I placed an order on 31/12/24 with estimated delivery 7-9th Jan. After receiving no updates or communication I tried several times to contact them via different ways with great difficulty!!! I finally got an email response on 12/01/2025 informing me that I will not be receiving my item, it was the “last one” and has conveniently been “lost in transit”. I am beyond angry and disappointed with the rubbish service, I would not recommend anyone to use!!

I’m trying to return an unopened item and you’re trying to offer me a partial refund of 4 pound and to keep the item! I want a full refund

Was a little unsure at first as never heard of company but Items sold from homedone were cheaper than competitors and delivered promptly by a reputable courier really pleased with purchase and saved some money too

Home Done themselves were easy to deal with, with good communication however the courier service had they used DX failed to deliver on the first 3 days they said they would delivery was at the 4th attempt, they never even gave an am or pm so we waited in wasting our time.

Very easy ordering, quick delivery and on time. The bed was extremely well packed. Very happy with the whole experience.

The product was easy to put together and was as expected but the delivery was poor. I had a time frame of 3 days for delivery, the company didn't send the parcel out to me untill the last day it was meant to be delivered. I chased customer services and they just gave excuses. They did not understand they were in the wrong and did not apologise for the delay. I ordered from this company as the delivery date landed on my day off, otherwise I could of ordered elsewhere. When ordering ignore the delivery dates as they are not correct

The unit I bought looks nothing like the picture advertised. The picture does not show that the unit is in two halves. I know you get what you pay for, but this item is very flimsy and the joints don't line up.

I would strongly recommend to not purchase from this company. The item was poor quality and not finished well at all. With corners of the coat rack snapped and hooks out of alignment. Following 4 messages from me and 6 from Home Done for me requesting the item to be collected and a full refund in line with their re-fund policy of 14 days money back guaranteed - I was offered a partial refund of £5, and then asked what I would accept, and then offered a complete replacement. I had to raise the issue with Paypal and was credited. I would strongly recommend to not purchase from this company.

Honest communication would be helpful, as would an accurate appraisal of likely delivery dates. Phone calls were ignored, email responses sporadic and often unhelpful. There’s no instant chat on the website even though the recorded message on the phone line says there is. The same applies to logging an enquiry over email. Pretty amateur.

On buying a chair from Home Done

Despites the missing parts of the furniture, after sales service is great, quick respond and quick delivery.

First thing wrong was..delivery .5 days later than they quoted.. secondly. Quality could have been better,as not as comfortable as it could be...

From ordering to delivery and a call to customer services. Great company to deal with nothing to much trouble.

Absolutely shocking experience from start to finish. Ordered a sofa with a delivery date that could vary between 7-10 days and when it finally turned up, it was the wrong colour (my fault), contacted customer services to exchange and had to chase them 6 times for a response. In the end I decided I wanted to return the item as I was appalled by their lack of correspondence only to be told that it would be £99 to exchange or £189 for a return - the sofa was £440 so to return it they are charging the best part of 50% of the item cost. Do not order from this company, there are many other reputable businesses out there with a transparent returns policy and communicative customer services team
