I placed an order on Black Friday at…

I placed an order on Black Friday at Joann.com for multiple items. I received two partial deliveries but on separate days. As of January 3rd I was still missing nine items and never received any further information. When I called the company I was told the items are out of stock and the order was canceled. I said when I ordered online it said the items were available. Their response was “the online store is not REAL TIME!!!!” I asked why I wasn’t notified the order was canceled. The representative said they have a glitch with their email system and it is not sending emails to notify customers of out of stock items. The items were Christmas gifts and I was very disappointed and it has negatively impacted me in my confidence in Joann’s as well as ever wanting to place an order with them again.

I placed my order on Dec 19

I placed my order on Dec. 19 and had not received any updates. The website showed "processing" for over a week, so I submitted an inquiry. Again, I received no response. Today upon checking the status, I found that the order was cancelled without any notification. I canceled my account! I am deleting my app. I will not shop at Joann again and will submit negative reviews about my experiences! I am a longtime customer who is finished with Joann! Very unhappy!!!

Avoid JOANN - careless packing and cancelled items

Placed a large order on December 12 and all items were said to be in stock. They shipped part of my order, which arrived damaged on December 18 because they shipped the items in a flimsy plastic bag with NO protection. Very careless way to ship expensive watercolor paper, and no protection at all, so one pad was very damaged for which I received a refund after spending nearly an hour on hold to reach their customer service. The second part of my order arrived on the 20th; this time in a box, but again, no packing material, but items were okay. The third shipment arrived on the 24th; yet again with NO packing material; just thrown in a huge box, so the expensive watercolor pads were bent and damaged from bouncing around in shipping. They also cancelled half of that part of my order due to "inventory issues." They are happy to take your money when you place the order, then cancel your items when they can't fulfill the order. Even taking the holidays into consideration, they have real issues with order processing and packing orders correctly to avoid shipping damage. Very frustrating experience dealing with this company. The one positive thing I can say is that the refunds were processed promptly, but a complete waste of time and extremely poor customer service. I will never buy from them again. There are much better companies out there that sell art supplies; JOANN isn't one of them.

'Twas the Night Before Christmas... And No Sewing Machine' 🎄 'Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house, Not a present was ready—not even a blouse. The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, But the gift that I ordered? It just wasn’t there. I called weeks ago, “Will it ship? Please, confirm!” They promised, “Of course!”—now I feel like a worm. For today came an email that shattered the cheer, “Your order is canceled. Too bad—Merry Year!” No sleigh bells, no stitching, no fabric in sight, Just frantic online shopping at 2:00 in the night. While visions of thread spools danced in my head, I stared at my cart and just filled it with dread. “We’re sorry,” they said, “for the holiday mess.” Oh yes, nothing screams joy like last-minute stress! So here’s to your service—like coal in a sock— I’ll treasure this memory while watching the clock. And as Christmas arrives with its magic and gleam, My wife gets... a gift card. Not her sewing machine. So thank you, dear store, for the chaos you bring— May your New Year be bright... and missing one thing.

STAY FAR...FAR AWAY FROM JOANN

Ordered the wife a new Singer sewing machine for our anniversary. Online was slow....so slow the Singer didn't arrive until after our anniversary. Customer service was of no help when I called a week after I ordered it to see why it hadn't shipped yet. It would seem that I was transferred to a call center somewhere in the middle east so there was a language barrier. I received emails stating that FedEx was the hold up. After it shipped from Texas it took more than a week to get to Florida. I received an email stating it was delayed in Georgia. Anyways, I will never purchase anything else from them.

Multiple issues and so slow!

I ordered online Dec. 1. Just received my items Dec.17. Didn’t get my craft supplies in time to actually use them. Luckily they ended up cancelling the craft ornaments I had ordered. It says they will notify you but I was never notified. Looking up the order it says cancelled but on other things it says processing so I don’t know. Then they sent me 2 of the same ornaments and left out one of the ornaments I was really looking forward to. No easy way to try and fix this issue. Very disappointed and will not order online from them again. There’s a reason for their $2.99 shipping.

They are the worst!

They are the worst!! Ordered fabric on 12/5/24. Called multiple times and was told whole order would be here by 12/19/24. No. Only part of my order has been delivered and they have no idea when the rest is coming. Seriously over 2 weeks and still waiting. They are awful and their customer service department is a joke

WORST COMPANY TO DO ANY ONLINE BUSINESS…

WORST COMPANY TO DO ANY ONLINE BUSINESS WITH! They cancel items and never inform you that they are out of stock--even though they were in stock when ordered. They leave items "processing" that are clearly not in stock, and don't care. They also do not let any payment companies like Klarna, Affirm, or paypal know when they cancel items, but still take payments for items never received!

