Kia Bolton absolute rubbish

Kia Bolton absolute rubbish. Went in in March 2024 to buy a car but the system was down so promised a call back, and 16 months later it still never happened so I bought it somewhere else, now trying to BUY a service plan and promised a call from the service team, 7 days later still no call. Speak to Kia customer service and they send you to the dealer who never call back. If this is the service they offer when I am trying to buy something imagine how bad it would be if I had an issue. I have had 4 Kia's now and this will be my last one

DM Kieth Kia Leeds.

DM Kieth Kia Leeds. Absolute pleasure from ordering to picking up my new car. Tony was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and explained fully how the Motability Scheme works and how it would help me to purchase my new car. He was instrumental in me choosing this route , as it had always worried me in the past. Tony kept me informed regularly regarding when the car would arrive and when the adaptation work would be carried out. The whole experience has been stress free and very straightforward . I love the new Kia Sportage and would highly recommend the Leeds Kia dealership to anyone who wants an excellent buying experience.

I would have given them a 5 star review…

I would have given them a 5 star review except for the fact that one person at the desk let them down . I had a front camera replaced and when the work was don , the bumper was not put on straight . Had words with a certain individual that worked on the desk . After trying to sort out the mess , I finally had a call from the service manager Bobbie ! He sorted it out with flying colours, excellent service ,polite to the point and extremely professional. Hopefully the of his staff will take note of how it should be done . Well done Bobbie. And thank you !

Don't bother

Today Monday 7th I walked into kia bristol to look at the price of a brand new picanto .I wandered around the showroom giving the salesmen plenty of time to acknowledge me AND NOTHING. I WONT BE BUYING A NEW CAR AT THIS DEALER.( shocking service) GO ELSEWHERE.

7 Year Warranty? Appalling Service.

Wife's car is less than two years old and has developed a minor fault; I believe it is a warranty issue but even though minor the car will not pass a MOT (windscreen wash failure) . Have contacted just about every Kia dealer within 50 miles and the BEST I can get is a booking for "diagnostics" in 3 weeks. And how long will I have to wait for parts and repair after that? What is the point of a 7 year warranty when you can't get problems fixed? Wife needs her car, no possibility of courtesy vehicle (IF one is available) until the "diagnostics" (which involves 30 minutes to remove 4 screws, 1 panel and going "yes, the water line is split" and that's where the screenwash is coming from) confirm it is a warranty issue. If Kia can't improve the service provided by their dealers, the 7 year warranty is a waste of paper and there is no point in buying a Kia. I certainly won't be buying another if I keep seeing the AWFUL warranty and service reviews.

Group 1 Kia Coulsdon

Group 1 Kia Coulsdon. Over the past couple of years I have had a few problems with the Coulsdon branch. Was having problems last week. I needed my car urgently on Friday and at 5.00 pm on Thursday they said I needed a new battery. As I was desperate I agreed for them to supply and fit for the cost of nearly £300.00. It seemed excessive but I had no choice. When I picked the car up they said I needed glo plugs and the service manager would come and pick the car up as yet I am still waiting. Have tried calling and they said the service manager had rang me but I don’t have any missed calls from him.

Kia Romford

Kia Romford. I was sold/upgraded a car by one of the keen car sales people, he assured me that I had a 2 year free service plan as advertised on the website too. A year later and a service is due with a fat bill, to which the sales person has been sacked and I quote from the lady on the phone "let's say he was asked to leave because of his way of working". I was also assured 2 days prior to the appointment of service that this was correct and she could see it on her system! Until I turn up on the day! The sales Manager Fiez on the phone basically admitted that it seems I have been miss-sold the car as I've been told one thing and no paper work to back it up - so I'm stuck at a catch 22. The best the could do was take some money off the service! Poor service, miss sold products and no consideration or responsibility taken by the team at Romford! This is my 5th year with Kia, I won't be going back as soon as this contract is up! Lost a long term loyal customer?

