She was really helpful and reassuring and guided me through the process, responding very quickly and clearly. She was excellent and I am now confident that I have the cover I bought. Unfortunately I had to cancel my new policy, due to an issue with the age of my car so emailed Customer Services, who responded in a very timely manner. I dealt with Chloe and even though when she picked up the first email from me on a day off, she still made me aware she had picked it up and would keep me updated, which she did. The whole process with her, whilst also simultaneously dealing with Groupon was slick and it was a real pleasure to deal with somebody who kept you informed throughout the process and whose communication skills and customer service were exemplary. Quite shocking,was charged £45 told 90minutes for recovery & after 2hrs phoned back only to be told they had been delayed & were sending another breakdown company.Would you not have thought there system would have flagged up that the 90minutes had expired & for them to contact me rather than me call them.45 minutes later the other company turned up after I had been told they were coming from 10 miles away which turned out a lie as the driver had been heading back from Bradford when he got the call,so in all over 3 hrs after I originally called.They tell you things that aren't true & charge you 45 pound for the privilege.
Will not be going with this company again,I suppose you get what you pay for.Green flag or RAC may be a bit more expensive but you won't get ripped off when you break down.
Customer for a while to cover for heating. Then this year boiler 10 years old. Asked for service paid £45 said they would arrange, weeks later no reply or service. In mean time boiler leaked so paid £60 for call out, local firm did good job. Be smart said bill was nearly £575 so had to pay another £325 . Found out part required and replaced could be bought for less than £100, repairer said price excessive for 1 to 2 hour job. Am due £45 for non service which firm has agreed but have now rung 5 times since ,they said would send but no reply. Now asked to cancel ,still no reply. Firm customer service rubbish
This is the worst company I have ever faced. They do not give you option for not to auto renew policy when you buy the policy. Next year they will charge you 3/4 times more then the you paid and if you cancel them you will have to pay £30 admin fee. Stay away from this company.
The car broke down on the hard shoulder of the M56 during rush hour. They refused to collect the car because it was "untaxed". The car had been taxed that day but DVLA doesn't update their system until the following day and as they only reference the DVLA website, they refused to help. However, I had a confirmation email from DVLA confirming the car was covered (otherwise I wouldn't have been driving it). I offered to send them email and they refused to accept it. So, they left me and 2 young children stranded on the hard shoulder with lorries passing by at high speed, in the pouring rain, during rush hour. So, thanks for nothing BeSmart, I've cancelled my policy and I'll be sure to share this story far and wide with all the car clubs I'm a member of. You should be ashamed. Disgraceful.
Be Smart utilities have taken out £8.95 out of my account. I have never set up
Anything with Be Smart, never given permission to Be Smart to take any money and until now, had never heard of them!! Who the hell are you?
Ryan sent out an illegal email without an unsubscribe link. The ICO says "these marketing emails must abide by strict rules regarding their content and provide you with the opportunity to opt out." I guess I will have to report them
Had the home emergency cover for plumbing and boiler issues. Initially I was told I would not be covered for a toilet that needs a new flush as I had a second toilet then that the conditions had changed and I would be covered. But after 3 visits and the plumber leaving my toilet destroyed said I'm not covered if the toilet is damaged by the plumber. I paid an excess of £45 for this. Seem to have get out clauses for any claim. Am currently trying to get my excess back but don't have much hope.
Purchased Premium Car Breakdown using Groupon to get an exceptional price. Wasn't able to put in date I wished cover to start ( I am currently covered elsewhere) but a short Email in evening asking for date to be delayed around 1 month responded to and actioned by 11.00 next day. Hopefully won't need to use cover purchased but if I do, hope it's as efficient!!
Thankfully, never had to use the breakdown service but I give them 5 stars as anytime I've phoned their customer service has been excellent.
A big thank you to Millie, the agent I just spoke to, for being very friendly and ensuring my policy wasn't renewed as I'd already set up a years cover with another company.
But I would happily use this company again, their renewal price was amazingly reasonable actually and the cover was very easy to set up in the first place.
I purchased a groupon voucher for breakdown cover. I had a little bit of trouble of using the voucher customer services recommended sening my details in a email. I sent it all through and within a hour I have breakdown cover all up and running. Absolutely brilliant customer service and admin thank you so much