Joann’s customer service representative…

Joann’s customer service representative aren’t friendly at all. The shipping is horrible. It shouldn’t take two weeks to ship what you ordered. Then doesn’t want to cancel your order and give you a refund. I will not be placing another order with them again, it’s just ridiculous.

Cancelled Items and Delayed Shipping

I placed an order November 25th. They took a full week to finally ship it and a week after that the order still hasn't arrived. I went to check the order status only to find two of my items have been cancelled with no explanation. There is an FAQ on the site that says they reserve the right to cancel at their sole discretion, apparently without any notification. Absolutely horrible business practice and customer service never responded to my inquiry about it either.

I ordered yarn on December 3

I ordered yarn on December 3. I expected it to at least be shipped in 3-5 days. After being on hold for nearly 30 minutes, there are rude customer service people that just tell you to wait. He said it should be shipped by today, Dec 9 and I should receive it by Dec 18. I will NEVER order from them again. I couldn't even cancel my order even though it hasn't shipped. I can't believe how horrible they are!! I don't have that must time to waste!!!

Worst customer service.

I placed a order and it appears to be lost or either they can't keep up. I sent a text for a status from them on my order with the confirmation number. Their reply was they are extremely busy and they'll get to me soon. It as been over a week and no reply to date

I am so upset with Joanne’s

I am so upset with Joanne’s. The late orders and separate orders sent are all minor issues and can be tolerated however when you charge my account several times for 1 order this becomes an issue. I ordered on the third of December which the full amount was removed from my account. When shipping from different locations it charges you again separately. Eventually the do drop the pending charge but has my account in overdraft for 53.00 which will cost me now two separate overdraft fees. I’ve never noticed before because I have the money to fall back on but with holidays bdays and Christmas shopping I have spent more then an ordinary month. Maybe not charge until you ship like Amazon. Or when taking the funds out a credit in you chart and remove when shipping but this double charging is not professional. Unfortunately Joanne has access to certain products first so you have to buy from them. Be prepared if purchasing online for this to take place.

Charged double for my order

I placed an order online with Joann's Fabrics. My credit card was charged for the full amount of purchase. It is now day 10 after my purchase and Joann's has charged my card for three individual shipment amounts, while HOLDING my original payment in full. After 10 days and no delivery, I contacted customer support to be told that they will escalate the charge problems to the "people upstairs" and I should "hopefully" have a resolution in the next 3 to 5 business days. Bottom line: If you can't afford to pay for your order twice - and then wait for the refund of the original hold - DON'T ORDER FROM THEM.

No More Shopping at Joann.com

I placed an order with joann.com for about 50 skeins of yarn. Three skeins were missing when the yarn was delivered. I immediately contacted Joann's. I have now contacted the company three times about these missing items. I received an unhelpful AI response to the first email and no response at all to the next two. I'm so disappointed in Joann's.

Was at the great Northern store today…

Was at the great Northern store today to see dogs in the store. Turned off by buying something figuring I would get it home and be covered with dog hair and smell like dog with all the fabric in that store I can’t believe dogs are allowed. disgusting.

Christmas paper marked down 60% but the cost was $10.99 a roll. WTF? I got way better paper at my local grocery store for a fraction of their 60% off lie.

I placed an online order on Nov.20 for…

I placed an online order on Nov.20 for 4 items. I received one item. Another item was shipped but 10 days later I still don’t have it. I called customer service this morning and my other 2 items were cancelled. Joann’s didn’t notify me of the cancellations so I have been checking the status of the items everyday. I am so disappointed. I’m done shopping at Joann’s. They have lost my business.

Beautiful Quality Products at Great prices!

Everything I ordered is high quality and exactly what I was hoping for. The shipping process was reasonable for the holiday season and they went above and beyond wrapping my items and making sure they arrived safely and intact. I will definitely be shopping with Joann's more!

Rude Manager

When I walked in she walked away. I went to her and explained that I thought I was over charged. Actually what I got was not on sale. She refunded my money. But she was rude about it. I went to find what I wanted and she followed but stayed behind the cutting desk. I asked for her several times for help and she did not budge or even try to help. I got frustrated and said I was leaving. I told her she was rude and she told me "I think your very rude". I told her I would not be back she said "good". If that is how customers are treated I will go elsewhere. I did a survey and asked twice for someone to call me. I have never received a phone call back.
