I went back and forth with the sales/onboarding team of the Learning People for 6-7 months before I finally took the plunge and signed up for the Project Management package. There was no pressure and rush into getting me signed up, so I felt comfortable choosing them as my course provider. As a career switcher, with no related work experience, the various teams I interacted with provided valuable advice and support at every turn. Catherine from the careers team was especially very receptive to my situation and touched in regularly to stay up-to-date on how I was progressing. The interview prep I did with her for the role I've now landed was also instrumental in getting the offer. I wouldn't have been able to do it without her encouragement! In fact, though it took me a while to earn my first certificate from the package, (PRINCE2 Foundation, APM PFQ, AgilePM Foundation), I got the job offer less than 3 months after I passed the PRINCE2 exam. I'm still working through the other 2 courses, but once I've completed those too, it'll definitely be a competitive edge for my CV.
In contrast, I did have a difficult time contacting Student Care. Understandably, I was told they were going through an office move, but I got assigned to multiple reps, who stopped contacting after a few months, despite setting appointments. I'm someone, who prefers phone calls to emails, but the latter is probably the fastest way to get in touch with the Student Care team to be honest.
