I love my counselor so much!

I love my counselor so much, she is the best! Always knows when I need to vent and when I need to reflect, and guides me through it! She's actually the one who encouraged me to get tested for autism, which I did at the Eugene office in 2019 when it was called Strong's Integrated Behavioral Health, and getting my diagnosis of autism, ADHD, PTSD and depression has helped me so much mentally, especially with my self worth and self talk. So when my therapist ended up working for Life stance, I was already an established patient so it was easy to transition to seeing her here. Well, not seeing-seeong, since we do virtual visits. So I've not been in to the actual office since it became Lifestance. I did call and tried asking about classes when they first became Lifestance, because the classes I had taken there prior were helpful and I do well in group therapies, but I never heard back after leaving numerous messages. I just figured they stopped holding any classes anymore. But my therapist Heather has been such a phenomenal asset and counselor to me and I'm sure to many others. I'm so grateful!

A System Built for Turnover - Not Care- Nightmare

I’ve had an incredibly destabilizing and distressing experience with Lifestance. Despite being a mental health provider, they have repeatedly shown a shocking disregard for continuity of care and patient wellbeing. My appointments have been canceled multiple times—often at the last minute—without any real effort to prioritize rescheduling. Most frustrating of all, they’ve held my medication hostage. I was told I couldn’t get a refill for a medication I’ve been consistently taking and clearly need to stay regulated, simply because they canceled my appointment. Their answer? Wait weeks for a new appointment or go without. No urgency, no compassion, no accountability. This approach is reckless and dangerous. For a company that claims to provide mental health care, they seem entirely unconcerned with the consequences of leaving patients without essential support or medication. It feels more like a corporate machine than a healthcare practice—high turnover, overbooked schedules, and no real investment in quality care. I am stunned by how poorly managed and careless this system is. Instead of support, I was left destabilized, anxious, and scrambling for help because of their internal chaos. I would not recommend Lifestance to anyone. This is not mental healthcare—it’s bureaucracy in disguise.

My experience has been amazing. I’m able to see my therapist when I need to. She has accommodated me every time with my appointments. I’m going on a year seeing her and I’m truly happy with her, the company and the experience. I would highly recommend them.

TRULY HORRENDOUS AND EVIL

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE! They cancelled my appointment 3x all 3 on account of the psychiatrist Barry Mills “falling sick”. One of these was a virtual visit but the other two I was already at the office canceling maybe 30 seconds before my appointment time. In all this time, 3 months awaiting my appointment, they continued to prescribe me copious amounts of the incorrect medication, which to my assumption was their sort of reconciliation to me. This place is completely and utterly unprofessional. They have charged ME the cancellation fees for these appointments totaling fees over $400. Do not waste your time or money. This place is completely abysmal. The nurse I was assigned Meron Tibeu was a complete stuck up pretentious witch as well as being unprofessional much like Barry Mills. The only positive to my experience was my first RN/Counselor named Scheena Williams, she was phenomenal however did label me as an addict very quickly due to my age and late diagnosis. After a few months seeing her she realized her initial prejudice of me was incorrect and had a very apologetic 180 on the way she spoke to me and regarded me. Unfortunately she left unexpectedly and I was forced to go with Ms Tibeu who is just a truly heinous individual. A truly truly truly horrible woman. This is not so much a doctors office as a way for people who don’t need prescriptions to get them this is clear by their illegal and unprofessional conduct. I have left to go to a new and real doctors office. If you’re an addict looking for a plug though this is the place for you, if you truly need help STAY AWAY!

My personal experience with lifestance…

My personal experience with lifestance has been awesome. My husband and I have been with them for the last 3 or so years I believe… doing marriage counseling. We had one therapist who moved to her on practice a few years back and she was AMAZING! She gave us some really great tools that we feel really saved our failing marriage. Tools we still use currently in our relationship. And our current therapist is just as great. She is down to earth and makes us both feel comfortable sharing how we feel in our sessions. I also see a therapist individually with them and she is also awesome…and if I am being totally honest it is expensive….but so is DoorDash..and Starbucks..and Netflix when you add all that up it’s about the same..I mean..my mental is important to me and I need a healthy outlet to release and let go… but that’s.just.me..do with that what you will

What i have learned is that some on the counselors are there to just collect and destroying families in the process by not listening and giving the advise for relationship building is to make the parties have a phone call or 2 to repair a relationship between families rather than listen to a minor and let minors make adult decisions

FRAUDULENT COMPANY

LifeStance has been over billing me for every single appointment for nearly 3 years. They use a combination of fraudulent billing practices- they have over exaggerated the duration of my appointments; charged me for services I have not received; and double-billed me. I have been over billed for every single appointment I have ever had. LifeStance has yet to provide me with documentation showing the actual duration (not a range) of each appointment, although I have requested this THIRTEEN times. I have screenshots showing my most recent appointment with LifeStance Health lasted seven minutes. They have billed this using billing codes for BOTH a “30-39 minute established patient appointment” AND “16-37 minutes psychotherapy”. The total they have billed me for this seven minute appointment is $405. This is not an isolated incident. They have done this for every single appointment I’ve ever had. I have NEVER received psychotherapy from LifeStance; I have never had an appointment last more than 15 minutes. LifeStance is quick to respond to negative reviews but then they do not follow up, much less fix the issues. At this point it’s clear to me that they won’t provide me documentation showing the ACTUAL duration of my appointments because they know this would expose their fraud.

Sulaiman Iqbal is a terrible therapist andwill treat you like a drug addict

I work in trauma surgery which requires me to me sharp, well rested and prepared for anything at any time. I've struggled with focusing at work as well as having problems sleeping because my brain never turns off. This has been a issue I've had for as long as I can remember. I started taking THC gummies to help me sleep which helps somewhat. My therapist diagnosed me with ADHD, recommended Adderall and wrote me a letter stating that. I sat on that letter for over a year before reaching out and see a psychiatrist to get a prescription. This psychiatrist, Sulaiman Iqbal, had no interest in seeing this letter or even trying to reach out to my therapist. He wanted to drug test me before he would prescribe anything because he wanted to check me for coke and heroine and to continue to drug test me if he wrote me an RX. I've never used those drugs before neither have I ever abused any substances of any kind. I never had a history of addiction, being arrested or admitted to any kind of mental health facility. Just after a couple sessions, this doctor assumes the worst in me. He wanted me to see him a few times more before he thought of prescribing me anything. What a waste of money. This guy's plan is to test me every month for drugs and to constantly see him. Who has this kind of time and resources? I've talked about this with my therapist (that I've seen for the last two years) and my couples therapist (that I've seen for over a year) and both of them think this guy is ridiculous. My therapist thought the fact he wanted to drug test me was off considering they usually do that when there's a court order. She had told me to report him for malpractice. Since this has happened I've been laid off from the Dodge cuts and I'm losing my house. It would have been nice to have a therapist that gave a shit rather than try to treat me like a drug addict.
