The car broke down on the hard shoulder…
The car broke down on the hard shoulder of the M56 during rush hour. They refused to collect the car because it was "untaxed". The car had been taxed that day but DVLA doesn't update their system until the following day and as they only reference the DVLA website, they refused to help. However, I had a confirmation email from DVLA confirming the car was covered (otherwise I wouldn't have been driving it). I offered to send them email and they refused to accept it. So, they left me and 2 young children stranded on the hard shoulder with lorries passing by at high speed, in the pouring rain, during rush hour. So, thanks for nothing BeSmart, I've cancelled my policy and I'll be sure to share this story far and wide with all the car clubs I'm a member of. You should be ashamed. Disgraceful.
