Michaels Stores

I LOVE Michaels. This may be because they are one of two (Hobby Lobby being the other) craft supply stores in my area, but oh well. I would definitely choose them over Hobby Lobby any day. I really wish yall had more selection, but i think that may have more to do with what's going on in the world right now, than anything. They are SUPER pricey compared to say, Amazon, but they are right here also. Overall the staff is always super friendly and helpful, the store is clean and I always make a purchase. So I continue to shop there and recommend them to others.

There was only about three or four colours of Liquitex inks on the shelf. I live out of town. I did your survey, and when I wanted to go to the website after the survey was done, I clicked it, and it said the URL was unavailable. Regina SK

Employees are great. Prices are too high. No matter what other stores are pricing. They have been too high for 15 years. Its a shame and Michael's throws millions of dollars of usable merchandise away weekly not donating to a worthy non profit while the consumer pays for it. Well I wont. I buy clearance from now on. Sadly even their clearance is a sham. 25% off is a sale, 75% off is clearance. Do the math. Its a shameful. Shameful business practices. This needs to change.

I am pretty happy with the paint stuff but the polymer clay supplies are severely lacking. I use the Burbank store which is close to Universal, Warner Brothers, Disney, and many special effects shops and I am also working in that industry so it seems like they should try to cater to the industries they are surrounded by. Other than that I have no complaints. I've gone in there many times and had to leave empty handed and go to other places to buy things from stores I don't care to support. Such as Hobby Lobby and Amazon.

This is an amazing store! I also go elsewhere for better pricing, but I go to Michael's for the extended variety of the items I need. My biggest problem is that I want to buy almost everything and I usually spend a lot more than I intended. I hope the women working at Michael's make a very good wage. This is my biggest concern about Michael's. I will endeavor to find out the wages, (and I always succeed ), and if I think they are not being paid a fair wage, I will publicly boycott Michael's stores. I have a lot of time on my hands and I am a feminist. I will boycott on social media and in person. While in the store the employees were always working and it shows. I have not gone by a construction site where everyone was working. There are always a group of employees standing around, waiting to work. I hope these women make an equal wage to construction employees as their jobs are definitely of equal importance!

Everything I intended and needed to purchase, I certainly got them. Sales personnel are so accommodating, always ready to assist. That’s a perfect customer satisfying shop I found.

Michaels is one of the best places to shop for craft ideas, inspiration, and supplies. I love there wide variety of items, not to mention their Clearance sections.

The sections for crafts keep getting smaller and smaller and the home decor keeps getting bigger, your a CRAFT STORE NOT A HOME DECOR STORE I can buy that at alot more stores and for less but I go here for CRAFTS NOT HOME DECOR

Store #1230 Stoneham MA Hannah was awesome! She really helped us out! It was close to closing we ran into a problem and she worked hard and fast to fix it! We left happily with our purchase. Thank you Hannah!!

Jacqueline at Store 1075 in the custom framing dept was such a friendly, engaging and knowledgeable salesperson. She made great suggestions and encouraged my input. This is my 1st time getting custom framing done at Michaels and because of my experience with Jacqueline it will not be my last.

They have a lot of unique odds and ends for home projects and especially a lot of stuff for photographic displays and archiving. I always feel like I don't want to like this shop store when my spouse takes me, but I do. AND it is an awesome place for children, my toddler loves it.

Cant process the order online.I called customer service twice and I was on the line every time for over a half hour and after that they said the item is not in stock

Nous avons fait une visite à la succursale de St Constant pour un article bien précis. Ce dit article à été vu le matin même sur le site internet. Lors de la visite je parcours les rangées, aucun commis ne m'offre son aide malgré en avoir croisé plusieurs sur mon chemin. Lorsque nous demandons finalement l'aide d'une commis, cette dernière nous as répondu d'un ton froid et inadéquat. Nous lui avons montrer une photo d'un article recherché. Sa réponse fut : on as pas ça. Nous avons demandé de faire la vérification puisque ça avais déjà été sur leur site internet. Et quel fut pas ma surprise, lorsqu'elle m'as répondu et ce sur un ton bête et haut : ça fait 2 ans que je suis ici j'ai jamais vu ça! Je lui aie ramener à l'ordre qu'elle n'avais pas à répondre cela ( encore moins devant mon enfant) et qu'elle pouvais simplement allez demandé à un collègue. Et bien elle a simplement répondu vous m'avez pas laissez le temps... Ce que je doute. Je ne remet clairement pu les pieds dans cette succursale la

I ordered online and paid for same day delivery. It never went out for delivery. Checked online and it shows ready for pickup. Called store, they say I need to pick it up or that delivery just hasn't gotten there yet, to call customer service, they don't know anything about delivery. I did and they couldn't help me because, although everything I can look at online is correct, they are saying I'm giving them the wrong address and phone number. Over an hour on the phone with local store and online customer service and I've gotten nowhere. I don't have my money, I don't have my stuff. I can't drive and go pick it up. They don't want to refund me because I can't give them the phone number they have in their system. So I'm instituting a PayPal dispute to get my money back. Management at the local store and management at online customer service were unwilling to help me.

The staff is awesome! They are respectful and I like that most are students. Being an art teacher, I buy all of my art multi and water color paper from you and since I teach in a school of many hundreds of children, it's a lot. If more educators knew, you could sell a lot.

I recently bought frames at the Emeryville store. Upon entering I was greeted warmly and asked whether I needed help. EVERY employee asked me with enthusiasm if they could help me find something. The store manager was helpful. The cashier I've check out with many times was more than helpful as usual. I had so many frames, that Kennet walked to my car and carefully loaded the frames for me. He encouraged me to submit this evaluation. I have always had fabulous service at the Emeryville store. One reason you do not get reviews is that it takes TOO MUCH WORK to find where to submit one. I first went to your Customer Care link, which wasn't where I could leave a review. I then went to your website and looked at ALL the links for Customer Service. I then googled your website for a customer service link. Your average customer is not going to bother! That's why you're not getting reviews. The Emeryville store is my go to store for frames and art supplies. Service is always outstanding. Staff is wonderful, helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. Kennet is the highlight of my visits!
