I knew the exact shelving unit I wanted, industrial rustic with mesh doors. I’d found it on a few sights, then Homedone popped up on Google search, the exact same unit, £20-£30 less than other sites. I read reviews on the company which were good, so I ordered it, paid with PayPal and reviewed confirmation e mails straight away. I got a tracking number for the courier and it arrived exactly on time within a few days. It looks stunning and I’m very happy I used Homedone. Will definitely use them again.
We chose to order our sofa set from Home Done because the price was slightly lower than other suppliers. However, I wish we'd ordered from someone else, because Home Done's advertised delivery date turned out to be an absolute fiction. The website said "delivery between 23 December and 1 January", but in the end the goods weren't delivered until 22 January.
Their communication is absolutely diabolical. They lie to you and are not honest when dealing with delays, then try to charge you if you want to cancel an order that has not yet been despatched. Worst communication I have had with any company. Item eventually arrived nearly a month late.
I’m still waiting for the sofa , ordered on the 1st December. Delivery time was 13th dec - 23rd dec . It’s now the 29th January. Been told it’s coming end of the week 3 times , I’ve also been told it will be delivered by the end of this week . I’m so disappointed as it was a new home gift for my pregnant daughter. Well who was pregnant she’s since had my grandchild and still has nothing to sit and relax on . Beyond pissed off and would not recommend home done for anything . Communication is non existent. IF IT DOES NOT TURN UP THIS WEEK I WILL BE GETTING INTOUCH WITH TRADING STANDARDS
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I ordered a small table and they sent the wrong size, which is clearly printed on the box. They want me to take it out and measure it!! They keep disputing the size ! Why. They are going to charge me to get it back to them and are very reluctant to give me a refund. I am told that even if I buy another table I will still be charged to get it back to them. UNBELIEVABLE. So bad.
Do not use this company! After a battle to get homedone to admit to sending the wrong colour sofa and putting in writing that they will refund the full amount, they now keep saying the sofa will be collected and nothing happens. This sofa has now been fully wrapped in my house for 3 weeks!! We can’t use it and no one will take it away! This company has caused so much stress and suffering. They need closing down.
Excellent product and service at an unbeatable price
I purchased a corner sofa priced £430 on 7th November 2024 from this company. There was an issue with the couriers who tried to deliver out of the timeframe we agreed then tried to deliver a second time after I cancelled and requested a refund. I was charged £149 for cancellation charge by Home Done even though it was not my fault! As I have been dealing with family bereavements one after the other I honestly couldn’t be bothered challenging them and just wanted them to refund me the remainder of monies owed amounting to £281 😞 After many emails requesting my refund I was informed that my refund was IN A QUEUE with the accounts department ie many refunds requested by other customers?? Not good. The company also states in their Facebook advertisement if you change your mind you will get a REFUND but it won’t be a FULL REFUND after cancellation charges if you receive it at all. I have now run out of patience and want no further contact with this company other than the legal route after advice from Citizens Advice Bureau I have been extremely patient considering my family circumstances and will be reporting this company to Trading Standards and recovering monies through small claims court for the full amount including interest. I put a review on the Facebook page and they took it down!
Sofa not delivered in time frame given and very poor communication from couriers. Courier totally unwilling to deliver at any other time than the date they scheduled. Only offered another date after order has been cancelled and a refund sought. Then threatened with a cancellation charge as a result of their inadequacies and poor communication.
I am completely unhappy with this purchase because I had ordered a wardrobe in high-gloss white, but I received it in matte white instead. The delivery was also significantly delayed, taking one month longer than the specified date. I requested twice to cancel my order and refund my money, but they completely ignored my requests.
Despite a mixed response of reviews on here I was originally unsure of placing an order but I thought that I’d give them the benefit of the doubt and place an order anyway as some company’s can sometimes face tricky customers…. I couldn’t have been more wrong! This company is beyond a joke! I spent close to £500 on an item that I don’t believe actually existed or if it did the company had no intention of sending it out to me. Ordered this item not long after Christmas but received no end of issues with this! Right from the get go seconds after placing my order I experienced my first issue….I received no confirmation email that I just spent close to £500 on a sofa! I let a couple days pass and then I decided to reach out to the company and explain that I received no confirmation email after my purchase, when I finally received a response I was told that I might of used the the wrong email address? How can I use the wrong email address but on your website I’m able to log into my online account and see the tracking on my item, tell me how does that work? Ordered this item not long after Christmas but seriously started to regret my purchase. After my initial issue of no confirmation email things started to only get worse, I was able to track my order for the first few days then all of sudden nothing! I reached out to the company about this issue and was told that I never made an account at time of purchase when I know full well I did. The next issue that I encountered was the fact that every time I mentioned that I wanted the item cancelled/ refunded they would ignore this and proceed to email back with regards to something else. I was told by the company that a courier was going to deliver my item and that they would contact me directly to arrange the delivery date/ time when they received the item. During my delivery window that the company had told me I received no contact what so ever from anybody about delivering a sofa. Going forward a few weeks and as expected my delivery window passed and still no sign of the item so I had to resort to raising a dispute with my bank and claiming my money back via them. Don’t be stupid like me and decide to ignore the bad reviews and focus on the good reviews, all these good reviews are most likely fake or the customers have been paid to leave a good review. Don’t give HomeDone the benefit of the doubt and think about giving them the chance, just avoid them and go to a reputable company that isn’t going to try and take your money!
Initially agreed to return/refund item, later reneged. Two days delay over their 14 day deadline was because it was Christmas and Boxing Day but it did not matter to them. All those spoken to appeared non indigenous and showed no respect for the top religious festivals of homeland. Subsequent phone calls were ill intended and even disconnected. Keep away!

Took ages to arrive and then when putting it together the holes for the screws don’t match, tried different ways still don’t match up, even followed a video on YouTube, for the price I would expect it to arrive in working order

I purchased a 6x10 greenhouse in October 2024, which was severely damaged by adverse weather in December, despite following the recommended setup guidelines. I reached out to the company multiple times, providing photographic evidence of the damage and explaining that lightweight plant pots in the same location were unaffected—indicating the greenhouse's poor quality. Instead of addressing my concerns, the company repeatedly requested irrelevant information, like wind speed data, seemingly to avoid responsibility. They dismissed my claim, citing a lapsed return period, despite the greenhouse failing within three months of purchase. Their response that 'damage caused by severe weather is beyond their control' felt like a convenient excuse to deny accountability for a poorly designed product. The lack of customer care and refusal to provide a resolution—whether a refund or replacement—was infuriating. This experience has shaken my trust in their brand, and I strongly advise others to avoid Home Done if they value quality and customer service.
