Happened 5th time in 2 years, No network and “threshold Limit reached”

Reference number 107557100 I had a family plan,removed a number for one month and 18th and 19th july tried to recharge it started giving error “threshold limit reached “ then on 20th July I added that number to same family again , received SMS about recharge but after that no network bars and sometimes SOS

Lyca failed to send me the QR code that I need to set up the eSIM on my phone. Nevertheless they claim the "plan activation" was successful. It was not successful for me. I have not received a usable eSIM.

SIM SWAP I ordered an ESIM little did I know I have to have a physical SIM

UPDATE 7/18/2025: after writing the previous review Lyca Mobile customer service did contact me. They offered me a refund for eSIM and informed me that I would have to purchase a physical SIM. They told me what I needed to do for a full refund. I did exactly as they asked and once again I have not heard anything. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE I DO NOT RECOMMEND!! I decided to buy the esim card for like $12.86 which includes unlimited talk, text and data. I assumed the esim would work in my phone but it is not compatible. Shame on me for not checking first. This does not excuse Lyca customer service from blowing me off completely. I have called the number several times both times I finally got through I was hung up on. LIA the chat bot can't help me so it pushes me through to wait on agent who never answers. Oh and it states I can email them too only to be ignored once again. So I sit here day #4 with no solution. Not even an almost solution. I guess what I'm saying is their customer service sucks and they are making me feel like I'm not even a customer of theirs.

Auto renew plan : Felt cheated

I did opted for Auto renew plan & they deducted $29 "29 Unlimited INTL 6M SIM OL". As my old plan was long term, I thought autorenewal would be long term plan & name contained "6M: hinted me that this plan would be valid for next 6 Months. But my phone stopped working just after a month & Lyca executive told $29 was for one month only. I felt cheated & would opt out off Lyca next month.

Bad experience with eSim

I pott my number from Verizon after purchasing an eSim plan. After they help me with moving the number over, the eSim activation failed and its taking 10days+ and I am still not able to get someone who can help me move service to new physical Sim. They keep creating tickets and giving me ticket number asking me to call back after 24hrs. The people on the phone needs technical training or at least cut the ETA down. I lost my number I want that number back I called customer service I pass the verification process the agent(Maria) She took my new SIM card number and give me the reference number and told me to wait for 24hours it’s more than 24hours and still am waiting please try to help me

Terrible Customer Experience

When I made a transaction of $126 on Nov 23, 2023 there was a duplicate charge appeared on my credit card. I called the customer support and wrote an email to get the refund but there was no response. I raised a dispute through my bank since there was no response for couple of weeks (at this time I wasn't aware that raising the dispute would block my SIM). On Dec 7, 20223, The SIM card was blocked and it stopped working but there was no update on my refund request yet . When I called the customer support they forced me to withdrew the dispute to get my number unblocked (stating that as an only option to get my refund back). It took a month to unblock my number and they started processing the refund in the first week of Jan. After several follow ups, I came to know that the partial refund was done in March for the current plan instead of duplicate charge. I again raised this concern with customer service and email support team. On March 13, email support team confirmed that the entire amount of $126 was refunded but it wasn't credited in my account. They have asked me to wait 5 to 7 business days to see the refund in my account. It's been a month now and there is no refund made. The frustrating part is I never got a response from anyone unless I made a follow up. I am literally tired of calling service team and writing emails since its been 6 months now from the date of my first request. Expecting a proper response from Lycamobile and provide the refund ASAP. If I don't get the response within next few weeks, I am thinking to take some legal steps for all the suffer and frustration I had to go through to get the refund.

Worst company at all

Worst company at all, they don't give me my PIN and once I called them to get my PIN they started saying: Sir! We can't hear you anymore, we need to end the call!!!. And the reason I'm asking for my PIN is because their network is not working, I can't make or receive calls and they haven't fixed my problem.

Very Patient Customer Service Rep 30513 Fatima

Customer Service Rep Fatima (30513) was very patient with me when I could not hear her as she was trying to help me get my account transferred from AT&T to LycaMobile. I am partially deaf, and I could not hear some of the words Fatima was saying. I also did not remember something that a previous customer service rep had done, and that caused me to misunderstand some of what Fatima was trying to tell me. I am thankful Fatima is very patient and kind. Thank you, LycaMobile, for hiring good people.
