I feel we were scammed. I booked the appointment, making it clear I needed an evaluation for my daughter, not a therapist as she already has one she’s comfortable with. A telehealth appointment was made for a week later and at the beginning of the session, after the therapist spent AT LEAST 10 minutes putting us on mute as she worked on her technical issue, I repeated what was needed, and stressed that we don’t need a therapist, we need an evaluation. After a few minutes on useless conversation where the therapist pushed a career choice that my daughter expressed no interest in but therapist repeatedly pushed it anyway, I guess hoping for a different response, I left the room for what I thought was the evaluation. At the end of the session, she made arrangements with my daughter, not me, to meet again the following week. If I hadn’t asked my daughter, I would not have known and been billed another charge when we didn’t show up. No evaluation was done, she treated this as a therapy session, and not even a good one. I’m not sure how I could have been more clear about what was needed but we spent nearly $400 out of pocket and not only do not have an evaluation but have lost time finding someone who can do one. I’m not sure if this company is just incompetent or unethical but it certainly is not one I would ever return to or recommend. Oh, and they just tried to bill me an additional $335, on top of the nearly $400 I already paid.
Brett Liefson, PMHNP has been my provider for many years now. He works with my husband and son as well. I love having him as our provider for our whole family because he can connect the dots between all of us and can really dial in on what is needed. He is very knowledgeable and not a pill pusher. His goal is to have you not take meds if possible but also really listens to what is being said. He is extremely knowledgeable and stays up to date with the latest and greatest.
I’m so grateful for Dr Babalola, she is very informative and kind. I’m also grateful for Megahn, perfect fit and also informative and kind….
LifeStance made a billing error two years ago and still hasn't fixed the issue. Instead of fixing the issue they have been trying to bill me $500 instead of the right insurance company
I was skeptical when I first contacted them and almost didn’t utilize their services because of the inadequacies of the person answering the one and the wrong information on their website. Thankfully, the therapist (Lamika) I was interested in called me. I decided to schedule with her, I have no regrets! I seen her for about six months, she’s great. She pushes you to see the good and gives you real life strategies to face and cope with life’s uncertainties. I highly recommend Lamika and won’t hesitate to seek her services if ever needed again.
I love the clear and constant communication and the punctuality in the appointments
My psych PA has been amazing. She’s always there when I need her. She carefully listens to how my situation is going and how therapy is going. Anytime I have to send her a message. She’s pretty responsive.
Tuesday was my first appointment at HealthStance and my first appointment with Elizabeth 'Liz' Moore. I found her very attentive and she let me do a lot of the talking with her suggestions as what might help which I appreciated as other Pych NP's I've seen (with the exception of one) made me feel like they just wanted to up my meds, add different meds, stopped some meds, etc. No real conversations about why I was feeling the way I felt. So far, so good! Praying we are a good fit for each other.
Great place! Always on time and never rushing me out. Glad I found them
5 stars LifeStance Health has truly changed my life. Dr. Carol Lynn Craig and Therapist Veris Hawkins-Smith have been an incredible support system, and their care has made a tremendous difference in my health and well-being. I also want to thank the entire staff—their compassion and dedication have been deeply impactful. I highly recommend LifeStance and their amazing team.
Excellent experience. Easy to book, easy to use online platform. Excellent therapist and medication management. Great referrals to outside agencies when needed.
I have been a client of LifeStance since Feb 2024. All of the scheduling staff has been kind, patient and friendly. Wait times when calling in are minimal. My therapist, Anne O’Donnell, has gotten to know me, so when we have a visit she knows who each family member is that I am talking about. She has shared many book titles with me, and I’ve learned so much. This week, I needed an extra appointment following a hard weekend. I reached out to her via the portal and was able to see her Tuesday. The flexibility of virtual visits, and not having to go in person, has made this the best therapy experience in my 46 years.
Kimberly Grider is AMAZING!! She is the first psych specialist I’ve had that actually listens to me completely. While I had past psych providers that helped me, none have been as wonderful as Kimberly! She is kind, patient, understanding, and very knowledgeable. I like that she gives me some decision-making power without making it seem like she doesn’t care. I can tell she truly cares about my well-being.
Very professional and considerate and caring
Was kicked off and I was told I was the next person. When I got back online first I was told one person was ahead of me then I was told two people were ahead of me. When I finally got to talk to a nurse practitioner which I was lead to believe that it would be a psychiatrist that I would talk to which is what I wanted. None of my concerns were listened to and I have severe anxiety and panic attacks. It wasn't listened to and she just gave me a prescription for 25 milligrams of Zoloft, and nothing else. It's 930 at night and she never called it in. I felt unheard and that I was just a bother to her.
We were interviewed on our first visit and a medication that has been said to NEVER GIVE A PERSON WITH DEMENTIA OR ALZHEIMER’S was prescribed. I will not recommend this company or the NP to anyone.
We like our therapist and that’s the only reason I’m giving any stars. I sent multiple messages to the office manager requesting they consider removing the lobby’s air fresheners. I explained the many detrimental health issues associated with their use. She has not acknowledged me. I printed out studies supporting the removal of these fresheners and our therapist handed this information to the office manager. She still didn’t respond. The front desk staff told me the issue not theirs. I messaged through the patient portal and have not been acknowledged. Each week, I bring my son with epilepsy and cerebral palsy into an environment that is neuro toxic. Lifestance continues to ignore my health concerns. Only a few days ago, the therapist asked the staff to remove the air fresheners, for which I am thankful, but the fact that the office manager and the patient portal readers have completely ignored my legitimate attempts at communication is wrong. They seem efficient in sending me reminders to pay them, but can’t seem to engage in a conversation with me.
RUN! At first I thought this service was super convenient because they took my insurance, they have offices everywhere, my visits were virtual, and they provide extensive testing. I only wish I had taken the time to read the things written about them on the Internet. Everything was great until I really really needed them to pull through for me, and they failed miserably. If you are unlucky enough to have a mental illness like I do Then you are also at risk for having a total breakdown, and needing Take time off of work by way of a short term disability claim. My NP filled out the paperwork and accurately, only listing my long-standing diagnosis instead of my acute issues. I reached out to the psychiatrist who signs off on my medication (one of them a scheduled drug) to request she assist the NP in filling out this form. She said "I can't do that because I don't know you". So I had to pay another $80 copay for a 2nd separate appointment with the NP a month later to get the paperwork filled out correctly. I basically had to tell her what to write. The next hurdle was getting my records from them sent to the insurance company. Just to give you an example of how badly they failed me... I took 3 months off of work and go back to work in 3 days. I had to take out a personal loan just to make ends meet, as I am raising a grandchild by myself. I guess if you just have simple needs for therapy and medication, this is the place for you but I would not trust them to do anything more than that or to Advocate on your behalf at all. They only shining light in this whole mess is that my therapist Sareena is absolutely amazing.
Very supportive and responsive
