Happened 5th time in 2 years, No network and “threshold Limit reached”

Reference number 107557100 I had a family plan,removed a number for one month and 18th and 19th july tried to recharge it started giving error “threshold limit reached “ then on 20th July I added that number to same family again , received SMS about recharge but after that no network bars and sometimes SOS

Lyca failed to send me the QR code that I need to set up the eSIM on my phone. Nevertheless they claim the "plan activation" was successful. It was not successful for me. I have not received a usable eSIM.

SIM SWAP I ordered an ESIM little did I know I have to have a physical SIM

UPDATE 7/18/2025: after writing the previous review Lyca Mobile customer service did contact me. They offered me a refund for eSIM and informed me that I would have to purchase a physical SIM. They told me what I needed to do for a full refund. I did exactly as they asked and once again I have not heard anything. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE I DO NOT RECOMMEND!! I decided to buy the esim card for like $12.86 which includes unlimited talk, text and data. I assumed the esim would work in my phone but it is not compatible. Shame on me for not checking first. This does not excuse Lyca customer service from blowing me off completely. I have called the number several times both times I finally got through I was hung up on. LIA the chat bot can't help me so it pushes me through to wait on agent who never answers. Oh and it states I can email them too only to be ignored once again. So I sit here day #4 with no solution. Not even an almost solution. I guess what I'm saying is their customer service sucks and they are making me feel like I'm not even a customer of theirs.

Got 2 lyca SIMs and put into two phones…

Got 2 lyca SIMs and put into two phones from India Oppo and Vivo. Both not worked. Called customer care, waiting long and after troubleshooting they saying the phone is compatible but not able to fix. Also did not even know what phone numbers for these SIMs as it nowhere mentions. Wasted money unnecessary on this SIM.

Worst Sim Provider Ever

I called the company in January 2025 because i was unable to receive OTP and used my friend card to recharge for 3 months and I called lyca mobile to Stop charging that card an i was ready to provide a new card of my own but they are like we can't do anything and suddenly my friends bank responded and stop the payments from his card this month so i just recharged my Lyca sim again with my own card and after a day Lyca mobile blocked my call and text sending and when i called they say we can't help i need to pay penalties as their support on called told me in January to dispute and now they are putting me on a charge of 144$. Also they have the worst sim service i recommend people to either switch to T mobile or At&T or verizon because lyca mobile is the worst sim service ever i was their loyal customer for 3 years I used to get cheaper deals with other sim providers but i still stick with their services hoping it would be good but now i am making their payment and switching to other providers and i recommend other to do the same if you are using this sim services for more than 3-4 months you will get better deals service and customer support in other companies better than this. Also i just talked with their customer support on call 10 minutes ago but it wasn't helpful they are like you need to pay you need to pay .Lyca mobile is the biggest scam ever seen .

Customer service is brutal

Customer service is brutal, waited nearly an hour online to talk to an agent who was rude and not helpful at all. Was on hold on the phone for over 40 minutes also before I gave up

Auto renewing and charging illegally without consent!

Update to your response: I never consented to auto-renewing when I made the purchase. Exactly why I posted this review and why your product is dishonest. I also made it clear to your customer service that I’m not based in US and have no access to the eSIM nor have I been able to manage the account because you need to verify me through an eSIM that no longer is in use. Please just refund me all the unauthorised charges dated on 1 May, 31 May and 30 June. — Lyca, you are dishonest and operating under very bad practices. I signed up for one of your plans which I had thought was a once-off plan because you never disclosed clearly any information about this plan being a permanent recurring plan. You ‘auto-renewed’ without seeking my consent and providing clear disclosure, and started charging me monthly. I haven’t received any confirmation from the charges either. As cancellation was impossible since I’m not US-based, I wasn’t able to sign up to your online account to cancel so I had no choice but to cancel my card to avoid you from billing me again. You should be refunding me all the recurring charges due to your failure in seeking formal consent and not being transparent about your plan structure.

Worst customer service

I have ordered eSIM and not able to activate. Tried to reach out via online chat and phone. No one was able to help. I have already paid for the SIM and not able to use it.

Horrendous joke -- avoid like plague

Horrendous joke. esim issued even though the site crashed when signing up. Installed, but will not connect to network. Support is close to nonexistent you would prefer it to be non-existent.
