They didn't show up for my first apt, ghosted me, and are trying to charge me now...

Tried to go to therapy at Lifestance when I arrived in the Austin area...the people on the phone were rude and not helpful. I ended up setting something up, really looking forward to getting started...and the therapist didn't even show. I called the front office to see what was going on, they said they would call me back after the figured out what happened. Never heard from them again...so I found a new place the exact same day, since I had really been counting on getting therapy started with Lifestance and they let me down with a no show. Now...they have been billing me saying that I was the no-show??? I called, they said they will send it to review and most likely they won't make me pay. But I just got another email saying theres an unpaid billl....Very unprofessional and honestly, strange experience. Wouldn't recommend.

The therapists are good-but..

The therapists are good, but the company is terrible. I have an insurance that has zero co-pay for virtual appointments. Lifestance kept charging me for in-office visits. Even after multiple calls to billing about this, with them acknowledging what was happening, they still demanded the in-office payment before the therapy sessions. This was also after they said it would take them weeks to refund those payments. (Still waiting for the refund). Once they even charged my credit card without authorization when my card was supposedly not kept on file. I may need to look for a legal remedy because of this. I recommend you find a different group to do business with.

I have been a patient of Lifestance for at least five months. All the employees are friendly and professional. I especially like my therapist Karen. She is kind and attentive in our appt. time. I am so happy I found Lifestance. Thank you! Peggy Mills

I'm really glad the telemed option is…

I'm really glad the telemed option is available. Closest office is 30min away. I see LeJeana Miller. She's great. She listens to me, doesn't mind being emailed with questions, and gets my ADHD issues. I would recommend her to anyone who asks for a recommendation. Please keep her!! 😄

Exceptional Care

If you’re struggling with mental health, LifeStance is where you want to be. My experience at LifeStance has helped me leaps and bounds and definitely recommend EVERYONE to check it out. I finally feel safe and taken care of for the first time in a long time.

The Lifestance services in Pennsylvania…

The Lifestance service in Pennsylvania has been great. I am more than satisfied with the doctors and nurse practitioners and appreciate the ability to communicate with them directly through the portal. I especially appreciate that I was able to get appointments quickly. It is a shame that experiences seem to vary from state to state, but based on my experience, I think it is worth a try.

Staff very rude after their mistake

Staff very rude after their mistake. They argue in the lobby with a patient. So unprofessional it was surprising. Bottom line: I canceled my appointment never to return.

Life stance is a super lame company

Probably the worst “health” company I have dealt with. The actual therapist was fine. But this company is ridiculous to work with. There is no online option (website, email or text) to cancel appointments. And if you call, you can only call during business hours, and no leaving messages. It’s like a company from the 1950s. Website is useless as is the back office staff. Look, I hate giving bad reviews. But there is no other recourse as they refuse to speak with me beyond the poor receptionist who has no ability to do anything other than accept your late fee (48 hours, zero exceptions, but also impossible to call them). Update on 1/28/2025 - I reached out to the "wecare" email as noted in the response from the Company and I have had no response from them. Not a surprise at all, but still disappointing.