A great car and a good dealer

We have owned an eNiro First Edition since 2020, driving around 60000 miles in it. A fantastic car. Certain occasional gremlins, along with a patchy EV service infrastructure learning curve, and now more recent supply chain fragilities have been an interesting and informative journey. We were lucky enough to have a small number of local dealerships to help educate us in how best to deal with these gremlins. A very recent intermittent fault (where the car started to think it was still connected to the EV charger whilst it was actually travelling on the motorway and elsewhere) resulted in a potentially very protracted repair process (under the excellent 7 year warranty). With advice from a very helpful and knowledgeable Kia mechanic, we were able to continue using the car. Our trips to the dealers for assistance at this most recent time exposed us to the later facelift model of our car, and thanks to an excellent salesman called Chris at Kia Stirling Flear and Thomson, we have as of yesterday taken possession of a 1 year old Niro EV 4. We are very impressed with the experience of buying from Kia Stirling and would recommend them wholeheartedly. We look forward to the rapidly developing UK EV service and repair capability for all manufacturers finally getting to where it needs to be.

I’m mortified!

I’m mortified! I bought a car from a dealership last year, and over the past few months we’ve had issues with the paint work peeling and yellowing. After a painful few months, they finally, accepted to respray the car, to rectify the problem. I booked the car in, for Monday, they wanted me to collect late Tuesday night, thank goodness I didn’t! I collected Wednesday morning and asked to take a look. The paintwork looks worse than when it went in. I don’t really need to go into detail, the pictures will tell the story themselves. What a shame I can’t add any! I asked why it wasn’t blended in, to be told this will cost more money, I thought blending new paintwork in was a given? Just take a look for yourselves. The over spray is everywhere, it’s been scratched and scuffed whilst it was in there, I was advised, this may have been the gazebo that was leaning against it while it was still wet? This shows lack of professional paintwork and it’s been done outside in what I imagine a pop up tent! They have absolutely destroyed the car.

Known faults

Cars are being sold with known manufacturers faults and the earliest you can get booked in to the dealership is 4 weeks and at least 6 weeks if you require a courtesy car. After sales service is shocking and dealerships seem unable to cope with the workload. KIA UK are unwilling to help, even though it is a manufacturer’s fault. Nice cars but no service when they go wrong.

I own a 2017 Kia Sportage ISG1

I own a 2017 Kia Sportage ISG1. My ignition barrel failed about 2 months ago now and my car has stood still in my local garage ever since. Reason: shortage of parts in the UK, Kia waiting for parts to arrive from abroad. Totally unacceptable, the experience has been so stressful being without my vehicle especially being self employed. I am literally earning nothing without my vehicle. No mention of a courtesy vehicle from Kia, typical unhelpful customer care to be honest. Will I keep the vehicle after repair? Probably not as I can not go through this again. Would I recommend to a friend? with my experience of Kia definitely not. I have been made aware by Kia of a parts shortage but why should I have to take the stress and problems Kia have put on myself.

KIA A FUIR d’urgence !!!!!!

KIA A FUIR !!! A bannir !!!!!! Scandaleux cette situation!!! Une voiture garantie 7 ans ???? Mensonges!!!!

AVOID - shocking service, warranty worth NOTHING

The purchase of my Kia Stinger GTS was heavily influenced by Kia's 7-year warranty and promise of good customer service. This is now the second time I needed warranty support and once again Kia let me down. The first time, my sun roof developed the dreaded creak that is mentioned in many forums - Kia did not consider this an issue and charged me a £114 diagnostic fee. Now, the car no longer turns on, yet both local Kia dealerships have no available appointments for over 1 month - my car, WHICH IS STILL UNDER WARRANTY, is now sitting on the driveway for over a month., I contacted KIA UK and they washed off their hands of their warranty responsibility, pointing at the dealerships, busy Christmas etc etc. Ultimately, Kia need to ensure that their service partners are suitably resourced to uphold their warranty obligations and they clearly do not seem to care. AVOID - this is my first and last Kia.
