Ordering online is the most annoying…

Ordering online is the most annoying thing ever. Twice now I have had issues. Once I forgot to add an item and wanted to see if I could add it to my order. Contacted them 10 mins after ordering. Their solution - Cant do anything. Next placed an order and just moved, forgot to update the address. Unable to change the address online. 2 mins after ordering start a chat - again they are unable to do anything. Cant cancel, cant change my address - have to contact them after its been shipped to send it back to their warehouse for a return. How does a business this large have such terrible procedures and can not help their customers. I honestly wish there were better craft stores around my area. I can not stand them

Customer Service at Westminster Store…

Customer Service at Westminster Store SUCKS!!! The cashier saw me in line, looked at me, didn't say anything (no hello, can I help you...nothing!!!!) I walked up to the counter and I gave her the same energy, she looked like she didn't want to be there!.. didn't even say a damn thing when I paid and was leaving! The next time I go in there and if I get her then she will get called out!!!

Not a fan.

Not a fan. I get what I need because I know what I'm looking for. I wouldn't go but it's the only option in my area. They're sale items versus regular pricing needs to be much clearer. It's difficult going to the cashier every time to check an item, especially when it's busy, to check if it's actually on sale or not then it's annoying when a bill gets rung up and it's a lot more expensive than you thought it would be because items in the store are mixed up and prices are not clear. I've been to plenty of craft and art stores and I will say Michael's is plummeting downhill in quality and in organization.

I love Michaels

I love Michaels. I've been going there since I was a kid. I remember when they had craft classes in the stores. I can't stand Hobby Lobby.

DONT GO HERE

I went to my local Michaels a few days ago (located at 4999 Houston Rd #200, Florence, KY 41042) and received extreme disrespect from the assistant manager that was on duty at the time. This employee, named Connie, not only disregarded my presence as a customer, but also refused me service due to her “being busy”. If you think about buying from this location, don’t. Their managers are rude. I also feel bad for the employees working at this location because I found out they get paid less than $10 an hour and they are extremely understaffed. I could not find employees while I was walking through this store except for rude Connie. If this review, somehow reaches the Michaels that I am talking about, good. Because they need to know how terrible their store is.

It was near closing and I went into the…

It was near closing and I went into the store, knew what I wanted, found what I needed and headed to the cashier. I wish I knew her name but can't remember. I was really impressed with this young lady! She was so kind and personable! She made me feel that she appreciated me shopping in the store. Again, near closing and she wasn't upset because I came into the store at 6:55 p.m. Way to go Michael's!

Ordered 2 pads 14x17 DRAWING paper on…

Ordered 2 pads 14x17 DRAWING paper on April 26th. They sent me 18x24 SKETCH paper. Sent it back, waited for weeks for the drawing paper. Never came. Asked for refund, was told it would take 1-3 days. 6 days later, no refund, drawing paper arrived. 1 month after I ordered. I needed it weeks ago, and I asked for a refund because I bought some elsewhere and didnt want theirs. Apparently they completely ignored my request for a refund.

So the consumer out there need to be…

So the consumer out there need to be aware of how michaels rips you off. Steals your money with no accountability. I would recommend you never buy a gift card from them, why you ask? They sold a card that they previously sold the tear before. Placed it back up on the card rack. When inquiring to the apple store. They said it was previously sold by the store. Michaels of course. Takes no responsibility, they’ve done nothing wrong. They won’t refund or exchange the card. So they’ve stolen the money. It’s a free bonus for them. They refused to call apple. Now I’ve spent thousands of dollars at their stores with various projects. This is how they reward you as a consumer.

Impossible to shop from the web site.

In past years, I had wonderful experiences shopping t my local Michaels. This past week, I have wasted a lot of time and have been completely frustrated by my experience trying to buy some items at Michaels after I received an email announcing discounts. On Friday, 2 days ago, the on-line site, everything I wanted to buy at my closest Michaels store was not available. At the next closest store, which is a half hour from my home, I finally found some items that I wanted to buy, after most were not available at any store within 25 miles of me. I finally found two items that were availaable there, and ordered them for pick up. Shortly after I placed the order, I received an email that one of the items was not in stock. Yesterday an email arrived telling me that the other item in the order had been picked up. I did not pick it up. My plan was to pick it up on Monday. Just to make sure that I wasn't going to drive for half an hour and then to be told that the item was no longer there, I phoned that store this morning (Sunday). The staff member was unable to find any record of my order either by my name or by the order number. Furthermore, she told me that I should have an order number with letters, but the only order number in all of the emails I had received had only numbers, no letters. She then told me to call 1-800-Michaels. The agent there was not able to reach the store by phone to tell them that I had already paid for the item and should be able to just pick it up. At this point, the process became an impossible task, so he just cancelled my order.

The sales person (Candace) has great customer service skills. She was very helpful and patient. She is a great asset to your Company. She works at the Store in Las Vegas. Store number is #1552 on 9881 S Eastern Avenue.

I went to the store in Largo Florida…

I went to the store in Largo Florida and was attended by Daniel Barranco- Alonso for the second time. I had made a mistake with my previous order and this young man went above and beyond to help me put in a new order. He was very knowledgeable and patient. Super amazing personality. Michael’s should have more staff like him. Makes you want to shop more at the store. How would I rate this young man. I would give him 20 stars

Excellent service from Andrea Filipe

Excellent service from Andrea Filipe. I have only been in the store (27th Street in Milwaukee WI) twice this month (vs. online orders) and she was the same helpful and friendly person and should be recognized. Keep up the good work Andrea!!
