OK on Day 3 still waiting for lebara to return my number,multiple checks to ensure my i.d. when asking for details where was that security on the number porting. Yesterday told the team would contact me in a couple of hours.. Nothing..contacted today by chat told 48 to 72 hours. TERRIBLE SECURITY AND SERVICE............................................................ Day 9 still no return of my number. No contact from lebara for days. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED ABOUT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE PEOPLE. DON'T USE.

Customer services that works

Recent convert to Lebara and this was my first time in contacting CS @ Lebara. Needed to upgrade from my 5Gb deal to get more data. They quickly answered my question and I the arranged the new deal. As most of my data is listening to Spotify when out walking I do need a fair amount which has doubled recently. Very pleased with the new deal AND with the service by Customer Services. Glad I swapped to Lebara.

Invisible invoices and direct debits out of contract

I stopped my contact and they are trying to take direct debit from my bank still. I can't see the invoice because I am not a customer but they are still using the direct debit. This is called stealing. When I contact with chat option the employees giving unrelated answers and then closing the conversation without me ending it.

Lebara uncontactable/difficulty terminating contract

Sim arrived as promised within 2 days. Tried 4 times to activate sim by phoning a friend, but kept getting 'cannot connect to mobile network'. 5th attempt succeded, by same thing happened when testing out sim on another friend. The message to activate the internet didn't work. Tried their messaging number, but got message ' cannot connect'. Tried their phone number but that terminates call. Tried email, but apparently it can take 5-7 working days and they wont accept termination via this method, only phone or chat. Chat is automated in response and when you request to speak to someone, nothing happens. I ended up having to leave wish to terminate via comment on chat on how to rate your chat experience. I will now have to contact my bank to issue me with a new debit card to prevent them taking any more money out of my account.

Fail to deal with complaints- the…

Fail to deal with complaints- the online chat commits to actions that never occur and they then ignore emails. These guys have defrauded but choose to ignore so you can’t refer to the ombudsman - a slimes corporate trick. Currently submitted a written complaint and two weeks passed so far without even a holding reply. Cowboys.

Phone still not ported. Four weeks and counting.

Four weeks after joining Lebara my phone still hasn’t been ported in. I cannot receive calls or text messages. I have complained several times to Lebara but their customer services just keep saying that it will be fixed tomorrow. Finally I emailed the CEO yesterday and received a grovelling apology. Lebara are a ‘jam tomorrow’ company who are not equipped to deal with customer complaints. Avoid at all costs.

Rubbish.

Rubbish. Premium text not working and created the top-up to enable. Still not working so called customer service who told me I had not set it up When I made it clear I had, they checked again and said I had set it up but it may be a technical fault and told me to go on-line again and set up again. So, having accused me of not doing it, they then just told me to do it again. I dislike being told it’s my fault as a customer when it’s clearly not. Issue - they don’t seem to care.

if i could a minus star rating i would. ordering on line July 2023 was easy but any subsequent attempts to liase with customer services was and is hopeless. staff either do not understand or do not want to understand. taking two lots of payments from my bank account but would not explain why. talked over me and did not listen. raised a complaint which was never addressed. would not recommend to anyone. ok if you do not need any interaction with a human. this is a true and honest account from an ex Lebara customer changed to new provider Caveat Emptor (Buyer Beware)

Doesn't work whilst in EU

Although changing to lebara was simple when I travelled to the EU I could never get Internet. Only time I did was when I was connected to WiFi. I complained when I got home, their response was that I was using my phone. I replied that I could only use it when connected to WiFi. No response. Been to EU again, changed the settings as the text said, still no internet/signal. First thing I did when I returned... changed to O2. Will never use lebara again, even if it was free.
