Made sure everything was sorted in the background. Emailed with updates and took care of everything without too much input from me.

Used Enact to remortgage. Pretty smooth process, kept informed throughout. Got a response via the messaging option when needed and got through on the phone every time I called. Would use Enact again.

Brilliant company, we used them to help with our remortgage. From the first day they were in touch keeping us updated on the progress. Every member of staff were so helpful and lovely to deal with.
I was directed to Enact through a remortgage with Santander. This process began in December 2024 and with 3 weeks to go until my mortgage offer expires on June 2nd (and five months sat on a variable 8% mortgage) it appears there is little to no progress. Their online portal is relatively unhelpful and I do not always get answers to the questions I ask. I have requested evidence of email chains to my grounds management company and been given some evidence of this in formats that don’t seem to open. I was also given the advice to contact the grounds management company myself which surely should not be my responsibility (and I am being told by them that they are awaiting responses from Enact). Requests to access their formal complaints procedure have been met with the response that this can be done after completion (which I do not think will be happening). I have paid an additional £1500 (and counting) in mortgage interest payments than I would have if the mortgage had been sorted sooner. In addition to requesting items/forms that weren’t relevant, their most recent issue is to take 3 months to send a previous shared occupier a letter stating that the photo identification that she sent ‘did not meet requirements’ despite being verified by her own solicitor. I have lost all confidence in these conveyancers but live in hope that these problems can be rectified and some element of apology/reimbursement be possible.
Very easy process, good communication, everything ran smoothly. Would definitely use again. Thank you.
Great service

Enact we're fantastic we couldn't have managed without them.
Enact helped me seamlessly remortgage my flat. Slick, efficient, and painless experience, thoroughly recommend.
The online tracking progress is clear. Documents are easily downloaded/uploaded on Enact. Customer service is good - both online and telephone. My remortgage process went smoothly and as planned.
Easy on line access to monitor progress, proactive communication from Enact and the remortgage completed on the exact date needed. Perfect.
Always easy to contact and managed the process end to end seamlessly
Extremely smooth process, great system used by enact, easy to use, kept well informed and full trust through the process, I had two mortgages going simultaneously and both without a hitch. Highly recommend using them.
Excellent highly professional service throughout, would recommend and definitely use again. Thank you.
Excellent service, seamless from start to finish with continuous contact along the way.
Enact were responsible for conveyancing for our remortgage. The process was quick and easy for this and they completed the job, however I needed to get in touch with them afterwards with a request to expedite applications pending at the Land Registry, which was time sensitive given we were now selling our flat. There is absolutely no easy way to contact Enact other than a form on site, which was initially replied to and then ignored by Enact for over a month, despite me chasing multiple times via email. Extremely frustrating, that I had a good experience with them during the remortgage, and then once complete they abandon me and provide almost no communications when I had an important request afterwards. Very poor.
We recently remortgaged our house and Enact were dealing with this for us. I can honestly say they were amazing-there was a portal where we could see exactly how things were progressing but also everyone I spoke to was so knowledgeable and helpful they really made what was a stressful situation so much easier would highly recommend.
I am still in the process of remortgaging with this company doing the conveyancing! I started in January, yes January! My mortgage company said the delay is Enact have got to set a completion date, how many months does that take?! I ran out on my current deal in March so now I’ve paid 2 lots of the tracker rate costing me £800 to date! I ring and you can’t speak to anyone actually dealing with it you just have to leave messages. I don’t even know what the finances look like anymore because the original amount we are borrowing is now too much as we’ve made several payments since then so will end up borrowing too much which will then end up not coming off the mortgage which is pointless. On the plus side I guess I now won’t incur any early redemption costs with my current provider. I may as well have just remortgaged with them as the only reason we were swapping is to bring 2 mortgages into 1 and 1 didn’t expire until July. Should have just waited it’d have cost less in the long run. I suggest anyone remortgaging should find their own solicitor, I’m fuming at the costs I’ve incurred on this and I bet they don’t offer to cover the £800, no care for what this has cost me.
