Very, very happy to have found Linda Bachman at lifestance! Her expertise is just remarkable and her ability to solve problems surpasses many doctors that I have had in the past!

I have lived in central Florida for 10 years. In the first two years I was a patient of LifeStream and saw the psychiatrist and a psychologist there, but when my psychologist left I took a break from counseling and only saw the psychiatrist for medication refills. In 2018 I found Lifestance and have been a patient of the psychiatrist there ever since. I loved that he listened, didn’t judge me and that we discussed any medication changes before anything was prescribed. I wish that I could afford counseling services there as well, but for now I am content with my Telehealth calls each month with Dr. Downes and I truly look forward to our calls. If you become a patient definitely set up your patient portal to contact your doctor or counselor. I’ve never waited for more than a day or two to get the answers or requests I’ve made. If it’s urgent, you should send your message as Urgent, then call the office in an hour or so. I am so pleased with their services that my two adult children and a close friend are all receiving help from them
This is in regards to your Warwick, RI location. Appointment was today, January 9th with Dr. Miranda Icart. Please don’t bother sending your computer generated response that you value customer service… your verbatim responses to all of your negative reviews truly speak to the kind of company you are. I have your “wecare@“ email address and I will make an attempt to contact you there, but I do not anticipate a human response. I reached out in July to schedule an appointment in RI for an ADHD evaluation. Had my first virtual visit in September, and could not get the psychological test scheduled until December. I was contacted in October to change my appointment, and they moved me to another day in December. I used PTO and took the day (Dec 16th) out of work, only to get a call just 40 mins prior to my appointment to cancel because the doctor was no longer available. Already terrible business practice. They rescheduled me to January 9th. I received a call on Dec 30th confirming my appointment and reminding me of my $20 copay due at time of visit. I arrived to my appointment and paid the $20 upon checkin. An hour into my testing, the “receptionist” who checked me in, knocked on the door to interrupt the test and tell the doctor that they didn’t realize I owe more money, so they had to stop the test until they discussed the new amount due with me. I left the room and went to the desk and was told that because I canceled my original appointment in December, my deductible reset Jan 1st, so I owed $1020! I told them I would have never agreed to the test, had I been informed appropriately of this cost in advance. Immediately I knew this was ridiculous because I never even met my deductible in 2024 - so the excuse was a lie- and I was told by LifeStance from the first July call that my insurance would be accepted and the provider was in-network. Not to mention- THEY CANCELED ON ME, I DID NOT CANCEL THEM. Additionally, they called me 10 days prior reconfirming the $20 copay. No mention of any additional fees. They let me continue my test and said they would figure it out, and after my test as I was leaving told me that I need to contact my insurance company and give them all 15 CPT codes to see what they cover… THIS IS THEIR JOB! I asked for them to call but they refused and proceeded to give me a Testing Verification and Estimate form- which is clearly something I should have received prior to my appointment. Then, during my appointment, they emailed me a financial agreement to sign which I should have received weeks or months prior, which I would be a fool to sign now. Now, after multiple calls to my Insurance company, I’m told that these tests needed prior authorization, and LifeStance is required to obtain that before any tests or evals are done. They gave me the tests without any authorization and then handed me a bill to figure out what me and my insurance company was going to cover. This is violation #1. I have never encountered such a HORRIBLE and UNPROFESSIONAL experience within the medical industry. Violation #2 is the No Surprise Act and I will be filing a claim against Lifestance if they make any attempt to collect this money. Not to mention, I will be sure to include this information on all review platforms that exist- which again, really speak to the nature of your fraudulent company. Once again, I’m sure I’ll get an auto-response, but if they are as dedicated to customer service as they speak here in all of their replies, they will easily find out who I am and contact me directly to resolve this. Oh, and all of their reviews above 2 stars are from their corporate marketing team’s fake accounts. It’s completely obvious when you read them… Their investors should be embarrassed about who they employ on all levels.
Making appointments has been seamless. The psychiatrist provider and therapy provider have been personable and wonderful.
I have 2 providers with Lifestance. Thankful for both of them. My med manager was able to get me a therapist who is knowledgeable, compassionate, and I have been able to start feeling better.
