Used Enact to remortgage. Pretty smooth process, kept informed throughout. Got a response via the messaging option when needed and got through on the phone every time I called. Would use Enact again.

Efficient streamlined service would recommend
Communication is virtually nonexistent. Messages sent via their portal seem to disappear into a black hole, with no responses for ages. When they do reply, it’s usually just to request yet another document, with no meaningful updates or progress. The only updates I’ve received are vague assurances like, “It’s currently with the team for review,” but it seems that team is either severely overworked or nonexistent, as nothing actually gets done. Meanwhile, yet another month passes on my existing expensive mortgage as I’m left chasing them for any semblance of progress. Unfortunately, this conveyancer was assigned by my remortgage bank—otherwise, I would avoid them entirely.
Jan 2025 property sold In the initial period of our house sale the person we dealt with was rarely available when we called or used the info tracker. several times we received information that was incorrect or inaccurate. We complained at the time. The next was the second case handler and while the experience got slightly better, often she was not available for calls, but she usually responded on the tracker. I found much of the information came directly from us rather than you guys being proactive and communicating with our buyers legal reps. most of the time we asked questions you had no answer so we directly got in touch via the buyers people or the buyer direct and got immediate feedback for the questions we asked, which is something you guys failed to do in a timely manner, if we could achieve a response within minutes, why did it take sometimes 24 hours or longer for you to achieve the same? made me wonder just what we were paying you for! completion failed the first time around due to the stand in case worker who knowing all day it had to be signed off at 4:30pm left it until 4;22pm to contact us on a private phone number with no ID, which most scammers and nuisance callers use, so went unanswered by us until he eventually left a voicemail to which we responded but by this time it was too late so another 24 hours later it resolved. It was a very poor service and I complained directly on a telecon and complained about your service via Pygott & Crone, who BTW you could learn an awful lot from concerning customer service and timely response. I have ticked the box below but I doubt you will publish this on your website. That’s why I am now posting here Terrible company absolutely no pride in their customer service service charge a lot for doing very little and communicating less
Excellent service from Enact, this is the quickest and easiest service I have used. They kept me up-to-date and the whole process was completed within three weeks. Will definitely use again.

Very poor. Forced to use this shambles of a company due to a remortgage with Santander but they are so incredibly slow and in some instances taking up to 3 weeks to reply to messages on their portal (which is also poorly designed - how can you have zero tasks to do but messages to read on a separate menu which you can’t see without clicking on it!). Overall I feel they’ve taken on too many clients and their staff are at breaking point or their staff don’t care, either way it’s not good.
Absolute Nightmare ! Enact Conveyancing have no legal knowledge outside the blinkered area they work in. The whole 'Online Case Tracker' is rude, impersonal and quite frankly insulting. JW was no help whatsoever. I am not a solicitor, I have no legal knowledge, but to be asked week after week for an update from Land Registry is like asking 'how long is a piece of string ?'. To be asked for a Land Registry update on March 24th, and then told in the same paragraph that my mortgage offer expires on the 31st, was just condescending and insulting. Enact aren't human and fail to show any compassion to a struggling customer !

Seamless way to complete on a Mortgage. Everything is all via a portal and all updates are provided through there. Very simple and easy to use too. Would very much be happy if my future remortgages are this simple!
