I spoke to Rosheen today because I hadn’t correctly activated my groupon voucher code for my breakdown cover. She was really helpful and reassuring and guided me through the process, responding very quickly and clearly. She was excellent and I am now confident that I have the cover I bought. Thank you Rosheen.
Unfortunately I had to cancel my new policy, due to an issue with the age of my car so emailed Customer Services, who responded in a very timely manner. I dealt with Chloe and even though when she picked up the first email from me on a day off, she still made me aware she had picked it up and would keep me updated, which she did. The whole process with her, whilst also simultaneously dealing with Groupon was slick and it was a real pleasure to deal with somebody who kept you informed throughout the process and whose communication skills and customer service were exemplary. Thanks Chloe.
Quite shocking,was charged £45 told 90minutes for recovery & after 2hrs phoned back only to be told they had been delayed & were sending another breakdown company.Would you not have thought there system would have flagged up that the 90minutes had expired & for them to contact me rather than me call them.45 minutes later the other company turned up after I had been told they were coming from 10 miles away which turned out a lie as the driver had been heading back from Bradford when he got the call,so in all over 3 hrs after I originally called.They tell you things that aren't true & charge you 45 pound for the privilege.
Will not be going with this company again,I suppose you get what you pay for.Green flag or RAC may be a bit more expensive but you won't get ripped off when you break down.
Dreadful service, waited 6 hours for assistance, left a vulnerable young lady in a lane with no street lights on her own for 6 hours. 10 phone calls made to emergency number, all of the operators lied about the ETA.
I would have given zero stars but was unable. Sign up with the Aa or race would be my advice.
It took 4 hours for someone to come and then they charged me £45 as my car is over 10 years old total ripoff!! Steer clear of them much better policies out there !!
Very poor service
After taking out the breakdown cover
They charge me extra £45 as my car was over 10y
And they charge me a further £35 excess charge for my vehicle being at home regardless I had home start on my cover
To a breakdown service they charge me a total £75
Will not buy this cover again cheaper to go AA or RAC

Broke down, the guy could not fix us so he told us to call again and request a recovery.
So we were charged twice: once for the breakdown and once for recovery.
Scammers!
Edit: after launching full blown complaint stating their own T&Cs they refunded the duplicate payment.
On Monday the 21st I reported a breakdown.The service engineer came out late afternoon on Tuesday they couldn't repair the boiler so.had to turn off the hot water.On Wednesday we got told they wanted a second opinion. Another company came out on Thursday and couldn't fix it and they sent a quote in for the work to So on Friday after more calls to the manager we got told someone would call us to fix the boiler later in the day a engineer rang the bell to fix the boiler that was luck because Besmart never gave our phone number for them to sort out a time.they think it ok not to have hot water to wash for a week. Still waiting on my reply from our complaint
Be vary of the hidden charges for cars older than 10 years old so there is literally no point having breakdown cover with these scammers. You will get to hear Utter pile of crap when you make a complaint. Disgusting customer service. Not recommended.
I do not recommend this service! We had to pay an extra £100 on top of what we already paid. Absolutely not worth it! For the same money, you can get a Breakdown Cover from a much better and more reliable service. On top of that, we had to wait for assistance for half a day. Never again—total waste of money! 🚫❌
Beware of hidden excess!
Cars over 10 years old are subject to a £45 excess, this is NOT MENTIONED on the Groupon ad, but there's no use complaining because you will get a cut and paste reply 'the excess is in our terms and conditions' - which you don't get to see until you've purchased.
On the other hand, I have BeSmart breakdown cover myself, my car is less than 10 years old so no excess, and the callout was within the timeframe specified and the jump start was efficient.
I will know NOT TO RENEW next year when my car is over 10 years old.

To many things went wrong at once with them as a company
Read the small print
they wanted £45 to tow the car to a garage and I had premium cover
So my advice
it's a scam
I got a refund and Groupon
Should check these companies deals out before using them as this was not a good deal
And quite clearly mine was not a one off situation after reading some people's same situations as mine on here 🙄
I purchased breakdown cover via Groupon on 28th February 2025 and have not received my membership number or details of my cover from BeSmart. I have contacted them on 3 separate occasions since, to no avail.
If I could offer any advice, avoid purchasing from this company.
