I knew what I wanted...
I knew what I wanted, and had some specific and unique criteria that I was looking for in my BMW. Ali was very prompt, professional, and searched far and wide to locate a vehicle that we were able to do a deal on.
Hilton Car Supermarket has mixed reviews from customers. Customers particularly appreciate service and professional, though some mention concerns about customer service and communication.

Great Dealership Experience
Worst garage I have ever dealt with. The customer service is shocking, my car broke down within 3 weeks of having it and ended up being off the road for 6 weeks, they only gave me a courtesy car when I expressed I have disabled children and was having time off work and school because we had no transport. Would never purchase a car here again. AVOID.
Service of viewing a car, dealing with Raqib in sales was faultless. The issue is all about the aftersales. When I test drove the vehicle it had a flat tyre which I was assured would be fixed if I purchased the car. I purchased the car and a day later the tyre sensor warning came on! The company kindly offered me £70 towards a new one and all I had to do is email the aftersales team with my invoice. I sent 3 emails over the span of two weeks and finally got a reply saying it will be paid back the next day and one week later with 2 more emails sent - NOTHING. No reply, no money back. They sold me a car knowing there was a fault, they convinced me they would reimburse me and have decided to ignore my emails. Not impressed at all

I bought a lovely looking Blue Mini Cooper (GL60 ADU) from Hilton Car Supermarket. Unfortunately on the drive home I noticed smoke coming from the exhaust. I booked it into the Mini garage near my home. It turned out to have a long list of issues that would cost at least £7500 to get repaired as well as undeclared modifications. After showing proof of the issues and them accepting the car back, they are now refusing to refund any money. The lady at the after sales team will tell you anything to get you off the phone and the managers never contact you back. Initially I thought I had been unlucky, but the way they have conducted themselves makes me believe that this behavior is the norm for them. I would strongly recommend not buying cars from Hilton car supermarket as i now have to take legal action. The reply from Hilton car supermarket is misleading. I have supplied my payment details twice before there reply to this. 3 times if you include purchase. Until this review, they had not acknowledged anything, I’ve still not had any apology, mostly importantly I still don’t have a refund or any idea when I will get a refund. Since writing this review. Hilton Car Supermarket have just started hanging up the phone when I call.

10.06.2025 UPDATE - Shock horror I have had absolutely no comms from After Sales as said per reply! Nor a reply to my email that Venu was apparently going to reply to….. £200 does not cover and is an awful excuse for compensation. 29.05.2025 - Editing to reply! You part returned and I have spoken with Aftersales - Venu - who still has not replied to my email sent on 14th May and the reason given for not replying was because of Bank Holiday….. I expect a prompt reply with a much better resolution and offer of compensation given the stress your branch has caused. I am yet to receive, as you say, ‘the service I deserve’ and still haven’t received any correspondence to discuss the matter. Patience has worn and you will not regain any of my trust. STAY AWAY! The worst company I have ever dealt with in my entire life. 1 star shouldn’t be allowed to be selected. Customer service is absolutely diabolical. Refusing to return my £250.00 holding fee. Refused to look at my vehicle which has cost 3k to fix which is against consumer rights considering I’d only had the vehicle 3 months. Passed between 3 sales people who were mocking me over the phone making me feel humiliated throughout. Emailed Daniel the CEO and still awaiting a reply. Literally none of them have a care in the world for anyone that walks through the door. A very selfish company. After sales don’t reply to emails unless it suits them. No offer of compensation. Absolutely vile store that needs to be shut down immediately. Reported to motor ombudsman!

We visited this dealership to part exchange our own mint-condition vehicle, which was initially valued at £12,300 online. When we arrived, they suddenly dropped it to £11,000 without explanation. When we questioned the onscreen valuation, they said they would “independently value it.” After wasting an hour and a half at the dealership, they then supposedly plugged our car into a diagnostic machine and claimed it had six faults, including ABS issues and wiper positioning faults. This was complete nonsense. Our car is in excellent condition, has no warning lights, and has been regularly serviced. We had it checked independently at another garage straight after — and guess what? No faults found at all. We were also told that not all ABS issues trigger a dashboard warning — but any genuine ABS fault absolutely would. He showed us the report on his phone whilst briefly swiping through the faults! When I asked to review the faults, the phone was quickly took off me when I questioned the faults!! It felt like a deliberate attempt to fabricate issues to drive down our part-exchange price even further — which they eventually reduced to £10,800. To make things worse, the £20,000 car we were considering buying from them came with only a 1-month warranty — which is ridiculous at that price point. Any reputable dealership offers 6–12 months minimum. This entire experience felt manipulative and untrustworthy. If you’re thinking of buying or selling here — don’t waste your time. Get a second opinion and take your business somewhere more honest!! RESPONSE: Thanks for the copy-and-paste apology, but let’s be clear — this wasn’t a “communication issue.” It was a blatant attempt to invent faults that didn’t exist to knock down the part-exchange price. Your technician waved a phone in our faces with a list of so-called faults (including ABS issues), then swiftly took it away when questioned — very convincing. We had the car independently checked immediately after, and surprise surprise: zero faults. Land Rover later confirmed the same when we infact traded it in with them today!!! If this is your idea of a “transparent” process, I’d hate to see what you do behind closed doors. A one-month warranty on a £20k car and phantom issues on a mint-condition vehicle? No thanks — we’ve took our business to a real dealership with 12month warranty & that doesn’t rely on scare tactics and sleight of hand!!!

The individuals I spoke to regarding my purchase were friendly, very helpful and professional. I contacted to them via email. They made the whole process of purchasing a car from home easy and painless.

Updated again, again: Positives: Found the staff professional and courteous, free tea and coffee whilst waiting and seen to in a timely manner. Car was brought round to the front for viewing and then test drive whilst our car was been valued, then offered a reasonable price in part exchange. Negatives: Car not valeted properly, some dirt on the roof and interior didn't appear to have been cleaned very well. Had it not been for this would have probably given 5 stars. Car had no previous service history other than the service done at Hilton, they said they would forward us this on the following week as the garage was closed on the weekend. Promised a call back by the manager but never happened, phoned again a promised another call back next week. I don’t see why this should be an issue, I’m starting to think another company that once have your money then don’t really care! Still no response, I don’t appreciate being lied to and fobbed off so I’m taking another star off the last update. Now reduced to 1 star, having tried calling customer service I gave up and tried calling the sales no. how strange someone answered after the first ring!! (Great if they think you want to buy a car!) so I asked to be transferred to the salesman whom we purchased the car from, to my amazement I was actually cut off! Tried again immediately after and I can only assume my number came up and was subsequently cut off again! I’m now going to get the car serviced at a local franchise dealer as I don’t want my wife driving around in a car with potential issues, I’m beginning to think they never even serviced the car hence no record of it! If not just say you haven’t and don’t lie! You where also very quick to ring a after the purchase and ask for a trust pilot review, well here it is! I would NOT recommend Hilton car supermarket and won’t be using them in future.
