A complete nightmare

A complete nightmare! They say they are "working on your problem" but no one calls you back, even after calling multiple times. My mental health is in a much worse place after having to deal with them. You would think that a company that deals with people with mental health issues would do better. I am completely disappointed and wouldn't even recommend lifestance to my very worst enemy. Edited to Add: I did contact the email provided by Lifestance below. After providing them with the location, I received no response and no resolution to my problem. I will be seeking out new doctors.

Nightmare handling with administrative issues

My first psychiatrist at Lifestance was amazing and she was the sweetest woman I’ve ever met. She however retired and when I tried to reschedule with a new psychiatrist they told me I had too many “no-shows.” I had missed 6 appointments over the course of the year and for 3 had cancelled 24 hours in advance but they still considered them no shows. I understand my mistake in this situation but you would think they would be more understanding considering they deal with people who struggle with mental health issues. I asked if there was any way to remedy the situation and they said they would put in a request to schedule an appointment with some sort of upper management and that they would get back to me. I called a week later for an update and they said the “management” had not responded. Ok. Fine. I called again a week later. Same thing. At this point I’m frustrated as I am clearly trying to fix the situation and they dont seem to care. A month later and I still never heard back. I switched to talkiatry and am so much happier. I dont have to call every single time I need an appointment or a refill now. I dont reccommend lifestance at all if you have any kind of mental health struggles. It is ridiculous to me that they require you cancel within 48 hours as 3 times I had gotten sick and could not have predicted that. Don’t waste your time here. They dont care about you. Every time I called that phone number I was on hold for way too long.

Helpful

My therapist and nurse practioner are great . They really are helping me and I can get in touch with them in a timely manner if I need them. Really like and wouldn’t change my therapist and nurse practitioner. Thanks to you both. Only problem I have is with Lifestance billing. What is going on with them? I think I have that number on speed dial now. Something needs to be done with billing.

I love my provider

I love my provider, Brandi H. She knows my needs and helps me navigate my mental health issues. Professional and so easy to talk to. I feel that I am safe with her and I know that she looks out for my best interests.

My Experience With LifeStance Health

I have virtual appointments with Dr Misiak. I’d like to take the time to thank him for his professionalism, patience and commitment to my medical care. The medications prescribed are helpful and I do see improvement in my emotional stability. I am grateful for LifeStance Health and to Dr Misiak.

My therapist is knowledgeable and listens He gives me self help reading to help me understand why I act and react the way I do. His homework as Iu call is helpful that it help me learn to act and react differently. This however takes a long time but we are working on it

Cigna portal to find a dr is how I…

Cigna portal to find a dr is how I found lifestance; yet, i have now $5600 unpaid bills. I called lifestance billing and they said they 'see the issue now' - the doctors in question were "contractors" and they will fix the issue. Note: i have no doubt they will fix the issue, but I also believe with 100pc certainty that they would have happily accepted my $5600. This has upset me so much, that as of today I have decided to start punishing providers for their billing departments complete and utter incompetence. It should not be my job to get them to work with their partnered innetwork insurance company.

I had 2pm appt

I had 2pm appt. with Thomas Bachman at 2:40 asked what is the problem? I was told he is leaving from someplace else and would and will be here in about 30 minutes or so. I then asked for my copay back and the only response I got was bye. Not 1 question about rescheduling or anything and never received a call or apology. Very unprofessional!