I have been using the services of Life Stance and its predecessor for more than a decade; I can say that I have always been treated with respect and great care. The doctors and therapists are excellent professionals who are pleasant to work with and understand their role in helping their patients maintain a positive quality of life. I am pleased with the services I receive through Life Stance and I recommend them to everyone who could use a little help getting through the challenges life imposes from time to time.
If this is the future of behavioral health care, we are doing okay. Lifestance Health has consistently made it easy to book appointments and pay bills. Dr.
Your billing system needs work.
Horrible horrible horrible don't go to this dump they take your money and that is all they want from you. can't get meds refilled I tried for a month and no meds can't see Dr wait time is ridiculous on phones with lazy rude office staff. Good doctors need to go elsewhere so these doors will shut. Read all reviews this place is horrible and if you need mental help this is not the place for you.
We’ve been with LifeStance for over a year, and I couldn’t be more pleased with their services. The scheduling process is incredibly convenient, and the payment options are straightforward. We’ve worked exclusively with William Cruz during this time, and I can’t recommend a better therapist. He has played a pivotal role in helping us strengthen our marriage by providing tools for effective communication and strategies to protect each other and the foundation of our family. I wholeheartedly recommend LifeStance to all my family and friends. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I've had great experiences there.
The enrollment process was smooth. My counselor is empathetic and professional!
I’ve only had one appointment But I’m looking forward to seeing my therapist again.. it’s been very hard for me to find a therapist and I knew from the moment I met her that she was going to be the right one for me. My experience is so far perfect but truly only time will tell.
Very comfortable when talking about the different issues.
First of all, as I am leaving this review, I have been on hold now for 35 minutes. I am calling because they are charging me $50 for missing a virtual appointment because I never received a link to join my appointment. I joined late because I had no link. I was on hold for 40 minutes last week trying to re-schedule and now I'm on hold for them charging me when the woman I spoke to said I would not be charged because of no link. My NP is fine. I have tried to make an appointment for counseling but I wanted in person and when I arrived the office person aid she was only doing virtual calls that day. My first virtual visit I was charged $25 when my insurance covers them at $0. That was a month ago and I have called twice for a refund. Ive only been with this company since November but I feel like I spend more time on hold than anything else. I'M ABOUT READY TO LOOK ELSEWHERE. It seems they are more interested in the bottom line than helping their clients. ;(
LifeStance providers are second to none. I am particularly impressed with the south Naperville location. I have been seeing a provider that was the perfect match for me. Although I was hesitant to begin with a new-for-me therapist, seeing my provider has proved to be exactly what I needed. I have an ongoing appointment booked that is convenient to my appointment needs. I also recently completed a telehealth appt with Hildred Amegashie, PMHNP-BC. She was amazing- and I have now switched from my prior provider of 15 years to Hildred! I attribute that recommendation to my therapist located on the same office. Seeing both of my providers out of one office is not only more convenient, I also feel support in knowing they are working collectively to help me achieve my goals to better my health and well being.
Dislike their cancelation policy and fees!!!!! I called Friday to cancel an appointment taking place for the upcoming week (Tuesday). I was told that unfortunately due to the cancellation policy, I was unable to cancel and that I would be charged a fee of $150 if I did not make it to my appointment. Forced to either make it to the appointment or pay a cancelation fee. Goes to show Lifestance is about money! They force courtesy on patience yet lack of giving courtesy as a company.
It's been a positive experience thus far; Eric Burnell is excellent and professional. He is punctual at appointments. I have waited no more than 5 minutes or less to connect. He pays attention, then responds to my inquiries and offers guidance that I understand (verbal and homework sheets to do). I appreciate your support during my difficult times.
I have never been that guy that even considered my mental health to be important because I never would have considered myself as impaired in that way. When a health advisor strongly recommended that I consider LifeStance I just went through the motions to "get it over with" and sign up so she would stop nagging me about it. But after a few months of sessions and a prescription, I can already see some improvement to how I handle my stress and anxiety issues. There has been signifigant improvement to my quality of life. I know I still have a long way to go to truly reverse a bit of damage to my mental health, but so far I am thankful for that recommendation by my advisor. My counselor and doctor are truly blessings and I am grateful to have them. I have no complaints thus far.
I see Ann K. She's great nice personality and she cares I have seen her just about a year now and I wouldn't change too anyone else.
