Happened 5th time in 2 years, No network and “threshold Limit reached”

Reference number 107557100 I had a family plan,removed a number for one month and 18th and 19th july tried to recharge it started giving error “threshold limit reached “ then on 20th July I added that number to same family again , received SMS about recharge but after that no network bars and sometimes SOS

Lyca failed to send me the QR code that…

Lyca failed to send me the QR code that I need to set up the eSIM on my phone. Nevertheless they claim the "plan activation" was successful. It was not successful for me. I have not received a usable eSIM.

SIM SWAP I ordered an ESIM little did I know I have to have a physical SIM

UPDATE 7/18/2025: after writing the previous review Lyca Mobile customer service did contact me. They offered me a refund for eSIM and informed me that I would have to purchase a physical SIM. They told me what I needed to do for a full refund. I did exactly as they asked and once again I have not heard anything. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE I DO NOT RECOMMEND!! I decided to buy the esim card for like $12.86 which includes unlimited talk, text and data. I assumed the esim would work in my phone but it is not compatible. Shame on me for not checking first. This does not excuse Lyca customer service from blowing me off completely. I have called the number several times both times I finally got through I was hung up on. LIA the chat bot can't help me so it pushes me through to wait on agent who never answers. Oh and it states I can email them too only to be ignored once again. So I sit here day #4 with no solution. Not even an almost solution. I guess what I'm saying is their customer service sucks and they are making me feel like I'm not even a customer of theirs.

From Disappointment to Hope—Thanks to Omar at Lyca Support

***Initial review:03/30/2025*** 3 stars ONLY for the customer service rep! I reached out to Lyca USA Support due to an ongoing issue with my SIM card and 6-month plan. Since the day I purchased it, the data service never worked—not even once. I had to make multiple attempts to connect with someone for help, which was extremely frustrating and disappointing. I was firmly set on leaving Lyca and requesting a refund. However, my interaction with Omar from the support team made me reconsider. His calm demeanor, professionalism, and genuine effort to assist me stood out. He was patient, soft-spoken, and truly empathetic to my concerns. Thanks to Omar, I’ve decided to give Lyca another chance and allow the backend technical team to relook into the issue. Omar is an excellent representative who reflects the kind of customer service that keeps people from walking away. Thank you, Omar, for being a bright spot in an otherwise difficult experience. ****Update 2 as on 04/6/2025:**** It’s been almost 5 business days and none responded yet with a proper solution to my case. I also initiated a request via email to customer service for a full refund and none cared to respond till now. This is insane support team!!!

customer service folks has no brain

customer service folks has no brain i paid for 1 yr service but my connection was blocked for despute i did - because i want lyc to charge my card for annual aubscription but they charged for monthly which is costly. all of a suddes a charge from lyca was unexpected because they did not let me know before that charging. so obviuosly i dispute it and they blocked my number i paid for 12 months - still blocked i paid 10 $ credit still blocked finally they asked me to pay dispute amout which i did but they did not credit for that extra 1 month. they dont even understand and regret for their problem. 1. No intimation to customer about up coming charge 2. if service is not rendered you can not charge the customer.

ABSOUTELY terrible website

ABSOUTELY terrible. I needed a data top up because my 5gb ran out. I went to the website to take a 2gb data add on for $5. I tried the payment with so many cards so many times and it wont go through. It is always payment failed. Then i called the customer service and the wait is sooo long. Not everyone has all day to wait in a call to top up their data. Finally, I tried to go to my dashboard and then i get blocked by cloudflare. Mind you, i had one tab open and I was not spam refreshing anything. Absolutely terrible website for such a big company. you guys can defintely hire better engineers to build your website cmon

I wish everyone to have Mr. Fettah as their CS representative on their next call

I've been calling the customer service number all day long, as my phone broke and I needed to switch to a new eSim, to get my same number on another device, and Mr. Fettah, (from the Lyca Mobile USA customer service) helped me with my eSim swapping. He had the patience, the positive attitude, the skills, and also the CUSTOMER SERVICE we've always looked for. I mean, give this man a raise! It might not be a super hard request, but my current phone number is very important to me, and other customer representatives asked me to just change it. Mr. Fettah instead, took the time to investigate what the problem was, and fixed what I needed. THANK U, sir! Great job
